Getting Neuvillette's c1 is so amazing now that he doesn't get knocked around when doing his charge attack... but... it's kinda easy (for me) to not notice his hp go down scarily quick from taking damage + the hp drain
So, everytime I'm on my alt account, finishing a round of the denouement of sin domain (the number of characters who can use golden troupe is astounding), Neuvillette needs to heal
I would like to present to you:
Neuvillette, accompanying the traveller, this kitsune from Inazuma (who clearly doesn't want to get along with him, see: he stole her signature weapon😭) and, surprisingly, a child from Liyue
He's keen on keeping her out of danger, especially once the first round is completed, the elemental reactions + the sheer brute force of the mekas are... for a lack of better word, a nuisance (the number of times miko gets interupted is frustrating)
Whatever was the traveller thinking, bringing a child in such a dangerous domain? Neuvillette doesn't know the answer to that...
More like, he didn't know the answer to that— not until the child summoned a rabbit that not only lifted the team's spirits, but also healed them all with all those jade radishes (are the people of Liyue so fond of jewels and gems that something or the other has to include jade in its name? Neuvillette will look into that once he has the time to spare)
"I'll take good care of everyone!" Neuvillette remembers the little girl had said before they entered the domain
She sure does a good job of keeping everyone safe, and at reminding the Iudex of the melusines, who often times worry over his health
(Yaoyao is such a sweet child, she's like the only character I use nearly daily on both my accounts)
🍀
STOP CLOVER NONNIE THIS IS SO CUTE??? 😭😭 neuvi being the father-figure that he is to yaoyao and probably lecturing the traveller on child safety and the laws which surround such topic, miko just wanting out bc 1) her wand was stolen by a dragon (one of the seven sovereigns who are plenty powerful without it, no less) and 2) she keeps getting the short end of the stick by the constant interruptions, and yaoyao just being daughter yaoyao :((

#danielle (castle of wings)
Menu Description: A noble from Fontaine that owns Château d'ailes and longs to travel the whole of Teyvat. What most people don't know is that beneath the castle walls, there lies a secret she can never reveal.
Hello: “A pleasant day, I go by Danielle Villeneuve, it’s a pleasure to finally cross paths with you, traveler. I'm glad that I have decided to fulfill my wish of traveling the world.“ About Danielle: “I have had many names, and one of them is Abez, I think you already know that, hm?”
Known Previous Names: Devonna, Adila, Yardena, Melusine True Name: Abez (Alter: Sin) Species: God, Sea Siren Vision: Hydro Rarity: 5-star  (☆☆☆☆☆) Weapon: Polearm Nation: Fontaine Voice Claims: Haruka Tomatsu & Tia Ballard
Tumblr media
More About Danielle
I: “People of the past refer to me as Abez, the god of cleansing. Now, I am Danielle, the lady of Château d'ailes. This might be who I live for now, but I will always be a god.”
II: “I have always observed humans before and it was quite easy to live out what I’ve since then wanted to do. Being a mortal and immortal has its differences, but if I’d rather choose, I’d rather live a mortal life.”
III: “I rule over purity and its counterpart. I share the burden of life and death, that is my duty, to cleanse. That was my only duty.”
IV: “Tell you stories of my past? You must be curious about my relationship with the other gods. There have only been two gods that I’ve trusted. I’ve never associated myself with the other Archons, that's why I don’t really know who they truly are.”
V: “Why do I still want to fight… an interesting question. A reason, huh? Because I’m a monster, maybe.”
Good…
Morning: “yawn Excuse me, but what day is it?”
Afternoon: “Do you want to watch the sunset with me later, my friend? Yes? Great!”
Evening: “I can make supper for us, I’ve been learning several cuisines, which one would you like for tonight?”
Night: “yawn There was a time when I spent every day deep in slumber. For some reason, I feel more at ease these days. Is it because you’re here with me?”
Tumblr media
About the Vision: “You mean this? I see its value, but I don’t see its necessity for the likes of me, really.”
About Gods: “Gods are born monsters. Loved by most, doubted by some, hated by few. I’ve stopped thinking about them for a very long time, but with this curse that is always with me wherever I go, how could I not?”
