Interview - Jumin Han

Ah I can’t believe Jumin’s bday is TOMORROW (uh when I post this it’ll prob already be the 5th but oh well I’m writing this on the 4th). This is the fourth part of my collection of pregnancy one shots. Not gender neutral, hmu if you want that! I hope y’all are liking these :’)

Summary: the news wants to have an exclusive interview with the Hans before Baby Han is born. Jumin is so soft.

The technicians had been setting up in the living room for the past hour for your interview. Jumin was very insistent on the fact that if you were going to do this interview while being under the order of bed rest, they’d have to send the interview to your home. He had you lay in bed as someone applied your makeup and did your hair. He was, in summary, very extra. But he was just being protective of you and the baby; it made you smile.

He knocked on the door, opening it slowly. “You look beautiful,” he smiled, sitting on the other side of the bed so he could reach you, all the stylists gathering around you from your side of the bed. “How do you feel?” He asked, watching your nose twitch as the lady applied more powder to your face.

You glanced up at him, a smile on your face. “Bloated,” you retorted, placing your hand on your belly as though to signify your little angel was most certainly the reason you were feeling such a way.

He chuckled, bouncing off the bed and making his way to the closet. There, he pulled out a lavender dress. “I got this for you to wear today, if you want it.” It looked like an empire waist and rather flows, your favorite sort of attire lately. You didn’t like anything constricting your belly; you still got nauseous easily.

“Looks pretty,” you smiled. “You think I have to wear shoes?”

He looked at you, more fondly than you think you had ever seen him look. “I’ll make sure the camera angles don’t show your feet, how’s that?”

He left the room, likely to go discuss this change with the camera technicians, leaving you with the ladies who were just finishing up. “You look lovely,” one of them said. “I know you may not feel it, but you really do have that pregnancy glow.”

“I definitely don’t feel it,” you laughed. You had been miserable lately. You just couldn’t wait for this baby to come out. Only two more weeks. “But thank you. I do feel a lot better after getting made up like this.”

The two women smiled, leaving you to let you get changed. About that. You wiggled off your shorts in bed, then padded over to where Jumin had hung the dress. You weren’t fond of light colors, they really accentuated just how big you were, but people loved seeing the bump. Everyone was talking about the new Han baby; it was practically unavoidable. You unbuttoned your shirt and started to slide on the dress. Of course, it got stuck around your stomach and your butt. This happened every time.

Fortunately, your husband seemed to detect you needed help. He slipped in the room, surveyed you struggling, then made his way over, grabbing the fabric and slipping it up for you. He made it look so easy. “This is definitely a two person job,” you joked as he turned you around, hooking the back of the dress.

“I’m more than happy to help,” he turned you around, keeping his arms on your hips and kissing your forehead. “I got the camera thing situated. They’re ready for us whenever you are.”

You let out a breathy exhale then grabbed his hand, allowing him to lead you to the living room (after checking your reflection on the way out, of course). The tv host was situated on your lounge chair, arranged perpendicular to the sofa you and Jumin were to sit on. The lights were blinding and gave you a headache. Luckily, you sat down quickly, which helped your head stop spinning.

“Well don’t you look beautiful!” The host greeted, taking your hand to shake it. “It’s so nice to see you again. Now I want to remind you, this is all filmed in advance, so you can have a say in the editing process if there’s anything you want taken out. There’s no pressure at all.”

His words made you feel relieved. You and Jumin had an interview with him over a year ago after your wedding, so you were familiar with the process. It was nice going back to the same person; you felt more at ease. “Are you ready?” The man behind the camera asked the three of you. You nodded your head and Jumin grabbed your hand.

“Hello everyone. Today we’ve got a very special treat, Mr. and Mrs. Han are here today to give us an update on the baby because honestly? The whole country has baby fever over Baby Han, and they’re not even born yet. How’s your pregnancy treating you?” He asked, turning to face you.

“I wouldn’t trade it for anything but... it’s been challenging,” you admitted. “I’m lucky I’ve had Jumin by my side. You take so much for granted when you’re not pregnant: putting on your shoes, getting dressed, making food. None of which I can do without him now,” you joked, looking his way and smiling. Your PR chair emphasized that you should not talk about your extreme morning sickness or bed rest on the air: people may worry, stocks may fall. Keep it general, they encouraged.

