Look I know we normally use fanfic to fix like, major problems in canon or fulfill our wildest dreams or whatever. But can I please reject the specific piece of canon that there are no fish in the whole Great Sea?

#wind waker #loz wind waker #loz ww #seriously I know the Salvage Crew calls it a fishless sea but maybe they meant that area particularly had no fish #and the whole “illusory ocean” thing is just... incorrect #because what are these people eating if not fish #they have no farms #they have minimal fruit trees #I know the world is lightly populated but cmon yall they gota be eating something #and that something is fish #and I'm sure Gyorg and Big Octo are part of their diets but that can't be it #especially because how do they KILL those things? Orca is implied to be one of the most capable fighters and he's got a tiny little harpoon #plus they explode into purple if you kill them #let there be normal nonsentient nonevil fish