About Friends: “I’ve known a few deities whom I was ‘friends’ with, you could say. I know of a sea serpent and a sea monster, ancient gods who lost to their own, but how sure were the others to judge their impurities? We’ll never know.”
About Us: Different: “I never mistake a pure soul when I see one. I believe that you are not like those I’ve met before, my friend. You’re different.”
About Mortals: “I harbor a great amount of compassion and patience towards them, mostly because they had never done anything wrong to me anyway. Most mortals are pure of heart, you, my friend, I am certain you are as well.”
About “Sin”: “Sin is me, and I am Sin, but we are not the same. Sin is Abez’s alter, one who was made by the negative energy from others and the god herself. All the more, I am grateful for Sin, actually. She is the reason why Abez is the pure goddess that she is, but how is Sin faring, that is my only concern.”
Voicelines about Others
About Tsaritsa “I consider her as a good friend of mine—the Tsaritsa, as everyone calls her. I call her by her name, and she calls me by mine. We have a certain level of trust towards each other, and I consider Snezhnaya as a place close to home.”
About Zhongli “I admire his leadership, and we have a middle-ground, at the very least. But like other gods, trust is not something you can always wholly give, even for those whom you had a contract with beforehand.”
About Venti “We never officially met before, but he sounds like an interesting character. A friend of mine disregards him due to past conflicts but I do not judge another based on other opinions.”
About Baal “Do you mean… I honestly do not know much about the God of Inazuma, but since you are asking, I feel like she and I could get along, but I do not intend to either.”
About Hu Tao “Hu Tao is a mixture of life and death, I see why fate ought me to meet her. She’s an interesting character as well, there is never a dull moment when I’m with her.”
About Xiao: Innocence “There was a yaksha that I met before; tainted with impurity, but laced with an innocence deep inside of his soul, hiding from the harsh reality of the world. He was the reason I met Morax back then. As a reward for saving the yaksha, we made a contract that changed all of our lives.”
About Xiao: Agreement “Xiao was the reason I met Morax back then. As a reward for saving the yaksha, we made a contract that changed all of our lives. The past is not something to dwell with, but I’m grateful for what he’s done.”
About Qiqi “The little girl... we are so much alike, you could say. Frozen in a moment in time, trapped in a body neither possessed before. It must be why I feel attached to her, at the very least.”
About Xiangling “I have taken a liking to taste out food by Xiangling. I admire her passion and drive, she has a true, irreplaceable talent.”
About Alice “I met her several times during her stay in Fontaine. A frivolous woman, I’d say. She reminds me of… the people who I lost before.”
Voicelines about Danielle
Xiao - About Danielle: Secrets “Do I know her? You could say I do. If you wish to know more about her, it's futile to ask me, it's best to come to her yourself instead. It's not my place to reveal her secrets.”
Xiao - About Danielle: Trust “If you already know who she is, she must have trusted you already. Trust… I don’t see a reason why someone like her sees me as trustworthy, not after… forget it. The past is not something to dwell with.”
Zhongli - About Danielle: Suggestions “Danielle... you must mean Lady Villeneuve. She can brew one of the most outstanding teas I ever had, I suggest you join us when we have some one day. What else? Well, she is good with her sword skills, from what I could recall, maybe you could have her teach you some of her tricks.”
Zhongli - About Danielle: Sealed Contract “We had a contract, yes. It's not something I could disclose, but we both have fulfilled each of our ends. It is finished.”
Hu Tao - About Danielle “Hu Tao is shh shh! Dani’s a good friend of mine so I respect her secrets! Whatever she’s keeping, even if I know it or not, I still won’t say anything out loud!~ Do I know it? Ah ah ah! I won’t say anything!”
Tartaglia - About Danielle “She has a certain value towards justice but since she is probably the only friend Her Majesty has, she is valuable and we Harbingers are careful not to disrespect her in any way. Sometimes, we mortals are just bound to see where the gods will take us. Oh? Did I say something? Forget it!”
Qiqi - About Danielle “Danielle… Qiqi wrote about her in her notebook… She helps Qiqi get Violetgrasses when Qiqi needs them. Danielle is very kind.”
