My dozens of failed escapes before my first successful one are proof enough of that.

//Actual worst qualities? It's hard to pin down just one, considering even his flaws are more endearing than anything. But if I had to pick... Probably his need to people-please. His incessant need to make friends and get on everyone's good side is a major plot point in the game, even.

 WHO EVER REQUESTED THIS PROMPT (I’m assuming you’re the one who requested the original Sleepover prompt but if not I still love you) I’M DUBBING YOU THE SLEEPOVER ANON AND YOU ARE AMAZING

Sequel to Sleepovers!

“I don’t believe I feel comfortable doing thizz. Isn’t this an invasion of privacy?” Rotom asks, the face on his screen raising an eyebrow.

Hau shakes his head quickly, the blush evident on his tanned cheeks, “n-no. We’re just… making sure the girls are okay.”

“Exactly, leaving those two girls alone at night – especially Moon, your trainer might I add – isn’t the best idea.” Gladion gulps wiping a drop of sweat from his forehead.

Rotom stares warily at the two boys, “so, just to make things clear, you both want me to sneak into Lillie’s room and stream their sleepover to Hau’s Pokedex? Zzt, is that right?”

They nod in unison.

The Ghost/Electric type’s expression suddenly turns mischievous and soon he’s smirking at the two boys.

“Zzrt. Alright, I’ll do it.”

“Coast is clear?” Lillie asks peeking outside the window.

Moon closes the closet door and looks back at the girl with a relieved sigh, “yep.”

The two girls slump down to the floor with a hum before exchanging a giggle. Lillie crosses her legs before leaning forward with a grin.

“Now that we can have a boy free sleepover, let’s chat!”

Hau and Gladion watch eagerly through the tiny screen of Hau’s Pokedex. As small as it is, the quality is crystal clear showing off the two girls who are clothed in onsies resembling Plusle and Minun.

Hau smirks, elbowing the boy next to him, “this was a much better plan, now we don’t have to worry about being quiet!”

“You make it sound so dirty, we’re just watching over them.” Gladion hisses, his emerald gaze never leaving the screen.

“So, how’s you and Hau?” Moon’s voice suddenly asks from the speaker.

“He asked me out the other day…”

The room goes quiet before Moon suddenly erupts in squeals, drumming against her thighs.

Gladion’s eyes drift to the boy beside him, blinking at him slowly.

Hau laughs sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck.

“When was this?! Where was I?! Why don’t you tell me things anymore?!” Moon whines with a pout.

“I wanted to wait until we were alone so that I could tell you. It happened a few days ago. He took me to a Malasada shop, typical him. It was… amazing. He was surprisingly such a gentleman and he…” Lillie pauses, a faint blush painting her cheeks and ears as she averts her gaze from Moon.

“What?!” The black haired girl shouts.

“He…”

“He… He what?! Lillie!”

“He kissed me…”

It seemed like Moon had lost all air in her body as she suddenly falls back against the floor, rolling around as she squeals.

“It’s really not that big of a deal…” Lillie murmurs biting her lip.

Moon shrieks before regaining her composure and blinking at the blonde with an overly wide grin, “It is such a big deal! Aw, I’m so happy for you two!”

Lillie mumbles a ‘thank you’ before pulling a strand of hair behind her ear, “enough of me and Hau, how are you and Gladion?”

Moon’s expression immediately drops, her once bright smile now curves downward into a frown.

“Has he talked to you about anything yet?”

The black haired girl sighs shaking her head, “I-I thought he would at least mention something but it’s been over a week and it feels like he’s avoiding me. I don’t know, I guess I’m starting to lose hope…”

Lillie bites her lip, before shifting to her friend’s side, pulling her into a hug. Moon settles into her embrace with another heaving sigh.

Meanwhile, Hau looks at Gladion, completely annoyed at Moon’s speech, “what are you doing man? I thought you liked her.”

The blonde boy flinches slightly, blinking guiltily at the screen showing Moon’s face, “I-I do… and I’ve been trying to work something out but I just don’t want to screw anything up.”

“Overthinking’ll do that to you. You just gotta go for it.” Hau smiles flinging an arm over his shoulder.

“I’m sorry Moon, but hey, you know how my brother is. It takes him a while to open up on his feelings, just give it time.”

Lillie’s voice breaks the silence as she scoots away from Moon. The black haired girl mumbles a 'yeah’ before insisting the subject be changed.

The blonde hums, looking around her room for something for them to do and her eyes land on a small black camera sitting atop her dresser.

“Shall we make some memories?” The girl asks with a playful shake of her shoulders as she raises the camera towards her friend.

Moon snickers, before she strikes a pose, her hands forming a bridge under her chin as she grins.

The flash goes off and Lillie giggles, waiting a few seconds for the picture to pop up on the tiny screen.

Moon jumps up from the floor and nudges herself beside the blonde, eager to get a good look at the picture.

Once the picture surfaces, it seems otherwise normal save for the distinct light flashing from the large plant Lillie has by her closet.

The blonde walks over to investigate, pulling the leaves to once side to reveal the beaming red Pokedex that is Rotom.

“Zzt, hi Lillie!” Rotom grins dancing around.

Moon rushes to the girl’s side, staring puzzled at her Pokedex, “Rotom? How did you get here?”

“Oh, Gladion and Hau asked me to watch over you guyzz tonight, aren’t they such good friendzz?” The Ghost/Electric chuckles before swapping out the center screen to show Hau and Gladion watching awkwardly from the other end.

“So…they were watching us…this entire time?” Lillie’s voice quivers as she holds an oddly calm smile.

“Again…” Moon comments, “they were watching us again.”

Gladion looks away, nibbling on his bottom lip, “Moon, I-I can explain…”

“Where are you guys?” The blonde girl asks with the same calm smile that’s slowly beginning to look suspicious.

“Just outside, we needed to be close to Rotom in order to get the video…” Hau mumbles with a chuckle.

Moon and Lillie exchange a smile before promptly rushing out their rooms, kicking the front door open and blinking at the two boys.

“GET OUT!”

Bonus:

“Moon, please.” He begs, eyes drooping in guilt.

“Arceus, I can’t believe you two!” The girl swirls around and stares at him, her expression wild and her eyebrows are furrowed, “we told you two to never do it again the first time and then you two go and steal my Pokedex behind my back and do it again!”

Gladion sighs, watching her turn around once again, stomping away from him, “I’ve said sorry so many times, what do you want me to do?”

Moon huffs, “just leave me alone Gladion, I really don’t want to be bothered!”

After being yelled at almost two days in a row by her, he was just about to let her walk away and find someway to make it up to her but a lone idea crosses his mind and in that moment he finally had worked up the courage to try it.

He runs up to her, grabbing her wrist lightly to spin her around to face him, and in the desperate moment with little time to waste, he leans down and presses his lips to hers without hesitation.

Her body suddenly relaxes, her expression turning calm and beautiful, something Gladion notices as he pulls away, whispering breathlessly against her nose.

“Can I take you out sometime to make it up to you?”

Despite stumbling slightly on her words, Moon had never said the word 'yes’ as fast as she did that day.
