Summary: A push from her friends leads to Kwon YN trying to reconnect with her ex something Jeon Jungkook. Or the So Long Hogwarts Spin Off that took a life of its own.

This is becoming such another beast I have no idea what I'm doing. Thoughts and opinions please.

Compared to the last 2 years, third year was in general a fun good time.

However there was a lot going on with your interpersonal relationships.

It was only a few weeks into third year that Giselle noticed, 3 second years following you and Sunghoon around.

At first, neither of you cared. Both of you assumed they were just Harry fans that decided to follow you on the off-chance they see Harry.

That changed when Winter pointed out that these 3 didn't even care about Harry but obsessed with you and Sunghoon.

That's when you decided to talk to them, find out what they wanted and why they were following you and Sunghoon around.

You weren't expecting these 3 to beg both of you to be their Hogwarts parents or atleast a guiding light through Hogwarts.

Sunghoon, being the Ravenclaw he never acted like, made the choice to ask these 3 to leave so you both could discuss this.

While you were skeptical, you wanted to be the guiding light for them. For the next few days, you watched these 3 students and saw the bond they had.

It took convincing but you managed to convince Sunghoon to adopt these 3 2nd years.

At first it was an inside joke between your besties and KyuWoonChae as the trio liked being called.

And that's how you liked it, an inside joke that nobody got but those closest to you.

However by the end of the year, you'd be the one calling them your children.

It all started when after Ancient Runes, you saw Dean Thomas waiting for you outside.

Unusual, while you knew Dean as a fellow third year Gryffindor. A guy who was an amazing artist and whose best friend was Seamus Finnegan, that was as much as you knew about him.

"So any reason your waiting for me Dean?" You asked politely since he didn't seem to want to say anything to you.

Taking a deep breath, what Dean asked you shocked you.

"I wanted to ask if you'd like to go to Hogsmeade with me, as in on a date YN" Dean rushed out.

Confused you looked around to see if Harry, Ron or the Weasley twins had put him up to prank you like this.

Seeing no one around, you realised Dean Thomas was actually asking you out.

"Uh sure, I guess Dean" you mumbled before rushing off to lunch.

As you were running away from Dean you heard his shout of joy.

While you were happy to make someone so happy just by agreeing to go out with them.

It did remind you that, the person you'd like to ask you out likely never would.

But you'd agreed and you weren't gonna let Dean down.

A few days later, once news had spread all over the Gryffindor tower, you were second guessing how embarrassing it would be to cancel on Dean.

Lamenting your poor choices you were banging your head lightly on the table in the library.

"Ugh ur such an idiot Kwon Black YN, why would you agree to a date with Dean." You mumbled to yourself.

As you went to bang your head on the table again, a hand stopped you.

Looking up, you saw it was Jung Hoseok. One of the Bangtan boys.

"What did the table do to deserve this abuse Ynah" he asked, taking a seat next to you.

You sighed before replying to him.

"I agreed to go on a date with Dean Thomas but I don't even like him in that way, he just looked so sincere, I didn't want to hurt him and say no, so I agreed and now the whole of Gryffindor thinks we belong together"

There was a moment of silence as Hoseok digested what you'd told him.

You watched fascinated, as his expression changed from neutral, to confused, to upset, to neutral again.

"Did he force you to go out with him? Ynah cause I can talk to him and sort that out" Hoseok said.

"No, he asked me out of the blue and I agreed. I didn't even think he liked me in that way. I certainly don't like him as more than a friend but I can't even cancel without it being a disaster" you lamented, going back to bang your head on the table.

Before your head could hit the table though, Hoseok put a featherlight charm on that part of the table.

So there was a soft pillow feeling when your head hit the table instead of hard wood.

"Honestly this is nothing the stress about Kwon YN, go on the date. You can't back out now but remember to let this Dean guy know at the end that you don't reciprocate his feelings" Hoseok said calmly giving you his signature smile.

You couldn't help but smile back at him. Agreeing to follow what he's said.

You made you way out of the library, feeling much lighter than you had in the week since Dean had asked you out.

Though you'd promised Sunghoon to have an open mind on this date.

It went about as well as you'd expect it to go. And thankfully Dean agreed with you that there wasn't anything there.

You both went back to the castle as friends but determined to talk more. It didn't hurt to know those in your house more.

You knew that KyuWoonChae had been spying and telling Sunghoon everything that happened on the date.

So you weren't surprised when your friends ambushed you upon returning to the castle, not even bothering to ask for details and moving on.

The second date was because you lost a bet and you didn't even count it as a date since it was with Sunghoon.

KyuWoonChae had decided a quick way to make money is to bet on the quidditch teams.

The 3 lil shits (affectionate) decided to pit you and Sunghoon against each other. The losing person had to go on a date with the winner so whichever one of you won.

You and Sunghoon were going to go on a date anyway.

It was a fun time, both of you trolled KyuWoonChae as much as you could.

With the 3 agreeing that you both loved one another but will never be in love with each other.

The third date of your third year. Took you by surprise.

You were writing a letter to your parents with the other third year girls around.

Lavender and Parvati were twittering on about Prof Trelawny, Hermione sitting at the table looking ready to murder the girls.