Xiangling - About Danielle “You mean my daily customer? She’s willing to try anything I make since she said she wants to try out Liyue cuisines. The only time she refused was when I said I included a bug there laughs”
Story
1: Danielle Villeneuve, the lady of the Château d'ailes wished to explore the whole of Teyvat and live like a simple human, even if she had been given a Vision the moment she stepped foot on land again. She wanted to live peacefully but her past and identity are the very things that hold her back. Thus, she stayed as who she was while accepting the fact that she remains as the god who had and will always have a single purpose; to cleanse.
2: There are very few ancient gods that have lived and survived throughout the years, and who would have known one of them walks and lives amongst the humans, wandering as a noble traveler, seemingly as normal as one could be.  “You don’t have the aura of a mortal, what are you?” when Danielle was asked by Liyue’s Adeptus, she didn’t know whether to answer him truthfully or not. She had awoken from her slumber in Liyue, but the very first who greets her was a being that she had known from before. Yet he surely doesn’t recognize or know her. She appeared as a human indeed, yet her soul was not. No matter how far she could fool anyone, it was difficult to do the same to herself. Adapting into the mortal world was harder and harsher than she thought, and yet she pursued, in hopes that this might be her last seal with her destiny—to live as a mortal, and to die as one.
3: After Liyue, she went to Snezhnaya and became friends with the Cryo Archon. The Tsaritsa was well aware of her and her powers, but Danielle saw her as a friend, and she thinks it was the same for the others as well. She stayed there for many years and only moved to Fontaine in hopes of getting answers from the god who had given her a Vision—abilities lesser than her own but enough to get by. Despite knowing the Archon’s true intentions, Danielle still wanted to see if there was any purity in her.
4: Everyone knew about the tale of the six-winged goddess of purity, but nobody knew the real reason why she lost five of them. Abez had once adored both mortal and immortal alike, thinking there will always be good inside each of them. That everyone was pure, and they can only be tainted by the impurity. It was the reason why she was alive, to rid the impurity and make others good. How wrong she was. When the other gods betrayed her, she was scarred by what they had done, and it caused her to leave everyone alone, letting the impurity rise until it began the renowned archon war. She realized that impurity can never be erased, no matter how much she would get rid of it. People speculated that her wings faltered by the time she backed away from everyone, thinking she died miserable and alone. Books nowadays say that she cut it off, as a pang of guilt for starting the war, even if was not to blame for any of the other gods’ actions. The least known of the theories was that it was cut by the gods who betrayed her. And even if she wouldn’t admit to it, it was the truth. Til this day, Abez mourns the day she had lost her wings, but she does not blame the one who had taken them from her, and not to herself for the war that emerged from impurity. She had already repented by sealing herself and living off in the future, where she surely knows that her power will be needed once again, for the sake of Teyvat.
5: Danielle had always held the past as a reference for the future, despite having no repercussions or regrets, she wanted the future to be better than the past or even the present. But it is not as simple as that. With a new, much simpler goal in mind, she began searching for her wings, exploring the world of Teyvat as a front of what her goals were. Though she may have only realized it when she met past acquaintances or friends from Liyue, through them, she was able to come to a conclusion of what she must do, for now.
Vision: The tides were low and the seas were restless, eyes fluttered open and she breathed for the first time in years. The seals around her were broken, but a new one arises as she soars to find land, to seek the air she needed. It appeared and formed in her hands, beneath the sky and the land that was not once there; a bright blue light emitting on it, its shape nor form not familiar for her back then. But once she did, she knew it was another seal that was meant to bind her to the grasps of those who seek for her, just like it once did before.
Gloves and Feathers: “She was once a beautiful goddess, adorned with six wings that let her glide into the wind and fly above mountains. Now, all that was left was one; one that couldn’t even let her do any of those anymore.” Abez was known for her legend of being the one-winged god. Some say she was punished for harming humans and gods tore off her wings, some say she tore it off herself. No one knows the truth, but Morax knows to himself that there is a reason why Abez chose to make a contract and save the yakshas from their abusive masters. The glove that Danielle wears is a symbolism of the wing she had before she sealed herself and her powers while the feathers that adorn her parasole symbolizes the five wings she had way back, a memory of what she once had and not anymore.

