there should be some form of support for people who watched their younger friends marry 40-year olds
#one of my old students who was just 17 married a 30yo#and I girl I knew from uni just married a man that looks older than my 50yo dad#it's just so fucking sad#I genuinely feel so bad for them#how shitty your life must be to marry a balding 50yo man who looks like someone's grandpa while you are just 24#I keep seeing her insta posts and just the luck of genuine happiness from both of their faces....#he looks like he is her godfather or something#I'm not even sorry for coming across as judgmental but most often than not you can easily see what marriage is just a way to survive