Thankfully the boys come, Ron sitting next to Hermione distracts her from her murderous thoughts.

As Harry sits next to you looking over the letter you were writing.

"You know Harry, you could just write your own letter than giving me unsolicited commentary on my letter" you said to him snidely.

"I've already written and sent my 2 letters for the week, unlike you sister dear" Harry said cheekily pinching your cheek.

"Ugh, your such a try hard. 2 letters a week ya know. Shut up, I'm happy with my one letter a week" you say giving him a shove.

Before Harry can give you a response, you feel a tap on your shoulder. Turning it's Eunchae.

"Unnie there's some Slytherin waiting for you outside" She says before going to sit with her friends.

Confused you make your way outside to see who the slytherin is.

Of all the Slytherins, Theodore Nott was not the one you thought would be waiting for you.

"Finally, I'm pretty sure the next lion that walked past me was going to curse at me" Theo said when you came out of the common room.

"Sorry for making you wait Nott but what's the reason your here anyway?" You ask.

"Just to confirm, you're single right? Cause if you aren't, this whole conversation didn't happen okay" Theo asks you, looking nervous.

"Uh yeah, I am but what does that have to do with anything?" You ask, more confused.

"Great, your going on a date right now" and with that Theo grabs your hand and starts taking you towards a secret passage.

"I didn't agree to this?! Merlin Theo let go" you screech at him but his grip is strong.

"Theodore Thaddeus Nott let Kwon Black go, I don't need you to drag her on a date with me when I can ask her myself" Standing in front of you is Kim Mingyu.

4th year Slytherin, heir to an ancient and noble house.

Immediately Theo let you go, before you could even say anything to him he had ran off in the opposite direction.

"Theo's middle name is Thaddeus" is the only thing that comes out of your mouth before you start to laugh at the absurdity at what just happened.

Seeing you laugh does make Mingyu smile but he hides it quickly behind his usual idgaf expression.

"So what's this about asking me out? And why was Theo of all people dragging me to a date Kim?" You boldly ask after you've finished laughing.

"I'd simply mentioned it in passing to Theo, that I didn't know your dating status otherwise I'd have asked you out already. Being the busybody that he is, Nott decided to get involved" Mingyu explained to you calmly.

"Now that I know your single. Will you go out with Kwon Black?" Mingyu asks.

Your brain short circuits. What is going on.

First you were almost kidnapped for a date with a guy? And now the guy that stopped it, is the one asking you out, but he is also the one who the other guy was kidnapping you to go on a date with? Even in your head this didn't make sense.

Unlike your snap decision to agree to a date with Dean. This time you took the time to think about Kim Mingyu and the little knowledge you had on him.

You also thought about the guy you had a crush on. The guy who had practically been avoiding you this whole year.

Granted you knew it wasn't on purpose, you just kept on missing each other but that didn't mean it hurt any less.

Maybe it was time for this crush to be crushed by you gaining a boyfriend. Well that would depend on how well this date with Mingyu would go.

There's a high chance after the date he wouldn't want to go out again anyway.

Although you had promised Sunghoon to keep an open mind in your last date, truth of the matter was that you knew that Dean was only a friend and that's how you acted.

This time round though, you genuinely wanted to give Mingyu a proper date. Who knows how it could go.

"Sure Kim, let's go on a date" You tell him and then walk away. Knowing the Hogwarts gossip. Everyone will be talking about this within hours.

The date itself was great. You were having fun and if the smiles Mongyu kept trying to hide were any indication he was having fun too.

Yet, you knew there was an ulterior motive to him asking you out and you were going to get to the bottom of it.

"Now that we're relatively in a private place and we've both cast enough privacy spells, what's really going on Mingyu?" You ask him.

"I shouldve guessed that you'll figure me out fairly quickly KB" Mingyu says lightly.

"Appa was a Slytherin and it doesn't hurt to use those skills when dealing with all you snakes." You say as you take a sip of your butterbeer.

"Truth is, there's whispers of the dark lord coming back or some shit like that and well I wanted to see where you stand on that" Mingyu asks you cautiously.

"Where I stand is that the adults need to sort that out. I'm just a teen and so is Harry, the weight of saving the wizarding world shouldn't be put on teens" You tell Mingyu.

Anger flashing in your eyes just thinking of Harry being made the saviour of the Wizarding World.

"Not very gryffindor of you to stand by and let the world burn when you could do something to save it" Mingyu comments, noting the anger in your eyes.

This is the first he's seen of you actually getting angry and ofcourse it's over your brother.

"Its not about my house, it's about the adults in the wizarding world doing what they should be in protecting us the teens."

"The fact you're out here figuring out alliances is shit we shouldn't have to be doing. Yet here we are discussing this rather than figuring out if we should go on a second date or not" You say, losing some steam as you finish your tirade.

The more you think about this, the more frustrated you get at the idea of your brother being made the scapegoat for the wizarding world when there were adults who should sort this out.

"Since you brought it up, would I have gotten a second date?" Mingyu asks trying to divert your mind but also hoping that the answer is in his favour.

"Well yeah, I've had fun but if there's some keeping us a secret bs. I will walk out right now Kim Mingyu." You tell him sternly.

