It always felt a little strange coming back to UA.
None of it felt smaller; the halls were still grand, and the doors still loomed over his frame, but it certainly felt odd, walking the halls as an adult.
Izuku had visited UA many times before, though he mostly kept to the teacher’s dorms. He usually came to see Hitoshi or Eri, and by extension, Shouta and Hizashi.
The only other person he ever visited was Principal Nedzu.
“Ah, Izuku! Welcome!” Nedzu said, flashing him a bright smile. “It is always a pleasure to meet with my former students, and this is no exception! It has been far too long since we last had the chance to chat!”
Izuku gave his former principal a polite bow. “Good to see you again, Nedzu. Sorry I couldn’t come by sooner.”
He walked into the office, taking it all in. Not much had changed in the last three years—the walls were still white, there was a plant in the back corner, and a large bookshelf to his left—though a few more pictures were on the wall than he last remembered. One was of All Might and Lemillion two years ago, both of them beaming for the camera. Izuku tried not to let his eyes linger for too long.
(While he was more than happy with his chosen career path, occasionally, the heartbreak he felt on the rooftop all those years ago would flit through him. His heart would clench uncomfortably in his chest, the pain only soothed by the memories of glitter, sock puppets, and laughter.)
“Would you like some tea?”
Izuku tore his gaze from the photo and sat in the chair across from the principal’s desk.
“Yes, please,” He said, taking the offered cup. It was his favorite kind.
They sat in comfortable silence for a moment, relishing in the sweet warmth of their tea. While he sipped his drink, Izuku spotted a miniature snowglobe on the desk. It was one he was very familiar with, having bought it for Nedzu on his first (and only) trip to see his dad in the United States. He had spent almost an hour debating the pros and cons of various souvenirs before his mother finally forced him to settle on the small trinket. Seeing it displayed so proudly brought a soft smile to his face.
Izuku took one more sip of his tea before placing it down and asking, “So, Principal, what would you like to discuss with me? I assume you’d like a copy of my lesson plans for Eri’s internship?” He pulled out a few folders from his bag.
“That would be wonderful,” Nedzu said. “I do appreciate how you are always so prepared!” He took the folders from Izuku and started to flip through them, occasionally taking a drink. “Have you considered whether you will be taking Eri for a work-study? I understand it’s a bit early, but I thought you might have some thoughts,” He said, not looking away from the notes.
Izuku hummed in thought. He had considered it, but he wasn’t sure if it was the best move. Eri hadn’t yet decided what branch of education she wanted to go into, so it might be best for her to be a bit more well-rounded. He could always advise her on his personal time.
He said as much to Nedzu, who nodded in understanding.
“I see,” Nedzu said, placing his teacup down and looking at Izuku. “I quite enjoyed my time teaching you in your high school years; do you think Eri might benefit from something like that? I am aware that she does not possess the same… analytical mindset that you do, but perhaps a shift in perspective would be good for her?”
“Hmm, I’m not so sure.” Izuku looked out the window behind Nedzu. “You and I both know that Eri adores you, sir, but I think it might be better for her to get more experience outside of UA.”
“Oh?”
Izuku nods, continuing, “I'm sure you know this already, but Eri had a very... well, a very sheltered childhood. After she was rescued from the Shie Hassaikai, she had to reintegrate into society slowly. Even now, she sometimes struggles with reaching out to her peers.” He sighs. “She does just fine at home; she loves her family to bits—including most of Class 1-A, as well as Togata. But if we want Eri to continue progressing, then we should help her out of her comfort zone—which has undoubtedly become the halls of UA.”
Nedzu temples his paws. “Very astute, Izuku!” He makes a note before continuing, “Glad to see we are on the same page. You never cease to impress me with your observations!”
“Thank you, sir!” Izuku chuckled.
Nedzu pulled a board out from his desk. “Well then, with business out of the way, how about a game of chess?”
“Only if you’re prepared to lose!”
Nedzu flashed him a feral grin. “Oh, we’ll see about that.”

“Okay, Eri, that’s the last of the basic classroom procedures,” Izuku said, clasping his hands in front of him. “Any questions?”
Eri shook her head. “Nope! I wrote it all down in my notebook; I’ll be just fine, Uncle Deku!”
