minor update to Erestor’s bio:
In the second age he’s not primarily an advisor anymore. He works as the head librarian now, and it’s his work as Spymaster that brings him onto Gil-Galad’s council.

Small Inunir backstory update:
Another reason - perhaps the biggest reason for his father’s disdain toward him - is that his birth was a long and difficult one for his mother. It was a stark contrast to the smooth delivery of his firstborn. When Inunir was born it momentarily seemed like all of Eirwen’s strength was sapped from her; Maethorhir was told the birth of his second son took an extreme toll on his wife’s body, and that her fea was likely to depart very soon.
Eirwen, however, was stronger than they all expected. She recovered for the most part, but she was weakened forever after. Eirwen was mostly herself but would occasionally have spells of terrible fatigue that would last for days at best, and weeks at worst. The only one she really responded to during these times was Inunir, who would rarely leave her side. Maethorhir grew unreasonably jealous of this fact.
For a long time Maethorhir also tried to pressure Eirwen into having another child — he daughter he could spoil, or a stronger son to keep up with Arthadron throughout life. Eirwen always refused, primarily because of her health and wanting to be alive for the two beautiful children they had already. Maethorhir would always bring it up every few decades until she eventually separated from him.

answering with current active muses
Inunir: “I’ve always liked taller men. Muscles are nice, but not necessary. What’s more important is that he’s kind and understanding, someone who is strong enough to be gentle when needed. Preferably someone who takes charge with things, but he won’t yell or raise his voice at me. He listens to me instead. I want to learn from my partner, and teach him in return. I want to feel safe with him.”
Dior: “I like people who are free and unpredictable. But more than this… my partner needs to see me for myself, as more than just the culmination my parents and grandparents.”
