that new sarah z video about fanfic is gonna annoy me, isn't it
#I usually like her stuff but I got a bit peeved that she feels the need to ask if fanfic is valid in 2022#I know she's doing it for the sake of ppl who might scoff at fanfic#But the tone of Omg is fanfic actually good you guys annoys me#Most of the fanfic I read is nine times out of then better than current mainstream published stuff#But oh no is fanfic truly art the video essayists ask#Yes it is! Fanfic is art#A lot of fanfic improves the source material#A lot of classical lit is and always has been fanfic#I guess it's good to have this convo again but it's the attitude that bothers me#Anyway I'm probably jumping the gun and the video is fine#But the initial title rly pissed me off cuz I think it was smth like is fanfic actually good?