“I’ve heard you’ve taken some time off to be with your wife, Jumin. Is that right?”

“Of course. It took a lot of long hours and preparation, but we were able to get everything done at the company so that I could take some time to take care of her and then the baby when it’s born.” He squeezed your hand. It was nice.

“Now I’ve noticed you two have been saying ‘they’ a lot. Do we know a gender for the baby?”

“Actually, we’ve decided to have it be a surprise,” you answered, glancing down at your belly.

“Is there a certain gender you’re hoping for?”

You laughed. “I’m hesitant to say. What if that’s not what we get, then in the future they find this interview? They’ll never let us live it down.”

The interviewer laughed as well: “I suppose that is only fair.”

Jumin, using a hand to shield his mouth from the camera, mouthed ‘girl’. You giggled. The interviewer smiled.

“I think that would be very fitting for the two of you,” he responded, keeping it vague so the audience was unaware. “So how are you feeling about the pregnancy thing? Are you ready to have another baby already or are you dreading the thought?”

You thought long and hard about it. Luckily, Jumin got to the answer first. “I don’t think we’d be able to give you a good answer until we’ve spent time with the baby first. Or gone through the labor.”

“Yes, if we thought the pregnancy was a challenge, I can’t imagine the labor,” you commented, feeling heat rise to your cheeks. Talking about childbirth just felt so... intimate.

“I’m sure I don’t even need to ask, but all is good between you two? You seem closer than ever to be honest.”

Jumin squeezed your hand. He answered the question, but looked at you the whole time. “It’s been nice to spend more time together. I fall in love with her more and more every day.”

If you weren’t flushed before, you definitely were now. “It really does feel like the honeymoon phase everyday, huh?” You asked.

You hadn’t realized all your attention was on Jumin until the interviewer was speaking again. “Now I have one more question. What will poor Elizabeth the 3rd do? Has she been adjusting to all these changes well?”

Upon hearing her name, Elizabeth roamed into the room, jumping onto the couch and making her way to settle into your lap. You used your spare hand to pet her. “She’s been needy for attention, but then again she always has.”

“I think she can detect that something is going on. She spends all of her time with her and none with me anymore,” Jumin mentioned. It was true. Elizabeth stayed by your side most of the time, curling up next to you in bed all hours of the day.

“Well you have good training to be parents with a cat like her,” the interviewer smiled. “Thank you so much for joining me today. I can’t believe that the next time we talk Baby Han will be in this world.”

“Thank you,” you smiled, “we can’t wait.”

And with that, you had concluded your last social event before you were due. It was such a relief. And what did you plan to do to celebrate? Jumin helped you up from the couch, and after saying goodbye to the people in the living room, helped you to the bedroom where he drew a (lukewarm) bath for you. He sat by your side the whole time, whispering excitedly about the baby, the progress of the nursery, how he had booked the best labor doctor to be with you, and just his general hopes for your child. You couldn’t wipe the smile off your face, letting his soothing voice lull you to sleep.

so her parent’s story was actually a pretty big scandal in the 90′s ! basically theo’s mom was the pretty famous front woman of a band ( think stevie nicks in fleetwood mac ) who was long engaged to the guitarist of that same band....until one day it was announced she was quitting the group and starting her solo career, leaving her fiance, and signing to a new label.....which was run by theo’s father, a young up & coming producer taking over the family business. not even three months later theo’s mom releases her first solo album, produced and co-written by theo’s father, basically detailing this years long affair the two had been having... in a series of really catchy, moving, and wildly successful songs. 

the public went crazy over the drama, especially when rumors started circulating ( through detailed analysis of the lyrics to all of theo’s mom’s solo songs ) that the well known band had actually been quite toxic. basically it was enough to convince media outlets and fans alike to forgive theo’s parents for being cheaters and breaking up the band JSDBWBDJWBD. by the time theo was born in the last year of the iconic decade that launched both her parents into stardom, everyone couldn’t be happier the two stars were getting the happy life they deserved <3

so here comes baby theo.....and the world kind of just immediately labels her as america’s sweetheart. her mom had some minor health issues which just meant it would be safer to not have anymore kids after theo, so not only was she this little angel to the public, she was also her parent’s little miracle baby ! lets just say she had some big shoes to fill bc of all the expectations ..

