OC-tober Day 15: Bravest OC

Blixer. Definitely Blixer. You have to be pretty brave to decide to break into the most heavily guarded City, get to the center without being killed, and corrupt the Tree of Purity. He pulled it off despite being drunk, having an injured shoulder, and only a single gun with 6 rounds.

I referenced this pose, there's no way I could do that perspective/foreshortening without a reference (I'm including the sketch with this one because I kinda like how it looked before I added his clothes better)

Still a day behind, I didn't have time to get caught up today. Maybe I will tomorrow (probably not)

Sorry that this took me so long to finish! I was going to have it finished last week but then I had to pack and move to another state, then start classes at my new college.

Thank you to my cousin Duilena (not on Tumblr, she has a DeviantArt and Instagram though) for helping me color the pages so I could finish in time!

This might be my last comic entry since college has started, but we'll see.

Clash of the Cubes - Challenge 4

“Welcome back everyone, to the Clash of the Cubes! Hopefully everyone’s excited for the next challenge, because I sure as heck am, heheheh!”

“Now you competitors are probably wondering… ‘hey awesome host what’s the next contest (please don’t torture us)’. Well, we have no time to waste! So may I present….”

Pulse pulls a lever, and a large gate opens, revealing a very treacherous and dangerous obstacle course.

“Yep, Your next challenge, handmade by yours truly, is to go through my ULTIMATE OBSTACLE COURSE OF DEADLY PROPORTIO-!!!“

“WHAT???”

A door you didn’t even know was a door slams open, and out comes...

“Oh hi Step!”

“You’re going to make your contestants go through THAT???”

“Relax, it’s not like they’re dead forever. We got a respawn pad here in the start!”

“It will still be very painful though! And a little traumatizing.”

“So what? It’s not like your challenges were that safe either. Your 4th challenge had my knife rain.”

“It was supposed to be a stupid puzzle!!! And- wait did you say that was you”

“…”

“…”

“…Aaaaanyyywaaaaayyy… Your challenge starts in three—”

“Nuh uh, I say that I will decide the challenge this time for the knives last time!”

“…You know what? Okay. Sure.”

“Wait really?”

“I haven’t thought of a fifth challenge yet, so you do it.”

“….Alright then, sweet!”

“Okay, contestants! So this time, I’ve been thinking that you gotta relieve some tension! Which is why your next challenge…”

“…Is to play Patty-Cake with your Blixers!”

“Patty-Cake? Really?”

“I mean it’s the only clapping game Nyazhi knows that isn’t from the Philippines.”

“Ah got it. But what if the two of them refuse, or if one of the pink guys attack?”

“Oh, dunno actually—”

“Knew you’d say that, so i got these.”

Pulse takes out some shock collars.

“wh- WAIT WHY DO YOU HAVE THESE ON THE GO???? And why are they all square shaped—”

“So if your Blixer refuses to cooperate, these shock collars will activate, knocking ‘em out for… 20? 30? Wait no, 30 years.”

“wait what”

“If that happens, what you must do instead is to tuck em in bed…. in the most ridiculous pose you can imagine”

“Now unlike the last 3 challenges, I’ll be upfront with how you get my Bonus Points. You gotta complete at least 3 rounds of Patty-Cake the quickest, or make the funniest pose ever.”

“With that said, you have 10 days. Let the challenge begin.”

“Goodluck contestants!”

OC-tober/Inktober Day 3: Newest OC

I'm behind on OC-tober because I got sick, luckily I'm feeling better so I'll try to catch up tomorrow.

Anyways this is Samuel, a member of the Wall Guard who lost his right arm in the "incident" 5 years ago.

Sadly he was right handed, so he had to re-learn how to do everything with his left hand

...Yeah, he's based off of that plant that Blixer stomps on in the JSAB intro/opening credits

OC-tober/Inktober Day 16: Pink

This is Joseph, Blixer's father He was a really good guy, (TW under cut for mention of abuse)

He helped Blixer's mother escape from the abusive relationship she was trapped in with Levi's father It's a shame that he died in a mine shaft collapse when Blixer was barely a year old Yeah... I'm still a day behind. I probably won't be caught up for a while because I have to finish a detailed still life drawing, a painting, and an essay this weekend for college.

OC-Tober/Inktober Day 25: OC Least Like Yourself

Luther, one of the worst criminals the City had seen for several decades. It took months of work and nearly the entire police force to track him down, and once he was finally captured he was tried and served the worst punishment available: Banishment to the Corrupted Wastes, somewhere where he wouldn't be able to cause any more harm... At least, not to Pure Shapes.

Nobody cares what happens in the Wastes, as long as it doesn't affect them.

He caused a lot more harm after his banishment. Possibly more than he ever did in the City.

What did he do to bet banished? Well... (TW under cut for violence)

He was a serial killer and the ringleader of a large criminal organization.

This is Cerulean, she's a florist! She is also Cyan's girlfriend They've known each other for five years, and have been dating for two. Cyan wants to propose to her, but doesn't feel like he's found the "right time" yet

Salvatore, the resident evil scientist in my AU

He has influence over nearly every politician/person of power in the Pure City, and has the Governor in the palm of his hand.

He's basically allowed to do whatever he wants, but the general public has no knowledge of his unethical experiments.

Yes, his right hand/lower arm is corrupted. The hand that has the glove (left) is not.

I ended up pairing Percy (Flowers of Antimony) and Jess (Lycan) together

Not only do they not meet each other for a very long time, Jess is already in a serious relationship at that point and does not like Percy AT ALL (Percy also does not particularly care for her either)

But I had to draw a crackship so...

This is Governor Louis, probably one of the most cowardly characters in my AU. He's not my version of Cube, that's Cassandra. However, he's her father.

OC-Tober/Inktober Day 14: Wooden

How is this wooden? Well you see... They're carpenters/woodworkers They are Edward and Clara, Barracuda's parents. They took Blixer in when he was 7 and raised him alongside Barracuda. They treated him like he was their son, and taught him the family trade.

They're fairy well off, especially for Corrupted shapes. They're far from wealthy, but have enough that they aren't living paycheck-to-paycheck or at risk of starving. They were well off enough that they could afford to take Blixer in They are extremally skilled at their craft, to the point where they were able to get a few commissions from within the Pure City. (At least before Blixer messed everything up by attacking it) I'm a day behind now because I had WAY too much homework to do yesterday's prompt, hopefully I'll be able to catch up tomorrow

OC-tober/Inktober Day 6: OC Based Off of a Holiday

For the holiday I chose Halloween/dia de los muertos

For this one I did the grey plant (his name is Aaron), aka the first shape to ever get corrupted (also Blixer's ancestor) Though he wasn't really grey, he was light blue. When shapes get really sick/near death their color starts to fade until they go completely greyscale (only when they die slowly, when a shape is killed quickly their color doesn't fade until a while after they die)

There would definitely be some holloweeny/day of the dead like legends/traditions surrounding the corruption, and especially him as he was the first.

This is Irene, Blixer and Levi's mother I was kinda mean with this one since she ends up dying due to sickness when Blixer's only seven.
