He bought the small notebook from his pocket and took a moment, as he had many a time now, to flip through it. It still looked like hauntingly familiar gibberish and he puzzled as Danni flouted up to his shoulder, reading over it. “Well, if I can ‘ghost speak’, why cant I read this…?” Danni just shrugged at him, far more preoccupied with the book. “You’d have to ask Danny about that one. You’ve got some kinda core, I can sense it, buuut I don't have that

whole ‘forbidden knowledge’ schtick Danny dose” she sighed, air quoting the last bit.

“Forbidden knowledge?”

Apparently shrugging was Danni's favorite expression because she did it again, puffing her cheeks out as she did. “Something about how he ‘walks perfectly on the balance’ and ‘has passed through the eye of time’ or something” she quoted someone, making an impression Jason might actually liken to him mocking bruce. Whoever Danni was impersonating, she had amused herself with it, giggling in the air.
