週末の走行　2024/1/27

今週末は日曜日が一日ショップレースということで、土曜日だけフリー走行しに行きました。一日レースとなると、あまり自分のフリー時間が取れないので時間の無駄になりがちなんですよね。

土曜日もお仕事だったので、17時頃からの走行。最近はファイナルが近いので閉店時間が曖昧になってきました。結局23時過ぎまで居座っています。ありがたいですね。

さて、まずピットが汚いことに定評がありますね。これでも棚を導入したんですけどね。2台しか面倒を見ていないのに、なんでごちゃごちゃになるのか本人も理解していません。タイヤ貼り替えて電池数パック使っただけなんです。デフのメンテナンスもしたいんですが厳しいですね。

コースレイアウトは1週間経たずに変更。週末は一日300LAP以上走るし平日も200LAP以上走るので気分転換も兼ねて、僕のわがままです。でもみんなもレイアウト飽きるみたいで今時期は割と賛同してくれます。グリップが低くてファイナルの路面感とは違う感じもしますが、路面温度を確認しつつ走行します。

珍しく電池の手入れもしてました。レース用電池はフレッシュに保ちたいですからね。ここ半年ぐらいに購入したマッチドバッテリーを一回使ってから放電器にかけて充電です。放電器使うなんてものすごく珍しいです。エキスパートの方は日常的にやってるみたいですけどね。でもこれやると電池触れないくらい熱いんですよね。劣化も心配。

800HVの電池なのに980mAh入るのも不思議です。これは期待できる数値です。NSB19スペシャルマッチドバッテリーのおかげですね。諸事情あって絶版になったようですがレース用としては良いバッテリーです。パンチは十分にあり、レース後半耐久力もそこそこあるのでいい感じです。NSB19は製品の売り方的にあまり好まないブランド（？）ではありますが...。

この日はボールデフorギヤデフ論争がテーマでした。

ミスを減らしてに楽に甘く周回するならボールデフ（ＴＫグリス）、少しリスクがあってもベストラップ・軽めのトラクションを狙うならギヤデフ（硬めグリス？）ということで結論になりそうです。同じギヤデフでも白いデフの方が滑らかという説を信じていますが、やはりそんなフィーリングです。ただ、下手な組み方をしたボールデフより、ギヤデフの方が感触が良いというのは変わりませんね。2週間前にオールメンテナンスをする必要があります。

結局はアベレージラップを意識せざるを得ないのでボールデフをメンテナンスしている未来が見えます。グリスはＴＫグリスがやはり適当でしょうか。トラクションのかかり方と曲がりの具合もちょうどいいです。

そしてギヤデフを選定するにもF-1用のデフが混じっているという罠がありました。指摘されないと気づきませんでしたが、スパーの外径が違うんですねこれ。デフ側のスパー外径が大きくなるとバックラッシュも最高速も違うしメリットはないですよね。手元に置いておいても気持ち悪いので欲しそうな人に供養。

CIOのモバイルバッテリーを新しく導入しました。高出力が出て12V対応・国内メーカー品ということで導入です。飛行機持ち込み可というのも良いですね。トリガーケーブルで12Ｖ充電器が使えます。

以前まで使っていたAnkerモバイルバッテリーは12V対応していなかったので使える充電器が限られていたので更新です。

基礎充電はHITEC X4、追充電はISDT C4 Airという布陣で戦います。熱が入れば良いというラインナップです。

これでファイナルの親電源は確保完了。結局グリス・オイル類の液体とスプレーがあるので荷物は送らないといけないんですけどね。

今後2週間でやることはデフの選定、ベアリングメンテ、フリクションプレートの掃除、Ｔバー更新といったところでしょうか。タイヤづくりが一番時間かかりそうです。あと少しだけがんばってみましょう。

Bell Announces Partnership With The Steve McQueen Estate

Custom 500 Six Day McQueen helmet and limited-edition apparel will launch collaboration.