luckily no one had to worry abt her being a demon child JSBDJWDWJ because she turned out to be a very sweet kid ! she was a HUGE daydreamer since she spent a lot of time alone growing up </3 her mom had retired from singing and was now helping theo’s dad run the label, and the two of them were always busy looking for new talent to sign. she didn’t have any siblings and although she had a really attentive nanny it just .. wasn’t the same ?? so to #Cope JSBDWBSBDJW theo was always creating these super elaborate little fantasy worlds. it wasn’t uncommon for u to find her deeply engrossed playing barbies alone like she had scripts and everything 

by the time she was a preteen her parents were both really pressuring theo into thinking about a singing career, so wanting to please them ( and knowing that it was something she was kinda into anyway ) theo said ok sure ! and that’s where.....things start to take a turn. since she was so young she had this very very clean, innocent, cute image ( think disney stars ) & most of the music she was making was used for kids shows or movies. she didn’t really mind it so much but she noticed that her creative process wasn’t really valued ? or taken very seriously by her parents, because in their eyes like that’s their kid you know she’s still young, she’s always had her head in the clouds, they just really didn’t think it was a big deal if they took control. 

so theo put up with it, but the years kept going by, she kept getting older, and nothing was really changing. she still had a squeaky clean image, little say in the type of music she was making, but on the outside everything looked great. the public loved her, she was a role model for kids ( even though she was a teenager now ), it was all perfect.....until it wasn’t. when she was 16, she had a scandal akin to the vanessa hudgen’s nude photo leak, except it wasn’t as explicit ( not a nude, just a suggestive pic ) and it was way way worse considering theo was a minor. 

legal action was immediately taken by her parents, but once something’s out there you can’t really stop it from circulating, so the photos existed, just not on any official media sites. it was traumatizing for theo having her privacy breached like that, especially because instead of talking about how disgusting it was that someone would leak those photos when she was just a teen, gossip sites & fans alike were too busy talking about how her image was ruined. since she’d had such a clean, innocent reputation, people kinda forgot that... she was an actual person going through life growing up, and that she wasn’t perfect. 

theo, being the optimist she is, was like hey you know what? this is my chance to stop making music i dont love. after what was probably her first truly honest convo with her parents, they agreed she should be free to figure herself and her art out. so for the remainder of her teenage years theo fell off the face of the music world....

only to pop back up in the modeling one ! like most celebrities, social media had a big say in this. since reputation wasn’t something theo had going for her anymore, what she did have was a hell of a following still and two famous parents ( not to mention ... shes tall JSBDJWBDWJ ) she did maybe one runway show before deciding she hated that. tbh she hated any modeling that felt too constricting, which is why she never ended up doing anything for big names & mostly does stuff for foreign brands & magazines. 

she liked how much aesthetics had to do with modeling, and to some extent being a part of shoots satisfied that creative itch she had, but music was always her first love. theo really wanted to go back and revisit it, but she was scared the public’s reaction wouldn’t be what she hoped /: 

so following in her mother’s footsteps, theo’s re entrance into the music scene was an ep ( 100% written, produced, edited, you name it, by her ) she released on the eve of her 18th bday basically explaining everything she went through with art. it was only four songs + an interlude, which would become the most talked about part of the whole thing because it was snippets of various reporters talking about that photo leak.

the public had mixed feelings ! unlike with what happened with her parents, not everyone was ready to “forgive” theo. and since she hadn’t done any promo for her music, or for her career as an artist independent from her parent’s famous label, it wasn’t like she was making crazy money and getting all this recognition. but !! she was insanely insanely happy, and that’s when she realized making music wasn’t something she did for other people, just something she liked to share, so what did it really matter if she could be more famous if she was an artist under her parent’s label ? 

