teachers fluff au
We were robbed of Schmico tonight so I decided to work on this prompt to get something fun and fluffy out there. I am not a teacher and I haven’t been in high school in a minute (thank God) so I apologize if anything feels off with the logistics of this story. Also, it’s a bit longer than I had planned, so a bunch is under a cut. I hope you enjoy!
“Uh, hello class. I am Mr. Schmitt, and I will be your chemistry teacher.” Levi turned to write his name on the board, taking a small breath to calm himself. It was his first class on his first day of teaching and to say he was nervous would be an understatement.
“Oh my, God, it’s Mr. Kim!” He heard an excited whisper behind him and turned towards the door. Standing in the doorway, leaning on the jamb, was what could only be described as the manifestation of Levi’s idea of a perfect man. He was tall, muscular, and Asian, with exceptional cheekbones and swoopy hair. He had on a cardigan (with elbow patches!) over a white button-up, but it did nothing to hide his physique. Levi gave an audible gulp.
“Hey, sorry to interrupt. I just wanted to introduce myself. I’m Nico Kim. I teach biology and a couple science electives. I wasn’t able to make the start of year staff meeting, so we didn’t get a chance to meet then.” Nico sauntered over to Levi with an outstretched hand and a smirk.
Levi met the handshake, but not before wiping his hand on his pant leg. He immediately felt tingles run up his arm. Nico’s smirk softened into a sweet smile and Levi inhaled sharply.
“Hi. Levi Schmitt. I teach chemistry. But you knew that, obviously.” Levi stuttered and heard giggling behind him. He turned to his class and gave them a stern look, which prompted them to quiet down. Huh, that’s a great result.
Nico let go of his hand and backed towards the door. “Well, I’ll definitely see you around.” He retreated through the door and Levi watched him go, before taking his place back in front of the class.
A girl in the second row - Lydia Frances - raised her hand, and he indicated she could speak. “Okay, you seem like a cool guy. So I think I can say this: Mr. Kim is definitely into you.
Levi choked. “I’m sorry, what?”
“Yeah, he’s never looked at any of the other teachers like that. And he’s probably the most attractive teacher here.” Much of the class nodded in agreement.
He cleared his throat and clapped his hands. “Okay, new topic. Let’s go over the syllabus for the semester!”
Levi let out a long sigh as his last class of the day shuffled out of the room. He sat in his chair and gently laid his head onto his desk. While he was contemplating just taking a nap right there and then, a small nod startled him awake and he snapped his head up. Standing in his doorway, for the second time that day, was Nico Kim with a fond smile.
“Long day?” He made his way into the classroom and approached Levi’s desk, pulling up a chair to sit across from him.
“Not so much long as… nerve-wracking. This is my first teaching job.” Levi gave a sheepish smile.
“Well, some of your kids are also in my sports medicine elective and they raved about you. Apparently, you have a nervous energy and intense enthusiasm that makes your class incredibly enjoyable.” The fond smile on Nico’s face only grew.
“Was that Miles Jenkins?” Nico nodded with a laugh. “Yeah, that boy loves his descriptive language. But that’s really great to hear. High school kids didn’t like me in high school, but it’s nice to hear they seem to like me now.”
“Who wouldn’t like you? If we went to high school together, I’d have the biggest crush on you. I’d give you my letterman’s jacket.” Levi searched for any hint of teasing in Nico’s expression, but he looked sincere. But before Levi could respond, Nico stood up. “I have to go. I’m the boys’ tennis coach and we have tryouts today. But you should eat lunch with me tomorrow.” With a wink - a wink - he made his way out of the room.
Levi and Nico began eating lunch together daily, at least whenever one of them didn’t have cafeteria duty. The two men found they had a lot in common, both originally planning to pursue medicine before falling in love with teaching. They both loved procedural crime shows and took enjoyment in matchmaking their students when they sensed a crush. Nico had even convinced Levi to join him at the gym, while Levi had loaned him his Harry Potter books, only to have them returned a week later by an excited Nico. One Thursday, Levi had brought some extra pasta to share with Nico and a new tradition was born. Now, every Thursday, they’d trade off bringing a lunch to share.
This Thursday, Nico had brought some meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and green beans, one of Levi’s favorite meals. “So a few days ago I mention, off-handedly, that my mom’s meatloaf is my favorite and then you just happen to bring in meatloaf for lunch?”
Nico shrugged. “I found a new recipe. Figured you’d enjoy.”
Levi tried to bite down his smile, but it broke through and overtook his face. “Uh huh, sure.”
Nico matched his smile. “So how’s your AP class going? That one’s always a bit difficult.”
“It’s actually great. The students have a lot of enthusiasm, and it makes my job so much easier. And they really pay attention, you know? It can get kind of convoluted at times, but I never see them start to lose interest. Labs with them are the best too! They treat it like it’s the most fun they could possibly have. I mean, it’s definitely stressful having to teach to a test, but the students make it all worth it.”