FF5 Four Job Fiesta: Part 3/3
Tumblr media
AKA the lowest point of a game that would otherwise be perfect.
This is where the game starts becoming… not so fun. Once again, you are left with three party members, much like how we started part 1/3, but the issue here is that we do not have the resources or ability to fly around and prepare for our next destination.
The Pyramid of Moore isn’t fun. It’s full of enemies weak to healing and holy, which in itself is fine considering we picked up Curaga, but there’s a certain enemy you cannot flee from, boobytraps galore, as well as “overworld encounters” in the form of giant robots that have a ton of health! It took multiple tries before I cleared that hell hole, thank god there isn’t a boss fight. No, that comes after the pyramid.
We fight the Melusine which possessed Lenna off-screen apparently, and this boss is kinda annoying. You have to constantly scan it to figure out what its weakness and immunities are. Thankfully, she can be put to sleep so I could go ham with Red Mage abilities.
Thankfully after that, we get access to the sealed weapons.
Tumblr media
Well, we get access to three of them in exchange for the Earth Lithograph, but that’s more than enough as I decided to yoink the Sage’s Staff and Flame Whip immediately. We’re gonna need them for a future destination. While I was at it, I also stopped at the Phantom Village for better equipment.
I was worried about the Island Shrine because on my first playthrough, the Wendigo was an absolute bore of a fight, but this fight went over much better and I took him down fairly quickly.
Now, this is a problem I personally have with this game- the linearity. You would think at this point you can get whichever lithograph in whatever order, but no, the game actually forces you to go into the Fork Tower and retrieve Flare and Holy before you can get the last two lithographs. This is irritating for this kind of run, imagine if I hadn’t gotten a White Mage as my first roll…
I did however, come up with my own strategy around this. I would switch around the jobs of my characters so my Chemist was now a White Mage and my Red Mage was now a Chemist, etc. (Beastmaster stayed the same) Then, I went to go pick up the Chicken Knife, an optional item. I also stocked up on Holy Water and Maiden’s Kiss, as well as MP items for the Chemist to mix.
Now, it seemed we were prepared. The Chicken Knife allowed us to flee from enemies in the Fork Tower and take out the Minotaur as quickly as possible. The Omniscent however, was a long, close battle and I made sure to keep Reflect on for when he finally keeled over with a Flare spell.
That was only one major obstacle down, and now with the Holy spell in our hands, the game gets slightly easier. You see, the next area just so happens to have enemies that are weak t–
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Oh Jesus Christ!
Yeah, no wonder these things are weak to holy, because those are pretty unholy. Not as nightmarish as the Unknowns in FF7 but still! Was Nomura alright when designing these guys!? They clash with the rest of the game! They look like they belong in Parasite Eve, not Final Fantasy!
Uh, anyway, we make good use of their encounters for some EXP. The skeleton also comes with Doom, which puts other enemies on a death timer, so I ended up catching one of them for fun.
Since we do not have the Float ability, we had to traverse the lava puzzle manually. Which took several attempts and deaths before I got lucky. Ironically, the boss of this area is a complete joke in comparison. On my first playthrough I somehow managed to get Triton, Nergade, and Phobos to destroy themselves via confusion. This time though, I just summoned Odin through the Magic Lamp I found at Easterly Falls, which kills all three of them at once.
Speaking of the Easterly Falls, we immediately revisit that place through an underwater entrance to get the Water Lithograph. No boss fight required, and the checklist of optional bosses don’t require fighting Leviathan on my end.
They did however, require these two.
Tumblr media
So the Phoenix Tower doesn’t really have a boss besides a Soul Cannon and forced random encounters you cannot run away from. I once again had to stock up on healing items, mainly because certain enemies in the tower would inflict zombie, and that’s annoying.
We did reach the top, and… were forced to scale all the way back down. I didn’t waste my elixirs on the Magic Pots, since they aren’t guaranteed to disappear like in FF7. It’s better to just save them for Exdeath for now.
Bahamut was easier than I expected. I anticipated he would use Mega Flare, but I think I beat him too quickly before I could set it off. I put on Wall Rings for nothing it seemed, but his Atomic Ray was fired back at him at least.
