Is it weird to go to an actual play podcaster's tumblr ask box to compliment their laugh? I feel like that's a weird thing to do. Like if they were a scripted voice actor that seems more acceptable because their laugh is part of their performance, but when it's someone hanging out with their friends?

Context: I am someone who has gotten a lot of comments about my own laugh and honestly my laugh has changed a lot over the years so sometimes the comments from non-friends make me self-conscious. I would hate to make this person self-conscious. Then they might not laugh as freely.

That was a good phase.#For the past few years my laugh has been more of a shriek with a high tendency to turn into coughing #but I've noticed it has been starting to thicken out again recently.#In middle school it was a giggle and that was soooooooo embarrassing.#Like not only is giggling 13 year old girl a cliché nobody wants to be. I was way too tall and too fat and too uncaring of fashion to pull #off ''cute'' but that's what giggling implies.#And just like the cackling the giggle WASN'T fake/performative but it SOUNDED fake/performative.#So it LOOKED like I was trying to be a cute giggling girl and like. No. Sorry. This difficulty breathing is very real.#personal #liveblogging stories #Anyways that wasn't the tag rambling I meant to write on this post.#I meant to talk about how running the poll blog is weird because like.... I have actually talked to this person.#So my brain is a little scrambled with the ''parasocial relationship'' category and the ''professional relationship'' category.#But a) complimenting a laugh is not encouraged in the professional category either and b) I can't send asks from the side blog so even #though to me it's clear this wouldn't be the first time we've spoken‚ that isn't what it would look like to them.#Is this way too many words to write on the subjext?