"Can I take the promise of a second date then? Let me sort out where my families allegiance is and if I'm going to follow that or not." Mingyu asks. If he didn't have to figure that out, he'd have that second date agreed on and be trying to get a kiss

"A promise of a second date? I can think about it. I'm not going to wait years for you." You tell Mingyu.

You weren't about to spend years waiting on a guy only for him to decide you aren't worth it. If third year was showing you anything was despite your bafflement, guys were interested in you.

"I could never ask you to wait years for me. That's just unfair. What about we carry on as friends, get to know each other more, once I've figured my shit out, I ask you out again?" Mingyu asks, he'll take friendship at this point, anything to keep you in his life.

You take the moment to look at Mingyu, think about things. Sirius had made quite the point about making connections with as many people you could.

You already had Giselle and Kyujin plus a frenemy type deal with Malfoy, it wouldn't hurt to have another set of eyes in Slytherin.

Being friends made sense. It left things open enough for both of you. Nodding your head.

"Okay, friends until you sort your shit out and if things don't get sorted then we remain allies if friends is too much" You say to Mingyu.

At your words Mingyu let's out a sigh of relief. Making his mind up to sort out his family allegiances as quickly as he can.

He's not going to let you go without putting up a fight.

As you were walking back to the castle, you got a patronus from Remus about news that your parents wanted to give you immediately.

You turn to Mingyu. Apologetic, you didn't want the date to end. You were looking forward to a leisurely walk back to the castle.

Instead you thanked Mingyu, without thinking gave him a kiss on the cheek and made your way to use the passage in Honeydukes to get back to the Castle.

Mingyu after you'd left was staring at the spot your been standing in. His hand coming to the cheek you'd kissed.

This only made him more determined to get that second date as soon as possible.

Getting to the castle, you hurried to Remus office. Worried to death at what the news could be.

Getting there, you see Harry and your parents sitting there solemnly. Your heart plummets. This isn't going to be good news.

"Who is it. Who died?" You ask urgently.

"Whoa Kit, nobody died, it's good news" Sirius rushed to explain.

"Good news? Why do you all look like someone's died!" You scream at them.

"I told you Siri that my girl wouldn't appreciate this stupid prank of yours" Your Eomma tells Sirius angrily.

She gets up, gives you a hug, with an arm around your shoulders gets you to sit next to Harry.

"The news is that I'm pregnant" The minute the words leave your Eommas mouth, you and Harry are on your feet hugging her and congratulating Sirius.

"This is great, I'm not Heir Black now am I? With a bio child on the way, I don't have to deal with any house nonsense any longer" You say, happy to not have the burden of Heir Black on your shoulders anymore.

At this Sirius looks at you. Putting his hands on your shoulders causing you to look at him. Grey eyes meet brown and you see the seriousness in his eyes.

"This baby changes nothing Kwon Black YN. Yes, you now have a sibling but you are still the Heir, I chose. I know Heir business is a lot and if I had my way, I wouldn't be making you do anything but the situation is that, you gotta start young, unfortunately." Sirius tells you.

"Ugh, I love you Dadfoot. So I guess I'm Heir Black until my baby sister or brother decides to murder me to become Heir" you say joking.

The joke doesn't go over well with your audience, with everyone shouting at you for making morbid jokes.

Laughing you hug everyone and let them know that just like Harry you'll love this new addition to your family.

After the date with Mingyu, you had all sorts of guys coming to ask you out. It got to the point that the inside joke with Sunghoon.

Was being used as a way to get out of dates. Why can't you go out? Oh you have to help one of your kids with homework.

Oh your too busy cause of a study session with another child of yours.

Your child is sick so your looking after them that's why you can't go out.

Thankfully after about a month of using these excuses the guys in Hogwarts got the idea that you weren't interested.

While this was going on, you carried on talking to Mingyu. He had a very different perspective on things and your debates could get very heated.

Usually it took Hermione or Theo being there to calm things down but it was still enjoyable.

It seemed like Jungkook had stopped avoiding you.

He wasn't everywhere like in first and second year but he was around enough that you felt the familiar feelings of a crush coming back.

Fave swift albums??

HI!!

This is such a hard question 😭😩😩 Im gonna go with my top 5. However the album order tends to change all the time so there's that.

1. Speak Now (Taylors Version).

This was the first album of Taylor's I heard fully. It's what made me a swiftie and it will always hold a special place in my heart. Knowing it was written by her and being a 13 yr old dealing with all the emotions, hearing Mean really did make me feel like I will rise above the bullies. Long Live to this day makes me emotional over the fact it was a song for the fans cause she didn't know what would happen with her career post this album.

2. Reputation.

I was going thru shit when this album came out and it helped me through it. I love it to bits. Everything about this album makes me feel like I can conquer anything and everything.

3. Fearless (Taylors Version)

You Belong With Me was the first video I ever saw and that's how I got interested in Taylor. I didn't listen to a full album until Speak Now came out but the songs on Fearless are what opened me up to Taylors songs. This album just takes me back to easier times.

4. Red (Taylors Version)

Iconic, no notes here really. Theres so many underrated songs in this album that I love and its just the perfect heartbreak album. Not even just heartbreak but a song for every situation really.