I wasn’t exactly confident about going into the N-Zone, even with the extra items I had bought and back-up equipment I had. My party was about 10 levels lower than what most people were at when going in to face Exdeath.
But, I didn’t have much left in the game to do. Grinding areas are sparse in this game. So I bit the bullet and dove in. Currently, the strategy was for the Red and White Mage to rely on Holy and healing, the Chemist doing mixing and using the Chicken Knife, while the Beastmaster was put on berserk or caught a strong enemy.
The strat worked on mostly all of the bosses in the N-Zone. The Wood Sprite tried to heal herself by using reflection magic, but the Holy and physical damage pretty much overpowered her. Same goes for the Apanda.
(By the way, screw the Omega, he needs to move his fat mecha butt outta the way! I kept running into him by accident, and my run doesn’t require beating him!)
I hate the Azulmagia. And you have to fight him if you want access to a save point. I was throwing everything at him just so he would stay down, but he just kind of spammed blue magic to knock down my party like they were pegs. I don’t know how I beat him, perhaps my desperation won out in the end, which gave me access to one of the few save points in the N-Zone.
Catastrophe and Halicarnassus weren’t hard at all, I resorted to the previous strategy used for Apanda. The Twintania though, obviously I had to prepare with a Coral Ring on my White Mage, made sure to set up magic reflection so Mega Flare would bounce back to him.
The last third of the N-Zone, and the first thing we run into is our good friend Gilgamesh for one last battle! It’s mostly a scripted fight and one of the easiest in the game. Can’t say the same for the rest of the area, in which the task is to just survive until you reach the last save point… which is guarded by the Necrophobe.
Simply mix the Dark Matter that was collected with Phoenix Downs, four times to get rid of his barriers, then wail out on him and try to survive until Gilgamesh saves us. I actually almost screwed up this fight because I accidentally picked “Fight” on my White Mage instead of healing.
The last save, and we have Exdeath in our sights, the final stretch.
And I can’t find myself to fight him.
Our party is too under-leveled (partly due to the Chicken Knife forcing that 25% flee chance), our Red Mage doesn’t know Dualcast yet, and even just trying to leave the N-Zone is a struggle due to how the enemies can be. Our equipment really isn’t strong enough to take down the final boss, who IMO, is the hardest final boss in the Final Fantasy games I’ve played so far.
I think we’re actually stuck. I’m stumped. Grinding in this game really isn’t fun, traveling out of the N-Zone for enemies that give worse EXP in exchange for buyable items is just extremely tedious.
Maybe this is how Exdeath wins.
Tumblr media
I’m gonna try to take some time, figure out if I can find a good grinding space, but don’t be surprised if I don’t come back to this game for a while because the N-Zone is such a pain to deal with. Especially with the challenge set upon myself. If we can at least get Dualcast, we might have a chance here.

Name: Ardyn Izunia Alias: Ardyn Lucis Caelum, Adagium, Accursed. Titles: Imperial Chancellor of Niflheim Birthplace: Solheim Race: Demi-astral tainted with the starscourge. Ethnicity: Solheimian Age: 2000+ ( current ), 30s ( past ). Gender: Male Sexuality: Bisexual Relationship Status: Single Birth date: April 30th,  Occupation: Imperial Chancellor of Niflheim ( current ), Healer ( past ).
Family: Somnus Lucis Caelum ( younger brother ), Etros Izunia ( mother ), Hiryur Izunia ( father ), all deceased.
Appearance.
Height: 6′7″ Weight: 210 lbs Hair color: Red Violet Eye color: Amber Complexion: Tan Voiceclaim: Keiji Fujiwara
Ardyn is a rather intimidating figure at his stature. Six foot seven tall as well as muscular, he isn’t one to be taken lightly even when just going by the size of him. Red Violet hair definitely helps him stand out from the crowd even more, being a rare colour as well as his striking amber eyes that only intensified in colour as he took in the starscourge. He’s tan in colour of skin from the sun of Solheim, a nation once known for its warm weather.
