it says its connected but when i try and actually do stuff w/ it like move the cursor it doesn’t work. I’ve tried changing the nib and recharging my pen, and replugging the ttablet but it still doesn’t work. I use it with my laptop and it works then, but idk why it won’t work for me.

There is some drawing tablet advice for you

Huion New 1060 Plus is one of the shittiest drawing tablets i swear. The quality is so poor that it broke in less than a year of using. I tried to fix it, but shit just don`t works anyway. I wasn`t just spent money to the tablet, but i also spent money to fix it. Still, useless. 

I know there are so much positive reviews on youtube but please you really shouldn`t buy it. People on youtube just got paid for this reviews. Right now i read some comments under this videos. People usually pick this tablet as their VERY FIRST TABLET because its cheap and have a good specifications that can be compared with wacom tablets that costs much more. But its just not worth it. 

Yes, maybe one person will try digital drawing and will give up after a month. This person can just buy the cheapest tablet and dump it or give it to someone without any regret. But. Another person maybe will try digital drawing and they will love it. They don`t need a tablet that will break after less than one year of using. 

Sure there are some people are enjoy by using this tablet even after two or maybe even more years. Good for them, they are lucky. But i also know one person who had the same problems as mine. im sure that we are not alone. I just can`t find honest reviews.

If you want to try Huion products, try something else but New 1060 Plus.

Yeah, I’m getting a new one. I kind of have to. As for which tablet, I’m going for the Wacom again. Huion is a top contender, but they’re not so good on photoshop which I use exclusively. And by this I mean the way they taper off isn’t as smooth as Wacom. They’re kinda chunkeh. I like things smooth. This really only applies if you crosshatch… which I do about 90% of the time. 

My bias aside, something to think about when you’re on the market for a new tablet is size. If you have large computer monitor (27″ and above), I recommend getting a larger tablet. The Huion would be perfect for this because of its large active space… buuuut if you have a tiny ass desk like I do, the Wacom is perfect. Downside of the Wacom? Price. The Medium size Wacom is, like, $300 for something that’s still smaller than the $89 Huion.

Honestly, just go with what your budget allows for. The difference in specs are so minute you’ll barely notice.

Though if you wanna be cool and try PS but have trouble getting those sexy clean lines, you can use Lazy Nezumi. It’s a paid program, but it does its job. It’s essentially stabilizer for PS.

EMERGENCY COMMISSIONS. AGAIN.

last time i did emergency commissions was on my nsfw blog, but this time its here.

my tablet has died after only 5 months. 

i keep getting error blinks on my tablet, my pc wont detect a driver for more than a minute, and it thinks my tablets unplugged. a different usb cord did nothing. i cant contact xp-pen support because the number they give requires a remote access code to call

my tablet is an xp-pen star 03 with express keys. im looking at a huion tablet to replace it. my preferences are the H610 ($60) or the New 1060 Plus ($90), depending on how much i manage to raise. if i can somehow get enough, i might look into the Kamvas GT-190S ($450). 

those are my tiers, so hopefully i can get a new tablet to finish artifght and my current commission list. all commissions bought from here will be completed while i do the current- but short- list.

Got a new drawing tablet! Decided to go with something a little more expensive this time, a Huion 1060 plus I got from primeday for my birthday. Set up was kinda confusing, but so far it works fine lol. Going to use Clip Studio Paint as PSE8 is just too glitchy and unreliable. So not only am I getting used to a new tablet after not doing digital art for a year+ , but I’ve got to learn an entirely new program too XD 

The tablet is nice and responsive compared to what I am used to, it can handle pretty quick movements too. I think I’ll need to play with the pressure sensitivity a bit as my lines are kinda all over the place. Pressure sensitivity isn’t exactly something I’m used to so its going to be a real task to get back into digital art. I’m excited though, I really missed it! Now I just gotta sketch some new stuff to scan and work on haha.