“It’s Midoriya-sensei when we’re at school,” Izuku said, raising an eyebrow at the girl, “but I’m glad you’ve got it all down.”
Today was the beginning of Eri’s internship with him, and Izuku felt great. Eri was super enthusiastic about everything—even the most tedious and nitpicky policies—which made his life a whole lot easier. He was worried that she might be a bit bored at first, but she powered through, and now they got to focus on the fun part.
“All right, Eri, the kids should start arriving in a bit, so why don't you help me finish setting up the classroom, and then you can wait outside the door to greet the kids?” Izuku grabbed a few worksheets and handed them to Eri, nodding towards the tables. “Hara-sensei should be here in a few minutes as well. She texted me to say she was running behind.” Izuku stifled a laugh and dramatically whispered, “Don’t let her fool you; she’ll probably stroll in holding coffee and a cinnamon roll; it’s just how she is.”
Eri giggled. “ Does she ever bring you any, Uncle—I mean, Midoriya-sensei?”
Izuku rolled his eyes playfully. “Me? Only sometimes. She’s nice though and good at her job, so it’s not a big deal.” He shrugs, diverting his attention to the whiteboard, updating a few things.
Hara-sensei, or as Izuku knew her, Emiko, was a pleasant woman. She got along well with the kids; they loved to goof off with her at recess. (Sometimes, Izuku wondered if she wasn't actually a five-year-old herself.) She had been Izuku’s assistant teacher since he started working at Mimba Private Elementary School, and her help had been invaluable. She was actually only a few months younger than Izuku, but she preferred the assistant position. He had tried to get her to apply for promotion once, only to be met with a firm rejection, and glitter flicked in his face. ("Are you trying to get rid of me?") He hasn't suggested it since.
“I’m going to wait by the door now!” Eri called over her shoulder.
Izuku turned, replying with a quick, “Alrighty!”
Emiko strolled in about two minutes later, holding an iced coffee and—to Izuku’s surprise—three chocolate chip muffins.
“Well, would you look at that! My assistant actually brought me a treat?” Izuku teased.
Emiko laughed, setting her things down on her desk. She had long blue hair tied in two braids and was wearing a long-sleeved yellow button-up under a pair of overalls. (Mimba Elementary was famous for its lax dress code, students and teachers alike.)
“I even brought one for your intern!” Emiko chirped. “I hope she likes chocolate. They ran out of blueberry before I got there.” She picked off a piece of the muffin, popping it in her mouth.
Izuku grabbed one, peeling off the wrapper before taking a big bite. He hummed in delight.
“Are those from Sato’s?” Eri asked, peeking her head in the door.
Emiko grinned proudly, holding one out to the other girl, who raced over to grab it. “You betcha! My cousin works there, so I get a family discount!” She said, shooting a wink at Eri.
“Better eat that quick; the students will be here any minute now!” Izuku poked at Eri’s stuffed cheek.
Eri gobbled up the rest of her muffin in record time before sprinting back to the door.
Emiko turned to Izuku. “Do you want to stand outside with Eri today, or should I? She doesn’t really know me yet, so I wasn’t sure if she’d be more comfortable sticking with you for now.” She finished picking at her muffin, throwing the wrapper in the garbage.
“I’ll stay with her for today, but she can go with you tomorrow. I want to push her out of her comfort zone as much as I can while she’s here.” His lips upturned into a playful smile. “Plus, if you keep buttering her up with food, I’m sure you’ll be besties by the end of the week.” He chuckled, popping another bit of muffin in his mouth.
A teasing grin quickly overtook his assistant's face. “By the way,” Emiko whispered, “have you asked you-know-who out yet?”
Izuku felt his face flush red. “What?!” He squeaked. “Absolutely not! We both know I can’t do that!” He waved his hands in front of his face frantically.
Emiko raised an eyebrow at her co-worker. “Do I know that? Because I can’t come up with a single reason why it would be a bad idea.” She leveled him with an unimpressed stare.
“Um, how about the fact that he’s a literal pro-hero and I’m a kindergarten teacher?” Izuku suggested, bewildered at his assistant’s lack of understanding. “He’s way out of my league! There’s no way he would be interested in me!”
“I just don’t see the harm in asking!” Emiko exclaimed. “You never know until you try, Izuku! If he turns you down, then so what? You move on with your life, and nothing bad happens! It’s really not that complicated!” She huffed, crossing her arms.
