Vox HCs #4: Theories about how he works like biologically

Cw: Sfw - but discussion about non-sexual anatomy type stuff

A/N because I've thought way too much about the logistics of him and robotic/tech demons and how they work/could work way too much. 💀 These are just some of the things I've thought about

- The main thing I see people wondering about is his face and how he drinks stuff, kisses people, etc.

- I think that the screen of his face is a full screen in its resting state, but he can influence the way it kind of functions/presents. ie. Manipulating the area around his mouth so he actually does have a mouth and its not just a projection on his screen.

- I don't think his mouth is a constant actual 3 dimensional thing though and is rather something he can change at will whenever he sees fit.

- If you were to touch it just in casual day to do life, his mouth would just be the screen / 2d.

- Also, I don't think his mouth feels like a normal mouth. If you were to kiss him I feel like his lips would not feel exactly like normal lips, and that his lips and tongue would kind of have that kind of static electricity sensation to them.

- Like if he were to lick you, I feel like you'd get that kind of static electricity sensation that makes your hair stand on its end.

- I'm not too sure about the rest of his face though. Maybe he can manipulate the rest of his face to become more 3 dimensional, but I don't think he would do it often as it's not necessary.

- Due to him being seen drinking during season 1, I think it's safe to assume that the way his internal functions are designed are relatively similar to normal humans.

- I believe he'd also have a somewhat similar body system as well. However, it just would be like metal parts, wires and artificial stuff underneath his skin rather than actual muscle, veins, ligaments, organs, bodily fluids, etc. Etc. That mirror those bodily systems.

- Having said that though, I do think parts of him are sensitive to being damaged by water. He may be just fine drinking water and liquids, but if they got in his ports (like on the back of his head), that would be bad.

- Because he prides himself on being up to date tech wise, he'd likely be waterproofed to a degree, but it still wouldn't be good. I can imagine him being damaged by it and bluescreening and forcefully shutting down to prevent any further damage to his less human reminiscent systems. (Do you think he lays down in rice when that happens? 💀)

- Also, I do not think he technically needs to eat or drink stuff. Judging by the fact he can plug into things (like how in the Stayed Gone video he plugs into all the computers and stuff), I think his main energy source would actually be charging using electrical wires and stuff.

- I think that him eating and drinking is just a preference of his, and that other demons who are similar to him wouldn't need to eat or drink. He can still get energy that way, but it's less efficient and more of just a preference/reminiscent of his past life as a human that he's held onto all this time.

- I also don't think he really 'sleeps' in the traditional sense or needs to sleep? He can likely regain power that way, but he wouldn't really need to sleep and could just stay awake all day and night if he's connected to a suitable charging source every couple of hours.

- I do think he would like powering down/switching off for a bit to rest though - just to not go crazy. Even if you wont die from lack of sleep, it's still nice to not have to think about things for a couple of hours.

Now I'm thinking about him laying down in rice after trying to go swimming without water proofing himself properly while bitching lmao.

What’s your least favorite thing to draw?

It's...it's backgrounds 💀💀💀 I consider myself more of a character artist, because my motivation to finish drawings is my attachment to that character. But backgrounds mostly just consist of objects I have no particular attachments to, so I don't really have much feel for it. Though it definitely feels better if the background is really that much of a significance to the character.

How much time do you spend drawing on an average day?

On a weekday, if I'm not too tired and if I want to sleep early, then at least around 1-2 hours. But if I'm feeling like getting my brain fried to a crisp then it can go up to around 4-5+ hours. On a weekend, it can be 10+ hours if I'm feeling ok enough but it can be so dangerous considering my health lmao

Do you ever collaborate with others? (👀👀👀)

I'm definitely open for collabs for mutuals I've had a few interactions with hehehe I always see a bunch of those in I/G Reels, it sounds so fun! (besides mutuals, if an oshi...asks me to collab with them...that's when I cough blood from joy and get sent to the ER)

For digital artists: how many layers does a typical piece require?