5. 1989 (Taylors Version)

This was the THE album and I get it. I didn't appreciate it enough when it originally came out but with the re record, Ive come to appreciate this album as a whole much more. Being older and with more life experience, I can relate to it a whole lot more too.

Pairing: Jeon Jungkook x F!Reader.

So this covers Jungkooks version of events in YNs first year.

It was known in the Jeon family, that the Jeons met their soulmates young.

Generally at Hogwarts, all it took was one proper glance or conversation and the Jeon in question was in for the long haul.

Jeon Jungkook had grown up on the story of his parents and other family members.

His dad saw his mum on the train station after first year and knew she was the one.

The fact it took Papa Jeon a good few years before he managed to talk to her is another story.

Similarly, Jungkooks uncle knew who his future wife was the minute the locked eyes with each other.

Granted it also took years for them to get together but that was more on Jeon Jungho being a bit of an asshole than anything else.

Jungkooks aunt Jeon Junhee was the only one who didn't find her soulmate during her Hogwarts years but all it took was a trip to Muggle London for her to find her one.

A few dates later Jeon Junhee was bringing her muggle husband into the family and everyone was overjoyed for them.

His Bangtan hyungs loved teasing Jungkook about this weird family magic of finding your soulmate.

TaeMin hyungs in particular were interested when after his first year Jungkook hadn't found his one.

Joking about how his might be a story like his aunts and they should start looking in the muggle world.

That all changed when during the sorting of his second year. Jungkook wasn't paying much attention, passively clapping but eagerly awaiting the feast.

Kwon YN was called by McGonagall and Jungkook turned to pay attention.

His whole family had been invited to the funeral of Kwon Hyungsik.

He was a respected member of wizarding society and his parents had told him that if he could to keep an eye on Kwon YN, who was joining Hogwarts this year.

All it took was one glance at Kwon YN and Jungkook knew. She was the one.

This adorable 11 year old was his soulmate, he knew it in his bones.

Even though the sorting was months ago. Jungkook didn't manage to actually have a conversation with Kwon YN until months later.

His hyungs found it hilarious that for all his bravado, he couldn't even talk to the love of his life.

His dilemma was real and he didn't appreciate his hyungs making fun of him.

He was one more windshield wiper laugh away from hexing Jin hyung.

It's not like he can just walk up to her and say hi, I'm your soulmate let's get to know each other.

However lucky for Jungkook, the chance to make himself known to Kwon YN came.

When he overheard her being quite the grump towards Harry Potter who was extoling praises about how wonderful he was.

Grumpy Kwon YN was quite amusing, the fact she didnt know he was there when she replied to Harry

Made the encounter all that much more funnier.

If she hadnt been dragged away by her Ravenclaw friend then Jungkook wouldve taken the chance and talked to her more.

Which did remind him that he needed to get all the information on her best friends.

Kwon YN was already making waves at Hogwarts for choosing to have friends outside of her house.

The fact her best friends were people from each house was practically unheard of.

Jungkook needed to get the info, on her friends from his hyungs, if he was close to them or atleast friendly.

Then that would give him more chance to talk to YN or atleast find out things about her.

Sure he would rather she tell him but hes not going to turn down information on his soulmate.

From what Namjoon hyung told him, Sunghoon was YNs best friend. The closest to a platonic soulmate.

If there was blood magic that wasn't dark, they'd have done the ritual and made each other siblings.

Sunghoon, for all that he was an 11 year old, was in Ravenclaw for a reason and had clocked the reason Namjoon hyung helped him in about a few days of watching Jungkook watch YN.

All he told Namjoon hyung was that he reserved judgement on Jungkook but as long as his best friend was happy, he's not going to object or be an obstacle.

When it came to YNs other best friends Giselle in Slytherin and Winter in Hufflepuff.

Jungkook didn't have a plan so much as he wanted info from his hyungs to figure out the most natural way to approach them.

Turns out he didn't need Yoongi hyung cause he came up on Giselle being surrounded by some 2nd year Slytherins.

They were making fun of Giselle for having friends outside the house and how they wouldn't stick with her.

In a show of stubbornness that Jungkook would remember. Giselle turned her nose up at them without saying anything.

Jungkook seeing his way in, loudly announced himself and let the Slytherins know that he could easily report them to Prof McGonagall.

"You didn't have to do that Jeon-sshi, but I appreciate the help" Giselle said to him when they'd left.

"I know I didn't have to do anything but I wanted to. Take it from someone who has friends in other houses, these idiots dont know how important they can be" Jungkook said to her with a smile.

Happily Giselle returned the smile and gestured for Jungkook to join her.

"Not that I have an issue joining you but where are we going exactly?" Jungkook asked.

"Oh sorry sunbae, we're going to Prof Sprout, she's got a few Herbology books I'd like to borrow." Giselle explained. Hoping Jeon Jungkook wouldn't take offence to her calling him sunbae.

Jungkook was overjoyed at being called sunbae. He smiled at Giselle letting her know it was okay and carried on following her.

After meeting with Prof Sprout, he even helped her bring the textbooks back to the Slytherin common room.

