Another decently uneventful day, with dissapointing results at the end. The "Texture" class has been scrapped and merged with the "ImageFolder" class. Using this and a weird combination of tupples that looks like (a,(b,(c,d,e,f))) from a module one layer lower than it , it should allow me to create a decently manipulatable system for storing what textures are meant to be drawn and where

Can I see a screencap of your image folders? I want to see how you expect things to be done by the average joe who just saves a couple pictures they run across because they look neat.

You’ve tried to get the noninvolved to see things from an artist’s perspective, but can you see things from the perspective of someone who doesn’t feel as strongly about this? After all, they’re the biggest category of violator numerically.

I’ll start. Here’s a screencap of an imagefolder.

These were renamed from their machine generated names to something a bit more descriptive. I’m not willing to search through every cat .gif ever made to find the origin of the two cat images I have, nor am I willing to look through all the dashcam footage on the internet to find that one I have called “close call”.

These are small images I thought were neat. I decided to save them, and might look at them again once in a while.

Same deal here. I’ve got multiple Devil May Cry 3 images, but I just mash the number pad to get a filename that works after I label it.

How would you reasonably expect these picture folders to change?