cue present day theo, model & singer, although the labels are pretty loose. although her music is getting way more recognition than it did three years ago, she’s still trying to do things independently from her parents, and she still has yet to become a chanel ambassador or anything crazy SDWBKWKFW. because of that she’s kind of garnered this new reputation for herself as one of those celebs that don’t really feel like celebs, like maybe she’s just like u except let’s be real she’s rich and her experiences are NOT universal even if her cute insta pic talking about ~her feelings~ in the caption makes u think they are

not even gonna lie to u guys....she is baby. i dont mean that in a uwu shes 20 but im gonna weirdly make her act like a child way im not a freak shes just baby ! like i mentioned earlier theo was a HUGE daydreamer growing up, and tbh she still is except now that’s she’s older her overactive imagination can kinda get her into trouble. a good example of that is the fact that since she’s so keen to see the silver linings in life and the bright sides, she can neglect the bad sides of people and situations so things still fit into her romanticized vision /: this was the cause for many heartbreaks in theo’s life, and she’s still guilty of doing this although she’s trying to work on it !

very much the kind of person to treat everyone like a friend ( that means strangers too ) until you prove you should be treated otherwise. it takes a lot for her to not fuck with you, so if she doesn’t like you then you probably did something to deserve it /: she’s always had a curious personality as well so it’s really easy for her to connect with people just because she’s constantly fascinated by what she doesn’t know about a person. sometimes it can make ppl uncomfortable just how casually she can have a deep convo, but she just never had that filter where she has to know you for 5 years before she opens up about her trauma </3 you know how when bp’s rose and red velvet’s joy had dinner for the first time rose made joy cry bc she was talking abt her family and stuff ? JSDBWBDW theo is rose ... she’s out there sharing trauma deepening that bond day 1 of knowing you baby !  🤧

despite all that she’s still kind of maintained this elusive air to her? it’s not like she does it on purpose, or like no one knows the real her, it’s more like just when you’ve learned one new thing about her you realize there’s that many more things you don’t know. it also doesn’t help the fact that she’s constantly romanticizing everything, most of all herself, so she’s really crafted this “dream girl” persona without fully realizing it. im not exaggerating when i say john green wants what she has </3 

a lot of times people see her as naive, not because she often sees the good in people or anything like that ( although she does ), but because she has this overwhelming sureness that everything works out in the end. to be fair though, for her, things usually do. call it good karma, luck, whatever you want, but the fact of the matter is even when it looks like there’s no way a situation can turn out well for her, somehow it does. it’s a healthy combination of money, privilege, and a charming personality but to theo it’s proof that she’s right.

naturally.....as an air sign JSBDJWBJWBD she’s a huge flirt ! the media’s always linking her to someone because she really makes it seem like she’s dating half of hollywood when the reality is she’s just being friendly. when she actually likes someone it kind of turns into a huge deal like she gets infatuated with her crushes, swears she’s in love — and then poof. one day she wakes up & realizes she’s kinda over it ... until the next person comes along of course <3

CHILDHOOD / FAMILY FRIENDS: their famous parents were friends, so it’s only natural they wanted their kids to be friends too. just imagine the stories ..... the memories .... maybe they got along really well and are still friends today ! or maybe theo pushed your muse off of the swings ( she claims it was an accident ) and your muse never forgot and to this day they’re sworn enemies.....</3 or less dramatic......they just drifted apart and now it’s like hey we used to be so close aha thats awkward let me just smile at you and walk away ....

LIKE SIBLINGS: someone who sees theo as a sister, and who theo considers her unofficial sibling. most likely she’s gonna bother the shit out of this person as siblings do but they really mean a lot to her because it’s the family she never had /: 

CONFIDANTS: the one person theo keeps finding herself talking about the things she usally keeps inside with. i think it’d be funny if both of them find it weird to do things like go out to lunch or shop together because that’s not what they’re used to !

ACQUAINTANCES: friends who are only really friends when both of them are wasted or friends who only comment heart eye emojis and fire sign emojis under each others insta posts but don’t actually talk much for whatever reason

FRIENDS THAT DATED: maybe things just ended amiably between them, or maybe it’s like an “everyone told us we should date so we tried it and boy was that the weirdest thing we ever did” situation. either way the outcome is they’e still friends <3

CAHOOTS: what is this u may ask ? someone theo can be in cahoots with. she has a dumb idea that no one else is likely to say yes to? she goes to ur muse. ur muse has an idea no one in their right mind would say yes to? they go to theo. these two are in cahoots !  