Getting to know Winter happened by chance. Jungkook was returning from Quidditch practice when both Hobi hyung and Jimin hyung practically ran past him in anger.

Confused but intrigued at what was going on, Jungkook followed them to the Infirmary where Winter sat next to Hwang Yerin a hufflepuff in his year, who by the looks of it was drying her tears.

Still without information on what happened, Jungkook went to Winter to ask her what happened.

He expected her to not want to tell him but she happily told him and that explained his hyungs anger.

Bullying was something none of his hyungs tolerated. For it to be happening in Hufflepuff, the house was in for it from Hobi hyung and Jimin hyung.

Unlike how it took Giselle a few meetings to get comfortable with him and Sunghoon who still looked at Jungkook with suspicion.

Winter was always happy to see him and to talk about YN.

Which was great but now he had to figure out how to get involved in YNs day to day.

Unlike his dad who didn't have the courage to talk to his mum until they were in their 6th year.

Jungkook wasn't wasting time to atleast be a friend to YN.

One morning at breakfast, he took the chance and dragged his friends to where YN sat.

"Good morning, how's the morning going for you kiddos?" Jungkook asked as he sat opposite YN.

Winter giving him a wink as she made the space for him to sit next to YN.

"There is literally nothing good about this morning Jeon. I've got Snape first thing." YN grumbled, turning to put her head on Sunghoons shoulder as he patted her head in commiseration.

Jungkook had to remind himself that he had no right to be jealous of Sunghoon right now.

He was YNs best friend, ofcourse she'd go to him for comfort.

Keeping a straight face, Jungkook replied to her.

"Look at this way, with Potions out of the way first thing, then you can enjoy the rest of the day."

YN lifter her head to look at Jungkook, she took in what he said before nodding her head.

"Fair point Jeon, I've got my essay for Snape done and he's going to be giving back our last essays. I do very much enjoy his pissed off face when telling me that I've got an O" YN said happily, going back to eat her breakfast.

"Wait what essay?! Mione!! Why didn't you tell me we had an essay due" Ron Weasley shouted from a little further down the Hogwarts table.

"I reminded you Ron, don't blame me for not doing it and I swear to Merlin if you don't learn table manners, I'm going to make sure you miss all your meals Ronald Billius Weasley!" Hermione shouted back at him.

This had everyone at the table burst out laughing.

"Can always count on Ron adding some entertainment to our meals" Giselle commented.

"The difference in reaction is what gets me, my house is over there glaring about how loud we just were."

"The puffs are laughing with us, meanwhile the snakes are glaring either at Ron's table manners or just cause it's the gryffindor table" Sunghoon said as he looked at the reactions of the other houses to what just conspired.

"Its a mix of both, from what Yoongi hyung tells me. The snakes only need a reason to glare at us lions and unfortunately for us Ron tends to give them all the reasons to glare first thing in the morning" Jungkook said.

Sunghoon looked at him before glancing at the Slytherin table and agreeing.

After that breakfast, Jungkook made it a point to sit with YN and friends at every meal.

He hadn't realised how much it had become part of his routine until the day he was running late and told his friends to go to breakfast without him.

Rather than sit with the other second years, his friends sat with YN and had even saved a spot next to her for him.

YN even handed him a breakfast sandwich.

"Eun Woo sunbae made it sound like you were going to miss breakfast so I put this together so you'd atleast have something before facing Snape" YN whispered shyly to Jungkook.

She looked so adorable, Jungkook had to resist the urge to squeeze her cheeks.

He looked at Eun Woo and gave him a smile, if his friend hadn't exaggerated, YN wouldn't have made him a breakfast sandwich.

Jungkook spent the rest of the day on a high. Not even Snape could bring him down.

After that day, his hyungs wouldn't leave him alone about introducing them to Kwon YN.

It really was chance that Jungkook saw her outside flying and manged to get the hyungs to follow him outside.

Though awkward, once introductions were done.

His hyungs made it a point to help YN and her friends out when they could.

Once he was actually talking to YN, Jungkook made it a goal of his to get her to call him Sunbae.

His plan was start small and then by the time they're dating she'd hopefully be comfortable calling him oppa.

He wasn't expecting her to call him sunbae at 3am in the morning after she'd come back from visiting home for her dad's first death anniversary.

The day itself had been chaotic to begin with. Harry Potter was stressed out, going crazy over what couldve happened to his sister.

Those outside of their circle and not in Gryffindor were so confused at Harry Potter losing it over Kwon YN.

Bangtan, had to give it up to YN and Harry for managing to keep the sibling bond they'd formed from getting out to the wider Hogwarts population.

However with Harry's freak out at breakfast that subsequently lead to Hermione, Ron and Sunghoon dragging him away from going to the head table and attacking Snape.

Since no one would tell Harry, he'd assumed that Snape in a fit of anger had decided to get rid of YN.

Thankfully Sunghoon explained where YN was to Harry and everyone assumed that Harry would calm down after that.

Unfortunately, Harry did not calm down. No one could understand what was going on in his brain. Hermione and Ron true best friends did stick by him.

However by the end of the day, they were ready to murder him. Jungkook didn't blame them, from the stories he'd heard of their day.