Izuku sighed, running a hand down his face. “Look, Emiko. I appreciate the sentiment but, we have quite a few mutual friends, actually. So I don’t want to make it weird for anyone if they find out.”
Emiko looked confused. “Wait, you two know each other? I mean, everyone knows Red Riot, obviously, but he knows you too?
“Well, not exactly. I know a handful of his old classmates from UA, and my best friend’s boyfriend is his best friend, or well, one of them anyway. I’ve never actually met Red Riot before, but we have similar social circles. Not that I’ve been, like, avoiding him or anything! I would never do that! And we both see him here at school anyway so—”
“Izuku. Chill,” Emiko laughed.
His mouth clicked shut, blushing again. “Sorry.”
“It’s fine, just calm down, okay? I get it might make things a little bit weird if he turns you down, but you honestly don’t have a whole lot to lose in this situation. Plus, his kid isn't even in your class! That makes it like, a million times easier to avoid him if it doesn't go well. So just go for it!” Emiko punched his arm before shaking out her hand. “I always forget you’re more muscular than you look.” She pouted.
Izuku breathed out a small laugh. “Thanks, Emiko. I’ll—I’ll think about it, I guess.”
“That’s all I can really ask of you." She gave him a bright smile. "Now go help Eri! She’s gonna be drowning in kids if you don’t!”
“Alright, alright! I’m going!” He waved Emiko off, walking over to Eri.

Little did Izuku know, his new intern had heard every word of his conversation.
And though she may not be a hero student, she was determined to save Izuku from his rapidly failing love life. And she knew just who to ask for help.
“Midoriya-sensei, is it alright if I text my dad real quick? It’ll be just a second!” She plastered on her sweetest smile, one that always got Uncle Deku to agree to whatever she had planned.
“Sure, but make it fast, okay? I’m gonna need your help getting the kids seated and ready for the day,” He said, quickly turning his attention back to the steady stream of kids arriving.
“Thank you!”
Eri pulled out her phone, scrolling through her contacts until she found who she was looking for. She drafted a text as fast as she could before sending it and stuffing her phone back in her dress pocket.
“All done, Midoriya-sensei!” The girl chimed. “What do you need me to do next?”

In his office, Principal Nedzu received a very intriguing message.
“Why, yes, Eri. I do believe that can be arranged!” Nedzu smiled to himself.

Sniffles
Pairing: Rowena x reader
Summary: Rowena has an issue with your newly-adopted cat. You confront her about it, and things turn out not to be as they initially seem.
Editor: @oswinthestrange
Tumblr media
Rowena was initially against getting a pet, but after hours of your pleading and begging, practically on your knees, she'd rolled her eyes and, with a huff, relented. Anything to make you happy.
The cat you'd brought home was full black and fluffy, appropriately named Luna. She was a friendly creature, loved to be petted and cuddled, and meowed when ignored for even a second — basically Rowena in cat form. You had a feeling they would get along well. If you could melt the witch's ice queen facade with love and kindness (even if it did take a year for her up admit she did, in fact, feel something for you, and, afterwards, months to convince herself that feelings, especially those of romantic nature, weren't a weakness), so could a kitty with cuteness.
You were right.
Rowena had taken to Luna right away. It may have had to do with the fact that, upon seeing her for the first time and thoroughly sniffing her, the cat brushed her head against her palm and purred happily, a surefire sign of approval, of acceptance of her as her human — her witch. Rowena, never one to reject attention, even if it came from an animal, was enamored.
Not long after that, though, she started acting strange.
It had started with sneezes and evolved into sniffles. The witch, ever proud, claimed she was okay. It was just a cold, she'd said. She was fine. Nothing to worry about.
But with the cold came her sudden indifference towards Luna. Every time the cat approached her with demands of cuddles, she would push her away and rush to another room. She wasn't running, she'd said when you confronted her. She just had something to do. That something just happened to come up when Luna was near her. A total and utter coincidence.
Yeah, right!
You weren't born yesterday.
After yet another incident, where you'd come home from a trip to the grocery store and found the cat locked in the bathroom and clawing at the door in attempts to get out, you finally decided to confront her.