BAD INFLUENCE: although that america’s sweetheart reputation is gone, overall theo is still seen as a “good girl” by the public. she’s not one to be in a lot of scandals so i think it’d be really fun if your muse is corrupting that ( whether they’re doing it on purpose or not ) and whenever theo’s with them she just somehow always manages to end up in trouble. 

THE BIG EX: theo’s first real relationship, and first real heartbreak. everyone before them had been an infatuation, but your muse was the real deal. maybe the media ruined it, or they ruined it themselves by being too scared of their feelings to stick around, or maybe one of them was willing to try but the other wasn’t. either way it ended badly, and whether those feelings are resolved or not....thats a secret i’ll never tell x

SUMMER FLINGS: give me past & current ( or maybe even recurring ) summer flings where they both know it’s temporary but boy is it fun while it lasts. google their names together and you’ll find paparazzi snapshots on the backs of vespas, on million dollar yachts, holding hands in museums or sunbathing on the beach but by the time fall comes creeping in the romance is over. 

HOOKUPS: friends with benefits and it’s not awkward between them, friends with benefits and it’s super weird between them because they may be crossing over into real feeling territory, one night stands / hookups that were huge mistakes, one night stands or hookups that were or are being kept secret from the rest of the roses for whatever reason, someone who leads theo on but never gets serious about her, or someone she leads on but she never gets serious about, her go-to hookup on a night out when she’s partying, etc. 

WILL THEY WON’T THEY: a friendship that always teeters on the line of something romantic ! maybe they’re both oblivious to the chemistry / tension or maybe they’re aware of it because they get jealous when they hear about the other being with someone else… maybe they refuse to do anything about it because they don’t want to complicate things or maybe they purposefully cross lines when they feel that jealousy…..could be more angsty or it could be more wholesome depending on which way it goes 😈

ARTIST TO ARTIST: i don’t think .... we have any other singers / ppl in the music industry but i could for sure be wrong JSBDSJBDJWD but ! i still would love to have people theo’s worked with before. maybe if your muses has been acting since they were little, theo could have mingled with them back when she was doing music for kids shows & movies. maybe your muse is a model and theo and them have done shoots together before. maybe theo’s written a current song for a movie / tv show your muse was a part of. maybe your muse is a model and theo asked them to feature on the cover of one of her albums. maybe she hired your muse to act in the music video of one of her songs ! maybe your muse can also sing even though that’s not their main thing and theo’s asked them to feature on a song with her. there are soooo many possibilities that could be lots of fun <33

MISC: “we used to party together all the time until that one thing happen that neither of us talk about and now we don’t do that anymore”, someone who took care of drunk theo once and ever since then she’s taken that as an open invitation to knock on your muse’s door at 3 am completely wasted, “we tried to date but the paparazzi caught us on a date and we were too scared / sick of the public eye so we never got far”, flirty friends who say no i’d never sleep with you haha…unless you’re down?, your muse was theo’s first time OR theo was your muse’s first time, stereotypical happy go lucky and grumpy relationship where the grumpy muse pretends not to enjoy the other’s presence, enemies but it can’t be anything petty it would have to be pretty serious so if u want that drama....

But none of that ever prepared him for the flash of the King’s smile and the smoothness of his voice as he welcomes Yuuri as his new chief of security. None of that ever prepared him for the sparkle in the King’s eyes when he laughs, or the way his nose twitches a little when Yuuri makes a move in chess he doesn’t like, or the way the snowflakes entangle in his now-short silvery hair like little stars when they’re skating together on the canals behind the Winter Palace. 

“Yuuri, lift me!” chirps the King, his cheeks flushed from the cold, his mittened hands clapping together like a child on Christmas morning. Yuuri obliges, delighting in the way the King laughs, breath fleeing him in peals of bell-like mirth. His heart races even long after he’s set the King back down, and the man is dangling over his shoulder asking for more. 

So he obliges again, and then spins him in a dance right after, and it is worth everything in the world – every sacrifice he had to make to get to where he is now – just to watch the wonder spread all over the King’s face like ice crystals on water. 