His fashion sense is a bit of a disaster in the modern world, wearing so many layers and patterns. There is a reason for this madness, of course, it is something he finds protection in as well as applying a good layer of the strongest sunblock he can find available on his skin left visible. It is not that he burns easily ( he actually tans extremely well, he can get quite dark in colour ), but it is the fact that with all the starscourge within, he works like a daemon— though, the sun wouldn’t kill him like it would with the vast majority of the daemons, it would definitely put him at a weakened state; so to combat this, he covers up. He can usually be seen wearing a decorative trench coat, clearly custom made for him with a few added on parts that hang from his shoulders, including a hood. Below that he wears a decorative waist coat, and a scarf, below these again, he wears a large vest that hangs loosely over his body otherwise if not for his upper layers. He wears a set of pattern trousers, leg warmers and boots on his lower half. Extra accessories include a bag that he attaches round his waist and leg, fingerless gloves, and a fedora. His usual fashion essentially screams that he is made of money if nothing else does, while it makes him look like a hobo almost with how he wears it, there is no denying that some of the items costed millions of gil for him to order and purchase.
Without his layers? He has defined muscles, and scars throughout his body from the torture he had to endure at Angelgard over the long years, as well as any before that. He also has a scarification on his back that he had got done at the age of eighteen, it was a tradition for those dedicated to pledging themselves to the astral’s calling to endure and display a scarification on their bodies somewhere. Ardyn has one that covers mostly the middle of his back, he got it to represent Ifrit, the Infernian and the astral that ruled over his home of Solheim. Even know he hates the astrals now, he has yet to regret his scarification— it was a part of his past. His underwear is often of expensive taste too, black and laced patterns, usually wearing garters as well. However, very few get to see this sight of Ardyn.
Personality.
Positive: Charming, intelligent, dedicated, independent, confident. Negative: Cruel, cold, hostile, power-hungry, venomous, suspicious, indulgent, spiteful, blunt, angry, chaotic, stubborn, suicidal, twisted, insane, sick in the head. Likes: Alcohol ( namely various wine and vodka ), Chess, high-end fashion, cars ( vintage and modern ), smoking ( cigarettes ), Ebony Coffee, certain daemons ( main ones being his daemonic snake Orochi, the Cerberus, and the Melusine ). Dislikes: Humanity, astrals, the royal line of Lucis, the royal line of Oracles, Niflheim Empire, and the Crystal.
Rejection hurts, doesn’t it?
At first glance, Ardyn may not seem so bad, he might even seem like a gentleman to most. He definitely has a way with words, he can be very smooth at talking— appear polite for most part, but with a bit of sass included.
However, this is only a face he puts on to the world, his real personality is actually rather cruel and cold— even in his past, he was always seen as cold by the majority around him, Ardyn doesn’t hold back when he’s annoyed or angry at something, his voice can raise, though it can stay low and still sound threatening. He is easily stressed by the humanity of today’s world, he would often find ways to combat this, thus he started drinking a lot more ( realising the starscourge makes it impossible for him to either get drunk or face any consequences of it ), he found smoking to be relaxing ( again, no risks are of a concern to him ), he found enjoyment in collecting and working at cars, as well as being more and more accepting towards the starscourge, he found comfort surrounding himself by his daemons at times.
As the years passed by, Ardyn found himself hating humanity more easily. Once, a long time ago, he used to love and cherish the humanity of the world, now he looks at it, he sees all those that betrayed him— he wants nothing more than to make them all suffer, and to drown in their blood as he rips them all to pieces, a definite contrast to his former self, and the sad part about it is that he actually enjoys these murder sprees that he goes on— no repercussions towards himself either.
He is mostly fuelled by his desire for revenge to the Lucis line ( sour after all those years of having been imprisoned, as well as made a monster out of by his younger brother whom he is sad that he didn’t get the chance to kill off himself ), and he’s certain he will carry it out; he has been trained in the past to be good with a variety of weapons, as well as that, self taught himself some new ones. As Noctis Lucis Caelum sets out on his journey, Ardyn drops mostly everything else that he had on his agenda and focuses on making sure that the Prince reaches his goal.
Abilities.
