Stanford grumbled to himself under the little fort in his room. Sulking in their room.

He had a fight with Stanley for being so damn stubborn before their father told him to get inside the house and left Stanley alone out there. He just wants Stanley to see his point of view. He does not need his protection.

He's the older twin,he should be the one to protect him.

Stanley was being stupid. He already warned him about the consequences of slacking off and stuff. And his refusal to let Stanford stand there with him pissed him off.

Pa’s only doing this for his sake. He will thank their father later.

It's not like Stanford hates his brother,no. But their dad had high hopes for him,so Stanford wanted to impress him.

If he is impressed,then the old man won't see Stanley that bad anymore.

Even when it made him push Stanley aside. Because he doesn't want his father's irritating gaze to always be on Stanley. Always scrutinized the younger Pines.

Stanford is always the golden boy. He knew that since he got his consciousness.

Here,people awed by his intelligence and by his extra finger. Everyone calls him special,gifted son and many flattery words.He never felt like he didn't belong among these nobodies.

But their admiration isn't as important as Stanley's.

No matter how many people tell him that he is special, nothing can beat Stanley's admiration towards him. His praises and encouragement push Ford forward to be the best,get good grades and are already thinking about a future where he can make the world a better place.

Stanford sighed,looking at the unfinished advanced calculus work (yes,he is that smart) in front of him,side eyeing the small boat doodle art at the corner of his paper.

Yes,he has to become smarter. If he wanted to sail around the world with Stanley,he needed to be smarter,and stronger so he could protect Stanley.

It irked him a bit when Stanley insisted on being his ‘punching bag’. Because Stanley doesn't see himself the way Ford does. And he hated that.

Maybe his action alone made Stanley thought otherwise—

BAMM!!

A loud bang startled Stanford so hard,he almost ruined the fort.

"What the—"

“Put me down-!” Familiar high pitched shrieks made Stanford’s blood run cold.

Stanley.

He immediately went to the window,trying to check out but all he could see is black spot where Stanley was supposed to stand.

‘No..’

Stanford immediately ran down the stairs,opening the front door.

“Stanley? STANLEY!” He screamed out,hoping to hear a response.

Only eerie silence.

“Come on Stanley! This isn't funny!” He screams again,his heart beats accelerating as many possible scenarios popped up in his mind.

Suddenly,a shiny,glimmering golden chain caught his attention,Stanford bend down to take and inspect it.

It looks like a pin,shaped in....six fingered hand? And it seems broken and unstable,producing little sparks here and there.

Some hooded men in black suddenly ran passed him,doing a poor job hiding their gun and all. They doesn't even acknowledge Stanford there and just talk using their own languages.

Somehow,Stanford doesn't feel the fear.

These group clearly chasing after something or someone.

It doesn't take long for Stanford put two and two together,his hand gripping the broken pin.

That someone has taken his brother.

In which this dimension is where Stanford isn't bullied for his extra fingers,and he is mentally strong and crazy smart and take no shit from anybody.

He's going to find his Stanley,one way or another. :P
