#random personal stuff#my father apparently thinks that it is 'unscriptural' for a woman in a church to speak directly to a deacon#and I want to argue so badly but I know I shouldn't#yeah the constantly complaining woman in their church is annoying#but the issue is her attitude not her gender#and requiring women in churches to do everything through their husbands is a) not in the scriptures#and b) not going to solve the complaining and micromanaging issues they have#the women in their are already extremely limited in anything they can do#if they want to pray out loud they have to do it in a separate room from the men#I don't find that taught in the Bible either#I have been struggling lately with how Baptists churches of our sort treat women#and this is setting off some Annoyance for me#but I have to keep my mouth shut#there's no arguing debating or discussion with Dad
