The Undisputed Kingdom is dead on arrival, IMO. Roddy is a great wrestler, don't get me wrong, but he's honestly wrestled so few matches since signing with AEW that I have no real attachment to him, and I don't care about the Kingdom's whole plan to steal all the belts, yawn, boo, hiss.
The way I see it is the International Championship has been used, at least during OC's reign to be the hype belt. You use it for the opening match every episode of Dynamite to get the crowd going, which means it gets a lot of defenses and you need kind of a workhorse holding it and to my mind the only man in AEW who should be wearing that belt is Penta El Zero Miedo.
He's cool as fuck, the growd goes nuts for him, AND he's probably one of the best wrestlers in the biz at controlling the crowd. The audience eats out of his hand and you can tell in his matches that he is always conscious of the crowds energy and when to do a taunt or a zero miedo chant to get them popping. And on top of it all he's genuinely great in the ring, he already usually has at least one match a week as it is, and puts on basically nothing but bangers. AAAAAND he's the only member of Death Triangle who hasn't had that title before if you count Pac when it was the all Atlantic belt. And OC defeated Penta's brother for it so you have story continuity built in.
The literal only reason they wouldn't want to put a title on Penta is he can't cut promos in fluent English but for the International belt it shouldn't matter because OC's shtick for like a year was that we was the guy who didn't talk.
I am fully pushing the Pentagenda, I am never going to shut the fuck up about this until they make Penta El Zero Miedo the AEW International Champion because we deserve a champion who has
When Pac hit Danhausen with the hammer, Danhausen cursed the International Championship so that it could only be held by Orange Cassidy, who has never hit him with a hammer. I will not be taking questions at this time.
“Canada’s foremost bridge players were in action in the Crystal Ballroom of the King Edward hotel, Toronto, when they engaged in an international match with a team representing the Bridge Headquarters of New York, which is headed by a master at the game, Milton C. Work. The Canadian team is shown in the layout: (1) Hamlin B. Hatch, considered one of Canada’s best, looking over his cards. (2) John W. Jacobson, who has been identified with bridge, both Canadian and international, for many years. (3). D. A. MacDonald, who also has a splendid record. (4) W. H. Gunn, holder of many tournament championships, and master strategist with the cards.”

There is a very real possibility that on Sunday Tony Khan will make us watch as Orange Cassidy pins Rey Fenix, but doesn't get the International Championship back.