He looked up from his short speech to see an unreadable look on Nico’s face. He furrowed his brow, about to ask what was wrong, but then Nico burst out: “Go out with me!”
Levi’s eyes grew comically wide. “What?”
“God, I was going to be all smooth and ask you out for drinks or something after a long week. But… you’re the cutest person I’ve ever seen and watching you geek out about your class just… I couldn’t contain myself.” Nico was blushing, which Levi found ridiculously endearing.
“You had a plan.”
“Yeah, and I blew it. Just forget I said anything and let’s go back to just being work buddies and I’ll continue to pine away in silence. It’s cool.”
“Are you kidding me?! I’ve had a crush on you since you came to introduce yourself the first day!” Levi exclaimed this a bit too loudly, drawing amused looks from the other teachers in the staff room.
“Um, let’s go somewhere. My classroom is right around the corner.” Nico stood and pulled Levi up, leading him into his classroom.
After he shut the door, Levi launched himself at Nico, pushing him against the door and giving him an intense kiss. A few moments later, he remembered himself and pulled away, leaving a dazed Nico in his wake. A dazed Nico who let out an honest to God whine.
“Hey, no. We’re at work. At a high school. Where we work. It’s definitely not the time or place.” Levi stroked Nico’s cheek.
“We should be allowed to do that all the time always everywhere.”
Levi chuckled. “But not here. At least, not right now.”
“But you’re going to date me, right? Like, we can go to dinner and see a movie and have a goodnight kiss that is just a bit longer than it should be?” Nico looked overwhelmingly hopeful.
“Yeah. Yeah, I want to go out with you.” They gazed at each other with dopey smiles.
On Monday, Lydia raised her hand as soon as the bell rang. “Yes, Lydia?”
“So I went to the movies with a few friends on Friday night. And I saw you and Mr. Kim. So I was right, right? He is into you!” The class was suddenly radiating with excitement.
“Lydia, Mr. Kim and I are your teachers. What we do in our free time is none of your business.” Levi tried to be stern, but he couldn’t deny that Lydia had called it from day one.
“Well, Mr. Schmitt, if you and Mr. Kim are dating, then congratulations! And if you’re not, you should because most of us agree that you two would be an absurdly great couple.” A bunch of students nodded. “And I want to be at the wedding.”
Levi laughed. “We’ll see. Okay, books away! Time for your periodic elements quiz!”

JAMB expo or exam runz
I have mentioned it several times that there is nothing like JAMB expo or exam runz. If you keep at it, you will end up in the hands of fraudsters that will collect your money and send you fake JAMB questions and answers. Here's the good news, you can definitely pass JAMB 2020 without any runz.
Tumblr media
Jamb examination is not as difficult as it is painted by so many persons. Jamb usually give out syllabus. They (Jamb) have never set questions outside their syllabus. If you can go through their syllabus then you are good to go.
First and foremost, we all know that JAMB questions are usually objective and the way you read for objective type questions is not the same way you read for theory or subjective type.
The general entry requirements for admission into the First Degree, National Diploma (ND), National Innovation Diploma (NID) and Nigeria Certi?cate in Education (NCE) programmes in Universities, other degree-awarding Institutions, Monotechnics, Polytechnics, Innovation Enterprise Institutions and Colleges of Education
JAMB is not a theory examination where you can write your thoughts. In objective questions, the answer to a question is among the options. ... To pass for JAMB examination once and above 300, you must prepare your mind and body. You need the mind to understand what you read, you need the body to carry the mind
The length of time a candidate is expected to use and answer all the 250 questions in the JAMB CBT duration is still 3 hours – 30 minutes. The allocated time of 3 hours, 30 Minutes is more than enough to write and review all questions in the CBT examination! Only if you are well prepared for the examination.
Only aspiring will be required to submit JAMB result in addition to other required documents. Now, how many subjects are written in JAMB? The answer is 4 subjects and English Language is compulsory. Mind you, the subjects you choose must be core subjects.
JAMB is a body that conduct the exam called UTME. The body was empowered by Federal Government to conduct matriculation examinations for entry into all polytechnics and colleges of education in the country and to place suitably qualified candidates in the available places in these institutions.
The official score set by JAMB which guarantees your admission to study Pharmacy at any school which offers the course is set at 200 generally.
Yes, Civic Education is a now a matriculated SSCE subject. Hence, if a candidate has it in place of another relevant SSCE subject to the proposed course, schools are ordained to accept it except otherwise stated in the JAMB brochure.
In case we are speaking about JAMB subject combination for law and WAEC, it's a list of nine subjects: Mathematics, English language, literature, Economics, Government CRS/IRS, Biology, one Nigerian language and or Agricultural sciences. ... UI allows exams in sciences
Jamb direct (DE) entry candidates are not to sit for the Jamb examination. However, Jamb has announced that schools are at liberty to set aptitude tests for candidates who apply for direct entry there.