Jungkook would contemplate getting rid of the Boy Who Lived too. Knowing that YN would never forgive anyone if something happened to Harry while she was away.

After classes, Jungkook took Harry out flying and they had a chat about his behaviour, how it affected everyone around him, why he reacted in this way to YN being gone for the day.

All in all, it was a productive chat, Harry and Jungkook got closer and it kept Harry away from being killed by his best friends.

The fact Harry clung onto YN the minute she stepped into the Great Hall at dinner time, every single Gryffindor let out a sigh of relief.

Jungkook is pretty sure Hermione thanked some Hindu God while Ron was muttering about how much YN owes him for not unaliving the boy who lives.

It took the Weasley twins, Ron and Dean to pick Harry up to drag him away from YN and to bed. With Neville and Seamus making sure there was enough room for them to carry him up the stairs.

Finding YN, in the common room at 3am after he'd gone for a early morning snack run with V hyung and Jimin hyung wasn't expected.

Seeing her so upset, didn't sit right with Jungkook, the sparkle in her eyes was dim and that hurt him.

Getting her to laugh had been the aim, he wasn't even thinking about her calling him sunbae when she did.

Jungkook as expected, was on cloud 9. He was telling Jimin and Taehyung the story for the nth time in a few weeks when YN joined their table.

"Sorry there's no space anywhere else but I can totally move if you want me to" YN said as she put down her load of study materials and saw who was on the table.

Jimin and Taehyung shared a look between each other before smirking at YN.

"So little Lion, we hear that a certain someone has FINALLY been upgraded to sunbae..." Taehyung started to say.

"Any thoughts on that little Lion?" Jimin asked her.

Without missing a beat, YN turned to Jungkook.

"Jeon, what lies have you been spreading about me to our sunbaes? This is outrageous behaviour" YN said with a faux hurt voice.

Jungkook looked at her in shock. Sputtering he tried to defend himself but didn't get far as the 3 others on the table burst out laughing.

"Sorry Jungkook sunbae, it's too easy to make fun of you sometimes" YN said calming down from her laughter.

"I'll let it go this once but you really shouldn't make it a habit to make fun of your sunbaes Speedy" Jungkook said.

Deciding to be bold, he ruffled her hair after he finished talking. Laughing when YN huffed about having to fix her hair.

It was at the end of the year that Park Sunghoon took Jungkook by surprise.

Sunghoon still looked at Jungkook with suspicion even thought Jungkook had spent the year trying to be friends with him but nothing worked.

A day before the train back to London was meant to depart, Jungkook is dragged into an empty classroom by Sunghoon.

"Look sunbae, I don't care about whatever soulmate bs you think you have going on with YN. She's my lil sister and I will burn hell for her. So be prepared if she's ever hurt because of you. I will ruin your life, heir to an ancient and noble house won't save you." Sunghoon told Jungkook.

Jungkook thought about pointing out that Sunghoon and YN were the same age but with the glare he was getting from the younger man, he thought better.

"Look Sunghoon, I don't think YN is my soulmate, I know she is. And I'm going to do everything to be with her so while I appreciate the threats, I'm here for the long haul so you might as well get used to me brother dearest." Jungkook said with a smile, patting Sunghoons shoulder and walking out of the classroom.

"What in the name of Merlin do you mean by brother dearest!?" Sunghoon shouted as Jungkook left.

"When I marry your sister, you'll be my brother in law. And I obviously care about you so much brother dearest" Jungkook told Sunghoon.

Interlude: Changes in HP Canon

Summary: A push from her friends leads to Kwon YN trying to reconnect with her ex something Jeon Jungkook. Or the So Long Hogwarts Spin Off that took a life of its own.

Pairing: Jeon Jungkook x F!Reader.

Basically with all the changes I've made to HP, so that it doesn't bog down the next chapter, I'm just going to explain that here. This was meant to be short 😭😭.

Harry's first year adventure did happen as it does in canon. YN being around adds a worried sister at Harry's bed before he wakes up.

And Harry asks Dumbles what's going on, doesn't get a straight answer but Kwon YN isn't going to let that go.

So she makes it her mission to unravel whatever scheme Dumbles is cooking up.

Now since YN wrote the letter to her Eomma and connected Harry to his parents friends.

Mama Kwon, has been working overtime to free Sirius. She knows he would never betray his brother/sister in all but blood James and Lily Potter or risk the life of his Godson either.

So she uses her husbands Slytherin connections to get an audience with Narcissa Malfoy and takes Andromeda Tonks nèe Black with her.

Not only does Kwon Shinhye reunite the Black sisters but she convinces Lucius Malfoy to help her free Sirius Black.

Now by the time Hogwarts let's out for summer, Sirius is free and in therapy for what he's been through.

But he's bought the house next door to the Dursleys, cause Remus tells them that Dumbles will not let them take Harry away from his aunt and uncle.

Regardless of the abuse/neglect. He goes thru with them.

Using Malfoy connections, they kept Sirius being freed under wraps.

So it's a surprise to both Harry and YN when they get off the station.

Remus in his letters to Harry has been sending as many pictures of his parents that he had.

While YN is somewhat skeptical at why Sirius Black is with her Eomma, she decides not to say anything.

