The majority of the TTS fandom seems to be a bit Varian-centric, at least that’s what mostly shows up on my feed. And I’m fine with that, he’s one of my favorite characters, I love to see it. But, can you guys recommend me some Eugene and/or Rapunzel or New Dream centric blogs? Preferably still active. I love Eugene, he’s also my favorite character and I love Punzie, and I feel like I don’t get to see them as much.

fan favoritism is a problem and i wish more people would talk about it
am i bitter about not being invited to miley's event tonight? i mean...yah, a bit. but im far from the only person not invited and this is part of a bigger problem.
in 2016, i had tickets to a liv and maddie taping that ended up getting cancelled. these tickets were free but usually required multiple hours of refreshing the website to obtain. i was prepared to skip a vacation to go to this taping but since it got cancelled, i went on the vacation anyway. while on said vacation, on the night the taping was supposed to happen, i saw on twitter that some individual fans had been invited to set that night and i was heartbroken. there may have been no correlation between that happening on the same night as what was supposed to be a taping available to everyone, but the impression i got was that just because these fans were well known on twitter meant that they got to go to the set of the show even though the general public was supposed to be able go that same night (again, after fighting tooth and nail to get tickets.) i spent the night feeling like i wasn't a good enough fan for dove.
last month, miley had an event in new york where fans, mostly from twitter i believe, were handpicked to go. im not saying that these people aren't necessarily big and deserving fans, but some of a celebrity's biggest fans may not be involved on twitter at all, and i'm not just talking about myself. in my case tho, i have too much social anxiety to be on there, should i be made to feel bad for having such anxiety and not get a chance to go to events like this? it feels like a punishment.
for tonight's event, people got invited by using a snippet of easy lover on tiktok, which was slightly better given that people could actually shoot their shot, but it still lead to plenty of people being ignored, be it due to the algorithm, their video not being "good enough," or whatever.
in miley's case, she doesn't feel capable of touring anymore, which i fully respect and understand, and the fact that she's still finding ways to interact with fans in person knowing that not touring potentially takes that opportunity away makes me very, very happy. but i hope more opportunities come up that don't have to do with social media clout. it makes me even more upset to see people there that have already seen/met her multiple times before when there are plenty of people who have never seen/met her who also deserve to be there. i don't mean to complain given that i JUST saw her, it's less about that and more about the concept of these events. i've seen a lot of praise for this angle of connecting with your real fans instead of rich people/celebs/etc and i do think its a very good idea in theory!!! but i'm sure there are other ways it can be done, even while continuing to avoid the often unaffordable prices that concerts entail. tickets like they do for live tapings, like i had for jimmy kimmel, i think could be a great angle, bc they're free and are more of a lottery system, so it's entirely random who gets picked, not just whoever is the most popular on stan twitter or whatever.
nights like tonight make me feel like i'm not doing enough as a miley fan. if i didn't get a ticket for something in a lottery system-type scenario, sure, i'd still be bummed, but i would know i had done all i can do. this is the type of effect this sort of angle can have on neurodivergent people and i'm sure i'm not the only one.
also, for the record, i don't blame miley for this at all, nor do i blame dove or anyone else who has been involved in this sort of thing happening before. i don't think they're always aware of the impact it can have on those left out, and in many cases, it's their team doing it rather than them (and their team may not even be aware of the impact either.) not to mention in the case of liv and maddie tapings, i once got to tell some of the cast how cutthroat the lines could get and they hadn't been aware of that at all.
i have millions of other problems with this whole concept, past experiences, etc. but i'll leave it at that for now lol

If you use Spotify/Apple Music and have Wrapped, does your number one song correlate to any of your ocs? If not, why is it your number one? Vibes, lyrics, etc? - 🖤
Well, my number one song was Espresso, but I mostly blame that on the algorithm and how it kept getting recommended to me (still a jam tho).
I remember listening to it a lot when I was on holiday this year and thinking about Melody (Melinoe x Cody). I had just watched this really cute OC animatic and was basically imagining my own version over and over again during a boat ride.
Here's the tik tok if anyone's curious