The King tires after a while, and insists on pulling Yuuri back with him to his apartments where he’ll make hot chocolate for them both. Yuuri offers to ring up the housekeeper for hot chocolate instead but the King laughs and shakes his head, saying he wouldn’t dream of bothering her and besides, he can make himself a goddamn cup of hot chocolate, Mr Katsuki, he’s not completely useless. But his words fall a little short of the reality, when the King proves just a little helpless at heating up milk in a little saucepan in the little kitchen tucked back in his apartments, and Yuuri has to help him by showing him the skin forming on the surface of the milk that shows that it’s heating up.

It’s in this moment, when he’s watching Viktor Nikiforov studiously stirring hot chocolate mix and marshmallows into the concoction he’s brewing, when he’s watching him lick at his lips to get rid of his new milk moustache, that he wishes for the first time that the man he’d fallen for so many years ago wasn’t a king. Granted, Viktor being just Viktor Nikiforov would mean there’s a chance they’d never meet, but wouldn’t it have been easier to love a man than to love a king? 

“You seem thoughtful,” remarks Viktor, pouring Yuuri another mug of hot chocolate. “Something the matter?”

Yuuri feels his cheeks heat up. “It’s nothing,” he says. “Don’t worry, Your Majesty.”

Viktor hums around his mug, his eyes just as pensive and downcast, and Yuuri feels like a traitor for ever wishing that this man was not who he was born to be.

and… that got kinda sad. so number three as well:

“When did you first fall in love with me?” Viktor asks. They’re lying in bed together, golden rings still glinting on their fingers. Yuuri has refused to take his off ever since the wedding all those months ago. 

Wedding.

Sometimes he still wonders if he’s dreaming. 

He shifts a little, turns to look at Viktor. No longer the King, now – his ward was crowned just this morning, and it’s still a little surreal. He’s still His Majesty, but now he’s His Majesty the King Father, and for some reason the title suits him better, nestles into the lines on his face and the wrinkles on his brow like a gentle veil. A breath taken after years of carrying a country on his shoulders. 

“Years ago,” he says after a moment, one finger tracing along Viktor’s collarbone. “You were still Crown Prince then.”

Viktor’s eyes twinkle. “That long?” he asks, his voice still a little hoarse from activities earlier in the evening. Yuuri hadn’t really pegged the King – well, the King Father – of Petersburg as a screamer. The maids are probably having a field day. 

He nods. “I’d always wanted to stand beside you.”

“And look where that’s gotten you.” Viktor laughs, nuzzling against Yuuri’s cheek. “My treasure. My protector. Here I thought I was the first one to fall.”

“When would that have been?” asks Yuuri, a little breathlessly. His body feels warm, tension curling deep in his gut with the touch of his husband (and if that isn’t the strangest and sweetest title of all)’s lips against his skin.

“When you saved me,” replies Viktor.

“I’ve done that several times.”

Viktor laughs. “You have. But that’s not what I’m talking about.”

Yuuri hums, tracing his fingers idly up Viktor’s forearm. Viktor has spent so many years of his life unable to truly experience everything the world could have offered him. Forced to put on a facade alongside his suit every morning, forced to smile and carry on even when it’s obvious to everyone close to him how close he is to unravelling. How his duty to the country he’d been born to rule and raised to love is strangling him. Now he is no longer King, no longer the sun around which every aspect of Petersburg must revolve. He can breathe easier now, and just be Viktor Nikiforov.

Viktor Nikiforov, husband. Yuuri presses a kiss to the ring on his husband’s fourth finger, fingers idly tracing the small indents in the inside edge of the metal band that mark the placement of the engraving inside. Two halves of a snowflake, only whole when reunited. It had been Viktor’s suggestion, shortly after their wedding, and just the thought of it makes a lump rise in Yuuri’s throat again. 

“You are more than I could have ever wished for,” he murmurs, and feels Viktor’s responding chuckle against his lips.

“And you are the treasure I never wish to let go,” Viktor replies, pressing a kiss to where Yuuri’s heartbeat flutters. Yuuri laughs, moving to straddle him and return his kiss.

“Want to give the maids something to gossip about?” he asks. 

Viktor grins. “My love, you’re too devious,” he teases, punctuating it with a moan when Yuuri bites down along his neck. The tension burns brighter inside Yuuri at that.