Harry being the careless idiot he is, seeing Remus runs to hug him.

YN has to run after the lil shit cause ofcourse he decides to run when she's saying good bye to her friends.

Should be noted that post end of year adventure, YN has become over protective older sister to Harry.

And being the overprotective sister, she gave Harry strict instructions to not leave her side but he doesn't listen.

In the chaos of all the families reuniting and friends saying goodbye. It takes YN a few minutes to find her Eomma again.

As she's about to storm their way and give Harry a lecture, a hand on her wrist stops her.

Turning, she sees Jungkook sunbae holding her wrist.

"You've been mother henning Harry too much Speedy. Let him have this okay without the lecture" Jungkook sunbae tells you calmly letting go of your wrist.

"Fine, but tomorrow he's getting a lecture abt running off when I told him to stick with me" you say annoyed but agreeing with Jungkook sunbae.

He smiles at you and then gives a wave before going off to find his family.

You wave at him when he turns to look at you before calmly making your way to your Eomma.

Giving her the tightest hug and whacking Harry for running off.

You turn to the men with your Eomma and raise an eyebrow at them, waiting for an introduction.

"Huh, Shiny, I thought you were kidding when you said she had Hyungsiks eyebrow lift expression" Sirius Black says but you say nothing, waiting for him to introduce himself.

Eomma laughs, shocking you because it's been so long since you've heard her laugh.

"When it comes to being skeptical about things, she takes after Hyungsik" Eomma explained.

"Well little miss Skeptical, I'm Sirius Black, Harry's godfather." Sirius said, ruffling Harry's hair affectionately.

Nodding your head, you turned to Remus and gave him a hug.

"Its good to see you uncle Moony" you told him as you stepped away, holding onto Eommas hand as you started to leave the station.

Now summer before second year, there's no Harry not getting letters cause of Dobby, my boy is getting therapy and healing.

Dumbles tries to get Harry to stay at the Dursleys but everyone refuses.

Second year happens as in canon. Malfoy didn't know what the diary was and only wanted Mr Weasley to get in trouble.

Knowing the truth, Malfoy joins with Mama Kwon, Sirius, Remus and friends to get rid of Moldie.

It's during second year that YN notices there's something going on between Sirius and her Eomma.

Sirius straight tells her that he's always been in love with your Eomma but she loved Hyungsik.

Eomma wants to give Sirius a chance but thinks she might be moving on too fast.

YN reassures her that if she wants to move on that is okay. Her daughter supports her.

Sirius and Shinhye get married in the summer once the kids are back from Hogwarts.

Everyone is invited, it's a fun time. After the wedding Sirius tells YN that he wants to name her his heir.

YN tells him to name Harry but Sirius says she's his daughter and she's already changing her surname to Kwon Black so why not be the Black heir too.

When we start chapter 4. Triwizard tournament is happening.

YN reluctantly agrees and is told she's gonna have lessons with various Heirs while she's at Hogwarts.

This starts properly in third year with making connections with all the purebloods in YNs year and above.

Then goes into 4th year with actual lessons on dealing with pureblood politics and all the rules that come with being the heir of an ancient and noble house.

Harry has already been chosen, first task hasn't happened yet and Ron after a few days and lectures from everyone sorted things out with Harry.

Being in Gryffindor, it was impossible to escape Jeon Jungkook. Though you didn't know him.

You had heard his name and seen glimpses of him around. He was popular and seen as a kind older classman, atleast that's what the other girls would tell you.

Harry after his first Quidditch practice couldn't stop praising him.

"Okay, Potter I get it. You're in love with Jeon Jungkook, now leave me alone I have this stupid Potions essay to finish" you said in frustration.

The silence after you said this had you looking up from your parchment. There standing behind Harry was the boy himself, Jeon Jungkook.

You held your breath, you didn't know how he would react and in your head you were planning your escape and apology when he replied.

"Well Harry, you can join my fanclub, there's a fair amount of guys there too and Kwon if you want, I can help with your essay." He said with an easy smile, ruffling Harry's hair like an older brother.

Before you could reply to him though. Sunghoon burst into the common room and dragged you away.

But as you were being dragged away, you turned to see Jungkook looking at you, an expression you didn't understand on his face.

After that brief interaction, it seemed like Jeon Jungkook was everywhere.

You didnt understand how you'd managed months without seeing him everywhere to him now practically being a part of your daily routine?!.

At breakfast, rather than sit with his friends, Jeon Jungkook brought his friends, the other Gryffindor secind years to your end of the Gryffindor table.

Where you sat with Giselle, Winter and Sunghoon. The rest of the house gave the 3 non Gryffindors a wide berth.

Not to exclude but Gryffindors weren't morning people and no one wanted to be rude by not making conversation.

It was at breakfast, that you found out Winter and Giselle knew Jeon Jungkook to the point the girls called him sunbae.

The same would happen at lunch and dinner, Jeon Jungkook and his friends would sit with yours.

Outside of lessons, the Potions study sessions that you'd started with Hermione. It was mainly a first year thing with the odd 4th or 6th year coming to help

However one session Jungkook and his friends from all other Gryffindor years came.