Rowena was in the kitchen, mixing up what appeared to be some kind of potion, if the herbs strewn around the counter were anything to go by. Her back was turned to you; she didn't turn to greet you with a smile, something she always did, didn't utter a single word of greeting. Didn't acknowledge your presence at all despite you announcing, loud and clear, you were back as soon as you'd stepped through the front door.
Was she mad? It wouldn't be the first time something insignificant had gotten her to sulk. The woman had a gift of being offended by the most random things. You could deal with it, just as you'd dealt with it all those times in the past. You just had to find out what the great offense to her highness was.
"Rowena, we need to talk." You cut right to the chase, careful to keep your tone neutral rather than accusatory. You wanted to sort this out quickly and in peace.
"What about?" she asked. Her voice was raspy, croaky, as if she'd been crying.
"Luna," you said.
She sniffled and, taking a tissue out of her pocket, wiped at her nose. "What about her?"
"Why did you lock her in the bathroom?"
Maybe there was a reasonable explanation, you told yourself.
Maybe the cat had gone mad and tried to kill her.
Maybe she was a fairy in feline form and had tried to abduct her to service king Oberon.
Maybe she was an alien and had wanted to probe her.
Maybe, maybe, maybe.
"She was being a pest," Rowena said.
You sighed. "Rowena, you can't do that."
"Nothing happened to her," she insisted, unrepentant.
"She was terrified!"
"She'll get over it."
"That's not the point!" You were fighting a losing battle. The witch was stubborn as a mule; if she was convinced of something, there was no changing her mind. You might as well shout at a wall. Taking a breath to calm down, you said, "Why are you acting like this? Do you not want a pet anymore?"
"Of course I do!" Rowena said, outraged at the suggestion. "That cat is just… annoying."
"She just wants you to pet her and play with her."
"Like I said — annoying."
She poured some seeds from a vial into a bowl and started crushing them.
You rolled your eyes, annoyed. "If you don't want a pet, just say so."
"Goodness, lass, I'm telling you that's not it!" Rowena snapped. She slammed the grinding stone down and swirled around, finally facing you.
You barely held back a gasp. Her face, usually pale, was red as a tomato. Her cheeks and eyes were puffed up, slightly swollen, as if she'd been crying. There were bags under her eyes, equally swollen, equally prominent, like dark, half-moon bruises. She looked like she'd been in a fight and lost.
"Oh, my god!" you exclaimed, unable to hide the shock from your tone. "What happened? Are you okay?" Then, like a light bulb flickering on in your mind, it dawned on you. "Are you allergic to Luna?"
"Aye," Rowena said with a tinge of shame. She didn't want you to see her like this, didn't want to admit a tiny, harmless cat made her face puff up like a blowfish.
"Why didn't you say anything? I wouldn't have brought her home if I'd known you were allergic."
"I didn't know."
"Why didn't you tell me when you realized?"
Rowena turned her head to the side, avoiding your eyes. She sniffled again and brought a tissue to her nose. "You wanted the bloody cat so badly! I didn't want to ruin it for you."
Your heart swelled with warmth. "Honey, it's just a cat." Stepping forwards, you cupped her cheeks in your hands, gently, softly. "You matter to me so much more."
So much more than an animal. No matter how badly you wanted a pet, you wanted Rowena more. Cared about her more. Loved her more. No animal could ever come before her.
Rowena leaned into the touch, closed her eyes, gave herself away to the sensation. Your fingers caressed her skin with utmost tenderness, careful not to hurt her, not to irritate her swelling.
"I do want a pet, but not if it's hurting you."
Rowena smiled. "I'm… sorry I didn't tell you." It took a lot out of her to say it out loud. Apologizing was still a painful subject for her.
"It's okay," you said, and meant it. She'd only had your best intentions at heart. You couldn't be mad at her for that.
"I thought I'd make a potion" — she gestured to the herbs on the counter behind her — "to lessen the symptoms."
"You do that," you told her, "and meanwhile, I'll return Luna to the shelter."
Rowena stiffened. "Are you sure?"
"Yeah," you said with a nod. "She's a lovely kitty. I bet she'll find a great home really fast. We're just not the right family for her."
You pecked her on the lips, a swift, soft brush of skin over skin. You wanted a pet, a pet cat in particular, but you could give it up if it meant Rowena would be safe. The last thing you wanted was to hurt her. An animal wasn't worth it. Nothing was worth it.