“That deviousness has saved your life countless times, Your Majesty.”

His reward is the beautiful peal of Viktor’s laugh. “Then I’ll defer to your good judgement, Mr Katsuki,” he says.

Yuuri kisses him. “That’s Mr Katsuki-Nikiforov now,” he breathes, and bites down a giggle when Viktor’s pupils dilate at the very notion.

Viktor surges up, cupping the sides of his face. “I love the sound of that,” he purrs, and before Yuuri can react, his husband is kissing him senseless, and there is nowhere else in the world Yuuri would rather be than here.

OKAY sooo I'll keep this first one brief. My tribe is pretty cool. I love Jared, I'm a little bit worried though because 1) he knows I'm a snake and will be scared of me and 2) he'll prob be able to know I'm friends with Ashley, but otherwise, he's my number 1 on this tribe and my favorite person in the cast other than ash. Like I'm so blessed to be with him and I don't think he'd turn on me yet since we'll be loyal. This Nicole girl seeemd cool in her vid then never messaged me back. Dylan seems nice but I think he might have been in bermuda or somethin LOL i've def played with him before and have no clue from what.... Sammy is cool, know him from before. And then uhhh that weird kid who had a three second vid, I hope he's out first. Ashley is on the red tribe I think? I LOVE HER she's literally my best ORG friend and she hasn't played in forever. Hope we get to a swap or merge without her doing something dumb first akhfdj. Patrick seems familiar I know he's old school and won HOS so that's cool. Eve seems cool never played with her but is that the same eve that does the challenge minis bc if so she knows im gonna pop off. Keaton good. Isaac good lol although I'm scared he'll come after me bc one time in his confessionals for a game we were in (i think indonesia?) eh talked about how big of a threat I was oops. maybe ashley will get him out for me LOL. and that austin guy seems cute, second game only awww. Okay so- Howdy! This is your cowboy speaking. I am going to go over my general strategy for the game and what I have done so far. I want to play a very physically/socially-centered meathead kind of game- a James Clement if you will. I want to try and win every challenge that I participate in and if we lose, I want to have 1 alliance with the strongest players that I will be 100% unwaveringly loyal to. Pretty basic stuff. So my alliance is with Owen and Sammy, which oddly enough- the last 2 Big Brother games I played, they were the people who got me out, respectively. Owen/Dana/Quill in BOTS and Sammy in Legacy3. So it's a risky group but this is the strategy that I outlined for myself so I'm gonna stick to it. They will be my F3 and I will literally ride with them until the wheels fall off. Until the hooves fall off, in western speak. I have no clue if they will be loyal to the end or try to target me on some point, but I have to try to keep them from eating the apple, because I'm not going to flip as my one-dimensional gameplan will not allow that! I confirmed with both of them that this is a trio they are good with, and the Pika-Dudes were born. I think it would be pretty rewarding for me if I could actually get them to stick together and make it to the end. But they could have other alliances on this tribe and vote me out this round for all I know, but so far my perspective is that they seem loyal Lastly, I suggested that we do the song "Before He Cheats" for the challenge, and that's the first time a tribe has ever taken my suggestion for the song, so I'm happy with that. I'll check back in if we lose the comp :)

okay so first confessional...honestly I am super excited to play with some of the people in this game. But I am just gonna talk about the challenge right now, umm so it's a music video which means.....hosts hate me...because I am always the one having to edit:,( okay so everyone got their videos to me finally except Nicole sent one vertically after I clearly said "@all plz film horizontally" so I just said bippity boppity bye. She seems sweet though and I don't want her to go anywhere soon. Omg yay!!!! We are safe for first tribal which I love. I'm starting to form pretty good bonds with issac,eve,and ashley so hopefully I can get it to where we all link up together for some kind of alliance.

Well so far it seems that Aidan, Chloe, Nick and I are in same mind set of voting off Payton. We shall see if it actually goes through. It’s really sad Bc the judges are all biased so now we have to vote someone out. Editing isn’t easy at all DX. I’m so sorry Payton if you’re do get voted out. You should move to the us to survive a bit longer ;-;

So my back’s been killing me all day. I thought it was from sleeping funny but clearly its from carrying this damn tribe.