After which you were telling people the study sessions were full and give you their questions and you'll ask the older students.

This opened up the other older students to help the younger ones and it really made Gryffindor feel like a family. The older siblings helping the younger ones.

Unlike Hermione who absolutely detested flying. You didnt hate it.

Quidditch would never be a sport you cared about but being in the air flying was a freeing feeling that you loved.

It was one such moment that you met the infamous Bangtan boys.

You had gone flying after the Gryffindor teams practice, hoping that no other houses had reserved the pitch.

As you were flying around, you heard someone whistling and shouting your name. Looking down, you saw Jeon Jungkook waving at you.

Confused, you went down to him, seeing that he wasn't alone, you got off your broom.

"If I knew you were such a good flyer, would've recommended that you be the reserve seeker Kwon" Jungkook said smiling at you.

"No thanks, Quidditch isn't my thing, I'd rather just fly around for fun Jeon" you told him, before nodding at the other guys and starting to walk back to the castle.

"Hold on, I called you down to introduce the hyungs to you" Jungkook said pointing at the older students around him.

He didn't need to introduce them, everyone in Hogwarts knew about Bangtan, they'd made a name for themselves.

Each of them were known for something. Kim Seokjin Ravenclaw the oldest, head boy for this year and every year at Hogwarts Kim Seokjin had been voted most handsome male. A title he held with pride.

Min Yoongi Slytherin in his 6th year but he was making a name for himself in Alchemy.

Kim Namjoon Ravenclaw and Jung Hoseok Hufflepuff were both in 5th year.

Namjoon was probably the smartest student in Hogwarts while Hoseok was apprenticing with Madame Pomfrey in healing.

Park Jimin Hufflepuff and Kim Taehyung Slytherin were in their 4th year. It was rumoured that these 2 helped the Weasley twins pull off elaborate pranks.

These 7 were known throughout the school, so you didn't understand why Jungkook wanted to introduce them to you.

But you were polite, smiled and bowed before hurrying back into the castle confused but atleast now you could brag about meeting all 7 of Bangtan.

After meeting Bangtan, similarly to Jungkook being everywhere, you started to notice Bangtan everywhere too.

But this time Bangtan were around your friends. Min Yoongi had taken Giselle under his wing, now no one dared to say anything to her.

Namjoon was regularly helping Sunghoon, with his homework and social standing in Ravenclaw.

Hoseok and Jimin, took Winters ideas for the Hufflepuff common room and implemented them.

Jungkook after meeting his hyungs, became adamant that you should call him sunbae for all the help he's given.

Which he was helpful but in your mind, it wasn't really helping you individually but it was to help everyone.

Before you knew it. It was May and exams were close. Not just exams but your Appas first death anniversary.

You had permission to go home. You didnt realise how much you missed your Eomma until you saw her again.

After spending time with her, you were back at Hogwarts.

It wasn't until evening a few days later that it hit you. It's been a year without your Appa.

Unable to sleep, you left the first year girls dorms and went down to the common room.

Even though it was 3am, the fire was still burning. It was interesting to see the common room so quiet but that's what you needed after the day you had.

You didn't know how long you just sat looking at the fire when you felt someone sit next to you. Turning you saw Jungkook.

"So Harry was quite worried when you were nowhere to be found" Jungkook said as you looked at him.

"That was obvious with how he was clinging to me once I came back, I never realised how clingy he is until today" you replied shrugging before turning back to look at the fire.

"From his perspective, he wakes up and the girl that's become a sister to him is nowhere to be seen and no one know where she is until her best friend tells him that she's at home cause it's her dad's first death anniversary" Jungkook told you.

This explained Harry's behaviour once you came back. This did bring up another topic to discuss with your Eomma and Harry when it came to getting him into therapy.

"Thanks for keeping him calm, he told me that if it wasn't for you keeping him distracted, he would've been boy who lived no more with how much he was annoying everyone" you said turning to look at Jungkook.

"It was the least I could do, Granger and little Weasley came quite frustrated with how much they were done with Harry. I was doing them a favour" Jungkook said laughing.

It was in that moment you realised how nice of a laugh Jungkook had, it was almost musical.

"You were being a good sunbae, take the compliment Jungkook sunbae" you said smiling when you saw Jungkook sunbae stop at what you said.

"Seriously, making sure your pseudo brother isn't killed by his friends is all it takes to get a sunbae?!" Jungkook sunbae cried out indignant.

You couldn't help but laugh at his outraged behaviour. You knew he was being dramatic to get a reaction and you appreciated it.

After a day spent grieving with your Eomma, it felt great to laugh with your sunbae.

"Now that I've made you laugh, it's time for some shut eye. It's almost 4am" Jungkook sunbae said to you looking at his watch.

Acting on impulse, you gave Jungkook sunbae a hug, thanking him before making your way back to your dorm.

As you started to go up the stairs, you turned to look at Jungkook sunbae. Not expecting him to be looking at you.

With that expression you'd seen before but still didn't understand, seeing you stopping at the stairs, Jungkook sunbae made a shooing motion which made you laugh again.

Shaking your head, you made your way upstairs. Thankful that Jungkook sunbae had been the person to join you.
