Hey, I'm back

So I've been gone for a few months now. Me and my wife got out of a bad two-year relationship a little while ago, one that was largely responsible for making me withdraw from pretty much all social media and online presence. I was surviving, but it required me to be more emotionally absent, and it made extending myself beyond immediate contacts harder than I realized. Doing anything but working and gaming was so much more exhausting.

Only a few of you would even know that the relationship was happening because she refused to let us associate with her publicly, and the fact that her social network is so much larger than mine made me feel isolated after breakup and fallout. Me and my wife left because the relationship was hurting us, and we were villains for it. People cut us off after they heard her side of the breakup, but no one ever knew what that relationship did to me and my wife.

The point is it's over and we're moving on. I've started to feel like I can reclaim some of my space, both internally and online. I forget sometimes that I need to be making art, it's necessary for me to feel fulfilled. I have stories I want to tell, so I'm going to try to do that again.