This weekend was so flipping busy. I'm trying to get caught up at work before vacation and Matthew is here. I don't feel like I've gotten to bond with my tribe much. I'm glad to see Dylan A. We've not really gotten to play together much because he always gets voted out early in games we play but I don't think he will come for me and he's a bigger target than I. I like my tribe a lot. Jared is really funny and Sammy kicked butt in the challenge. I've talked to Owen a tad. I'm glad we didn't lose because I deserved to go home. I didn't get back from Erica's bday thing until 4 and then it wouldn't let me use the song I bought some it is copyrighted so I only had 30 sec then I couldn't get it to film horizontal. I'm a big ol mess. Yeeeeeeehaaaaaaw! 😂

Whew okay so I don't know anyone on my tribe (kinda) which is good but also a bit scary since its just 6 of us. Overall, I feel like everyone's a bit quiet and not too talkative. That being said, they might be talking a bunch in PMs. Right now, I am trying to stay under the radar and just be friendly with everyone. I really like Austin, Eve and Patrick right now. Keaton and Isaac are nice too but I dont really talk to them as much. If we would have lost this first immunity challenge I would have definitely wanted to vote for one of them. No official alliances yet but its still early so I think its okay. THANK FUCKING GOD WE WON. Okay well, we got 2nd but thats a win in my eyes. I just really hope I make it to jury and I will be happy so not being first boot is GREAT. Im trying to get this damn idol but I cant catch a fucking break and my ass keeps getting zapped... I dont think anyone has gotten the idol yet so I hope i get lucky and somehow get to it first. Here is how I see everyone as of right now: Austin: Probably my fave right now and hoping I can get into a f2 with him. He's funny and sweet and I feel like we get along and its pretty easy to talk to him. Eve: Eve is iconic! Want to work with her but I feel like she is really social so she might be a threat later on. Pat: Same as Eve, even though I just met him, I actually have known about him before since he is friends with some of my friends. I know he does good in games so he is someone I would like to see leave a bit sooner since I think he will be hard to get rid of later. But hes amazing and his video for the music video was ICONIC. I can see him and I becoming friends for sure. Keaton: Not much to say, I do know keaton from playing a game with him in the past but he was voted out first I think and then I hosted him in HOS but i wasnt super active in that one :) Anyway, I feel like we dont have much to talk about so I need to make more of an effort with him. I really wouldnt care to see him go tbh but who knows, this can definitely change if we start talking more. Isaac: omg okay so night one I go into everyones PMs to say hi and i notice that I already had messages with him which I found super weird because I didnt know who he was but I guess we kind of got into it like 3 years ago??? I told him I didnt remember this but i do. He was basically an asshole to me for no fucking reason. But this was 3 years ago so i really dont care so I hope he doesnt try to target me over it. He seems nice I guess but I havnt really talked to him much. In his defense he has been sick apparently but if we would have gone into this first TC I would have wanted to see him voted out first for sure.

Confessional 1: So right off the bat I talk a lot to everyone but Payton but my main issue is he’s probably not going so I’m gonna need to vote out someone I genuinely like right away. I think I’m decently connected and unless these guys are pulling off the best blindside ever I think I might possibly be semi safe??? Its been a fun couple of days, im talking to my tribe and just feeling them out. Im very happy I don't have a history with any of them so I can just relax and start a clean state. Am I disappointed with my tribe? No. Am I disappointed with the outcome? Yes. I'm not a fan of these subjective challenges because the criteria literally changes everytime and all the judges (who are usually unqualified, uneducated and underemployed) seem to like to harp in on the most random shit like- I can't. And the fact that I, someone who never edited a fucking video before, had to do that shit just shows how useless my tribe is overall. Either useless or lazy but either way... I'm predicting a Matsing performance from this tribe. Why the fuck did I get placed here? So far people are fine but I don't /love/ anyone. Maybe I could put in more effort but like Chloe/Nick/Vi all seem fine and fun but like nobody I'm too connected with yet. I'm sure it'll come. Chloe and I seem to have the most similar personality but something tells me she's like connected idk. I don't see her going far with me. I see Nick/Vi being loyal though. Payton and Cas are like fine I guess but afaik they're the ones on the chopping block because of minimal socialization.