"Need me to pick anything up from the pharmacy? Something for the allergy?" you asked.
"The potion will do just fine," Rowena said.
"Okay. I won't be long. Movie marathon when I come back?"
"I don't see why not."
"Awesome! Would you be a dear and make some tea? I'll bring the snacks!"
"Of course, darling!"
You sealed the deal with a kiss, short and sweet. This could turn out to be a fun day, after all.

Bakugou Katsuki × Hinata Aki (Aki's pregnancy)
(Hey guys! Before we start this, I just wanted to say if you haven't read my lemon about these two then you probably wouldn't know wut this is about lol.)
Pairing: Bakugou × Aki
Rating: T/kinda M
Warning! This post will have:
-Cursing
(Yeah that's it-)
(With that ENJOY!)
No one's POV:
It's been 6 in a half months since Aki and Katsuki found out they were gonna be parents. Of course, since Aki is the pregnant one, she has to deal with morning sickness, cravings, having the urge to pee every 5 minutes, having her breasts hurt, having her feet hurt a lot, having her back hurt a lot, and so on and so on. But thankfully Katsuki, Aki's husband and father of her future child and/or children is there to help her every step of the way.
Aki's POV:
I HATE THIS!! Tsu should've told me the pros and cons of being pregnant. I'm ok with the urge to pee and back hurting but I crave weird things! Yesterday, I asked Kacchan to put chili peppers in my sardine, mayo and jelly sandwich for lunch. Then I asked him to make me some ice cream with chocolate syrup and green peppers. I hate spicy things and eating the sandwich and ice cream made my eyes water and I started crying a lot. Since me and Kacchan are both hoping for a girl, we named the baby Ichika which means a thousand flowers. We named her that since the baby would be expected to be born in either April or May. Today was also really crazy. First, when I went to HQ, everyone found out me and Kacchan were having a baby and congratulated us. Of course, Kacchan just smirked and said "Yeah you should be congratulating us." Then, when me and Kacchan got to the store, we saw Aizawa and Eri. Eri looked so adorable! I know she's only 14 or so but still! She immediately recognized me and Kacchan and gave us both a big hug. Then she said "I heard you guys were gonna be parents! I'm so happy for you two!" That made my day a lot! Then, when we went to go visit my parents, my mother gave me her favorite necklace. She said it has good luck so that way, during child birth or after child birth, I wouldn't die. I started tearing up and hugged her. Then my father patted Kacchan on the back and said "You're alright, son." And finally, my little sister finally came down to visit me and Kacchan for the rest of the pregnancy and the spring! Of course since Kacchan and my sister hated each other, it was gonna be kinda hard but they promised they would try and work it out.
Bakugou's POV:
So today was starting off great and stuff until Aki's fucking sister showed up. She said she'll be staying for the rest of Aki's pregnancy and the spring. I wanted to say "That's the same thing you dumb bitch." but I didn't because she's both my sister in law and Aki's sister so I kept quiet. Then me and Aki's sister made a promise to Aki that we would work out our hatred for each other. After a few minutes, I heard Aki groan. I went to check on her and make sure she was ok. She was laying on our bed and had her necklace in her mouth. "Aki? You ok?" I asked. Aki then replied "Yeah I'm fine. Just hungry and bored." "You want dinner? It's 6:10 PM so it's close to dinner," I said. Aki nodded. So, I went downstairs with her and started making some ramen since Aki likes ramen. I added meat because she also liked meat. I went to add so peppers in there but when I reached for them they were gone. "Hey Aki? Do you know where the chili peppers went?" I asked. Then it sounded like she was crying. I went up to her and she turned around, crying and munching on the chili peppers. "WHAT THE HELL!?!" I exclaimed.
