IEYASU:

"...Just when I wondered where my scarf went."

A small noise of exclamation leaves you as you turn over in the futon to see Ieyasu entering the room. Not even the cozy nap you were in the middle of could dull your lively reaction to seeing the one you missed the most come back by your side early. Lately being away from Ieyasu has been hell. Hence the scarf. As good as the yellow-orange accessory looks on your beloved, he could go one day without it as revenge for making you lonely. Not that he had a choice...

"And why would you do that?"

He kneels by your side examining how you snuggle with his scarf tucked right under your chin, but he receives no reply. The more he looks at you, the more blush appears on his face. He sighs deeply and rises to his feet.

"Give me a minute to change and you'll get to embrace more than just that scarf. Everything as long as you don't resort to stealing more of my clothes, else I won't be able to show at War Council at all. Well... I suppose that's what you want."

Ieyasu was very aware of how beautiful his lover is, even before being officially together.

He heard the whispers from soldiers, they'd say how stunning the Oda princess was, most would fall silent from Ieyasu's presence, but there had been times when he snuck up on them and would give them extra work to do since they obviously had too much time on their hands

Once mc and Ieyasu are together- it's almost ten times worse

The soldiers, the merchants, lords in other lands, even the foreign traders at the docks, it was like everywhere MC went she attracted the eyes those around her

More than once Ieyasu had a date interrupted by someone asking if she was out with her brother, despite looking nothing like him, they were just hopelessly hoping they had some kind of a chance

MC would laugh it all off and insist on introducing Ieyasu as her lover to which he would pretend not to care about, why should he? MC was his and his alone

He does get jealous though, he knows it can't be helped, maybe he should just feel lucky, but sometimes all he wants to do is pluck people right in the eye.

He becomes uncomfortable when he realizes how many people imagine or desire being in his place

Not only is Ieyasu not used to that kind of attention, but it makes him more aware of some of his own personal insecurities

MC always comforts him with a hug and some ensuring words which usually turns into them giggling about the absurdity of some of the comments and situations they had been in.

He also takes joy in being able to make more intimate compliments that dive deeper from the beauty the public gets to see of MC, he knows her heart, her mind, her body in ways no one else does and he takes time to privately remind MC (although sometimes he would wait until she was asleep) of all the different things he found beautiful about her

Nobunaga & Asuka

“Asuka…!” The girl panicked and bowed. “Yes, my Lord!” Nobunaga turned around and said, “Tell me about your world”. Her eyes widened and she giggled nervously before saying, “I-I don’t know what you’re talking about—“. “Asuka, do you think I’m a fool? We already have a Shinobi who says he’s not from this time and judging by your clothing, you’re not from this time either”, he explained. She sat in front of him and said, “There really isn’t much I can tell you. We go to school, train to be Shinobi— oh! I have a few rivals!” He frowned. “Enemies?” “N-No! They’re my friends, but we sometimes fight~! Like me and my friend Homura do~!”, she said cheerfully. “Ah. I see”.

Hideyoshi & Ikaruga

While repairing Asuka’s outfit, Ikaruga spotted Hideyoshi thinking intently about something. “Is something wrong?” He hummed and then asked, “How skilled are you at hiding things, Ikaruga?” She smiled and said, “Pretty skilled, why?” The Warlord then gave her a blueprint of Nobunaga’s Tenshu. “I want you to find Lord Nobunaga’s Konpeito and hide it somewhere. Don’t even tell me where it is. My Lord’s health is at stake here!” Then she stood up and said, “Consider it done, Lord Hideyoshi”. She ran outside and jumped up into Nobunaga’s Tenshu to find Asuka there. “A-Asuka?!” “I don’t know why but Lord Nobunaga asked me to guard his Konpeito!”

MISSION FAILED!

Masamune & Katsuragi

After a good fight, Masamune and Katsuragi decided to eat some of his cooking, which she became very fond of. It didn’t take long for the two to become good friends. “Did you know that Ikaruga is like the Mom of the group?!” “Huh?! You have to deal with that too?! Hideyoshi’s always telling me off for being late to a War Council”, Masamune complained, making her laugh, as they kept talking. Wow! I didn’t think we’d get along over a good fight, good food and talking about our ‘Moms’!” He chuckled and they clinked glasses, just as the doors opened. The two felt that murderous aura from Ikaruga and Hideyoshi.

“Katsuragi…”.

“Masamune…”.

“RUN!!!”

Ieyasu & Yagyu

Ieyasu was told that Yagyu would be under his supervision, but he didn’t understand why. The entire room was filled with nothing but silence. Neither of them spoke to one another. That was until they heard running from outside the room. “What was that?”, Ieyasu asked. “Katsuragi probably getting in trouble again. Nothing worth our time”, she said with a squid in her mouth. His eyes widened. “H-How did you…?” “I’m a Shinobi. I could get you your favourite food if you wanted me to. I am placed under your supervision after all, Lord Ieyasu”. He smiled and said, “Ieyasu is just fine”. She nodded. “Okay…”.

“YAGYU!!!” “IEYASU!!!”

“HELP US!!!”

“Not helping either of you…!!!”, they said in unison.

Mitsunari & Hibari

“Thank you so much for looking after me, Lord Mitsunari!!!”, Hibari said with a bright smile. He smiled back and waved his hands in front of him. “You don’t have to be polite. Just Mitsunari is okay”. She nodded and asked, “So, what do you do?” “I’m a tactician, meaning that I plan strategies for our upcoming wars”, he explained with a cheerful smile. “Ah, I see! As Shinobi, we can’t always do that! Every time we have planned something, it never goes the way we want it to go!”, she complained with a pout. “Such is the life of a Shinobi, I suppose”. “Yup~!!!”

The aura surrounding them was too flowery for Ieyasu and then he looked at Yagyu.

“Hibari~, you’re so adorable~!”

“You need help…”.