Commander of the Starscourge: Whilst he is not responsible for the starscourge in the first place— Ardyn is now the commander of it, he rules the daemons. He can cause the starscourge to spread as fast or slow as he wants it to, he can even directly transfer it over to others. The daemons listen to his commands.
Other Starscourge Related Abilities.
Daemonification: As mentioned, Ardyn can daemonify anyone that is within his reach. He is extremely strong so he has no issue grabbing and lifting a person— even a trained soldier with one hand by their heads, making a crushing motion, he can cause the starscourge to infect them, even through armour. With this ability he can gain the memories and knowledge of the other involved— Ardyn has even done this to beasts like Behemoths which means he has some quite unusual memories stored.
Dark Tornado: Allows Ardyn to unleash a tornado upon whatever he chooses, causing devastating damage.
Shadowstep: Allows Ardyn to travel wherever he pleases, it even allows him to reach the top of very tall buildings ( among other things ), and allows him to mimic a form of flying.
Enhanced Strength and Magic: Ardyn’s strength and magic in general is increased with the starscourge’s power.
Overkill: Whenever Ardyn has taken enough damage, he will start to look more inhuman, it will become evident that he’s something else entirely, this usually comes from what could be seen as a killing blow to anyone, say he gets impaled in the chest— he will change into this more daemonic appearance of his, and well, go absolutely mad. He is unpredictable in whilst in this state, definitely more violent— once he has killed, and devoured enough ( yes, he will eat the flesh of his enemies ), he will be able to change back. This form does have a few drawbacks however, he can’t see very well, he can only make out those with warm blood— namely because they are his targets, otherwise, if his enemies hid away behind somewhere, he would only have sense of smell to go by; keep in note, even with his disability, he is not to be taken lightly in his form as he will be relentless in finding his prey. He can also enter his more daemonic appearance willingly if he wants to put on a show, though he doesn’t really do this often.
Mimic: Ardyn can take form of anyone he wants. Usually those he has daemonified, but so long as he’s been able to study a person’s looks hard enough, he can change into a perfect copy of them, tricking those around him into thinking he’s someone else entirely. He can even take form of Noctis Lucis Caelum and his friends.
Immortality: This wasn’t exactly brought on by the starscourge alone, but it definitely helped influence this power. It actually happened to Ardyn when he had decided to place his hand upon the crystal, when the crystal rejected him, it also doomed him to living eternal, only able to be truly killed within the beyond.
General Abilities.
Swordsman: Ardyn is a trained swordsman and has been for over two thousand years. He carries a longsword known as the Rakshasa, which is usually made to be two armed, but he can swing it about easily with just the one arm. It is a twin blade to his brother’s Yasha. Bestowed to him and his brother at a young age from their parents. Ardyn was trained under Gilgamesh.
Gunsman: This is a skill he picked up himself when transported to Niflheim after a while, he had a sniper rifle imbued with daemonic power made for him especially, called Cerberus-0, Ardyn trained with the gun until he managed to get headshots each time. He’s confident with other guns as well, but the Cerberus-0 is his favourite for obvious reasons.
Royal Abilities.
Royal Arms: Ardyn was able to once he gained his freedom, to go round the world, accessing each of the royal tomes and gaining their royal arms for himself— they couldn’t reject him as he still had the royal blood running throughout his veins. Any other weapon that he got, along with Regis’ sword, he simply created a copy of them out of his magic.
Royal Retribution: Ardyn can unleash all of his royal arms and other weaponry at once against enemies.
Winged form: Ardyn can use his royal arms to give himself a set of wings, allowing him to float around as he fights.
Scythe: Ardyn can create a giant scythe out of his magic, this can cause a devastating hit to those around it as its reach is wide.
Other magic: Ardyn is very proficient at magic, he can cast a range of it, this stems from his royal abilities as he has always been able to do so, though it has now definitely been enhanced with the starscourge, it still works like it used to for most part. He can still heal, he can still set up barriers. He can unleash powerful magic such as Ultima, Demi, Firaga, and so on. He was once known to be a Sage which is a higher stage up from a Red Mage. It was always suggested that by himself being a demi-astral that has always granted him a better affinity to magic, as his younger brother was much less proficient at it than Ardyn was, having not taken in any astral genes unlike Ardyn who did.