Aki's POV:
While Kacchan was making dinner, I saw he had chili peppers. I wanted them so badly that I grabbed them and started munching on them. I started tearing up but continued 'cause they just tasted so good. Then Kacchan asked "Hey Aki? Do you know where the chili peppers went?" I tried to answer him, but I couldn't because I was crying and munching on the peppers. The he asked if I was ok then I turned and faced him. "WHAT THE HELL!?!" Kacchan exclaimed. "WHY THE HELL ARE YOU EATING RAW CHILI PEPPERS?!?!" "Ichika and I wanted them so badly that we couldn't wait any longer. So I grabbed them and..." I started sobbing. "It hurts but they taste so goooooood!" I sobbed. Kacchan sighed and hugged me. "Baby girl I need them for dinner ok? I'll make sure you have extra 'cause I know how you are when I don't give you enough," he said calmly. I nodded and sniffed. He then grabbed the chili peppers and chopped them up. I had some potato chips while I waited and watched some TV. After dinner, I went to sit on the couch. Kacchan came with me too. I let him pick the TV show even if it was violent
Bakugou's POV:
After the pepper fiasco and dinner, Aki and I went on the couch and watched TV. I got to pick the channel so I put on "Ridiculousness" on M-TV. I knew Aki loved that show. Everytime she laughed, it made my whole world bright. I'm glad she's apart of my life now. She's been with me since we were in U.A. i appreciate that. Then, a few minutes later, Aki stopped paying attention to the show and gasped a little. "What's wrong?" I asked. She had her right hand on her baby bump. "Kacchan, Ichika kicked a bit," she replied. I was shocked and said "Really?" She nodded, took my hand and put it on her baby bump. There was a little kick that hit my hand a bit. I was surprised.
Aki's POV:
A few minutes later of watching "Ridiculousness", I stopped paying attention because I felt something kick me a bit. It was in my baby bump area. That's when I realized the baby kicked a little. Kacchan asked "Whats wrong?" after I gasped a bit. "Kacchan, Ichika kicked a bit," I replied smiling. He looked surprised and said "Really?" I nodded, took his hand and placed it on my baby bump. There was another kick and to me it looked like Kacchan's eyes sparkled a bit. I smiled and kept my hands on my baby bump, wondering if the baby would kick again. The baby did kick again until after a few hours. When it happened, Kacchan couldn't help but put his hand on my baby bump again. Then at 2:20 AM, I woke up, craving ice cream with banana peppers. I woke up Kacchan. "Aki, it's 2:20 in the damn morning. Go back to sleep," he said with tiredness in his voice. "But Kacchan. I want ice cream with banana peppers," I whined. Kacchan shook his head no. I gave him puppy dog eyes.
Bakugou's POV:
After the first few kicks, Aki and I waited patiently for the next one. It happened a few hours later. I put my hands on Aki's baby bump and my eyes started sparkling a bit. At 2:20 AM, I got woken up by Aki. I then said "Aki, it's 2:20 in the damn morning. Go back to sleep." But then she whined "But Kacchan. I want ice cream with banana peppers." I shook my head no, but Aki didn't give up. She gave me her signature puppy dog eyes. She knew I couldn't say no to her puppy dog eyes. Damn it she knows me to well. I sighed and said "Fine! I'll get you the ice cream!" I got up and got the ice cream and banana peppers. I gave her the ice cream after it was made and she didn't complain. She ate almost all of it. Sometimes I wonder how this woman functions. The next morning, Aki was already in the bathroom, vomiting. I felt really bad that she had to go through this. After that, she and I went to HQ to visit the fellow pros since it was our day off. Once we got to HQ, Yaoyrozu and Asui got by Aki. I growled softly and Aki told me it was ok. I listened and stopped.
Aki's POV:
When me and Kacchan arrived at HQ, Momo and Tsu immediately came by me. "So how's the pregnancy coming along?" Momo asked. "It's doing great! I do hate my cravings though. I always crave spicy things and I hate spicy things! Last night I ate raw chili peppers. Well, kinda," I replied. Tsu then said "I know how you feel, Aki." A few hours later, Denki and Jirou came up to me, offering some orange juice. I politely said I didn't really like orange juice that much anymore but rather like apple juice more instead. "We completely understand, Aki!" said Denki. "I can get you some apple juice if you want," Jirou said. I then said "No thank you. I can get it my self. Thank you though!" So I got up and went to the juice machine. I could tell everyone was watching me to make sure I didn't hurt myself. I didn't, which thank god, and got my apple juice. I sat back down a drunk the apple juice with pleasure. Turns out the baby likes apple juice too.
(Hey everyone! Me again! So this turned out to be way longer than I expected but I had so much fun writing this. If you want more, make sure you leave a like. I also might turn these "Aki's Pregnancy" stories into comics.)