🧍🧍🧍🧍🧍🧍🧍🧍🧍...........they gave us the layers feature for a reason, so who am I to stop myself from using it as freely as I can? Rough sketches can go from around 2-10 layers (depends if colored or not). While for full color illustrations, it depends on the drawing (is there a background? how many characters are there? do i need to separate certain elements for later adjustments?, etc), so it can easily breach 100+ and 200+ 🤣🤣🤣 Thank you for my life, CS/P's Ctrl+Shift function 🙏🙏🙏

After some thoughts, I'm deciding to post this again....but with very detailed notes about the reader!

Summary: A short drabble about MC getting their period for the first time since regaining their human form in the Devildom.

Mammon x AFAB! MC

CW: MC has a vagina and menstruates. Period content and blood mentions.

ONLY HUMAN

Being stuck as a sheep in the Devildom was hard, but you were beginning to think that being a human in the Devildom was even harder. Since you regained your human form, your body had started to go back to its normal functions, which included your first monthly cycle since being human in the Devildom.  

Your sleep was interrupted all night long due to the dull ache of cramps in your lower abdomen…unfortunately you knew that ache well. Your period had started in the middle of the night, and you had completely forgotten to get any sort of products for it. Not that you even knew how to go about asking any of the demon brothers. You reach over to your bedside table to check your phone. Squinting, you could make out that it read 3 a.m. Of course. You sigh, kicking the covers off of yourself and head to the bathroom.  As you sit on the toilet contemplating your next move, your phone buzzes. Who would be up at this hour? You thought as you reached for your phone once again. You had a text message from him.

Mammon

“Yo, MC! I can’t sleep. Are you up?”

Your heart begins to beat faster at the thought of the white haired demon texting you this late at night. 

“Yes. But I won’t be much fun…I'm not feeling the greatest.”

“What?! Why didn’t you say something sooner?! I’ll be right there!” 

You can’t help but giggle as you picture him hopping out of bed and tripping over his own feet as he struggles to put on the closest nearby article of clothing. Because he has nothing on when he sleeps, you thought. You felt your cheeks heating up as you shook your head, this is no time to be fantasizing about the Avatar of Greed. 

You quickly stumble out of the bathroom and pull on a pair of shorts as you hear a knock at your door. “MC, I’m comin’ in, okay?” You turned around to meet Mammon’s gaze as he looked you up and down. “W-Wait. Why do you smell like blood? What the hell happened?!” You sighed as you sat down on your bed, Mammon taking the spot next to you. “I’m okay Mams. I uh, just got my period is all…” It seems to take him a few moments to process what you said. “Your period…? Oh wait, I think I remember reading about that somewhere…in one of Satan’s books about humans.” You nodded. “Yeah, my fragile human body is making me feel a bit sick right now.” Mammon hummed as he  gently placed his hand on your forehead. “Well you’re feelin’ a little warm, and it’s my job to take care of the fragile human! So tell me what you need and I'll get it for ya!” You giggled at his enthusiasm. “Well for one, I need some supplies…I never got anything while I was a sheep.” Mammon nods and jumps up, I’ll go get ya some right away. Need anything else?” You leaned against Mammon’s side as you thought for a moment. “Painkillers, for sure. And snacks.” The second born nodded and stood up. “Sure, you relax and I’ll be right back!” He was about to leave your bedroom when he hesitated. “Wait a minute, let me tuck ya in so I know you’ll stay put!” Your eyes widened in surprise as Mammon made his way back towards your bed. “Go on, lay down!” You giggled and slid back under your covers. Mammon pulled the blankets up around you and gently tucked the sides around your body. “Good. Now stay where you are and I’ll be back with everything you need. I’m gonna hack into Levi’s Akuzon account. That way it gets delivered here ASAP!”

IM SO JEALOUS even when i don't have much to do I sleep so late and my good day's sleep is 5 hours tops🧍🏻‍♀️🧍🏻‍♀️ like ok a little (not so) fun story, last year during my exams i would literally sleep at 3:30/4 am to revise and i would wake up at like 6:30 to get ready and go to take them LMAO i still don't know how i managed to do so well when i was so sleep deprived... but like i'm used to it so ig it didn't feel weird at that moment😐 plus i drink so much coffee- which is not good for me either, ✨healthy habits✨

OHHH LET ME THINK.... i love horror/thriller but mostly psychological, i don't like them to be too gory, i get the ick. Then, i also like romance too and i'm still not sure if i like drama THAT much. so these 2. What about you???
