This movie is so good. Opens a window of understanding on what veterans go through upon returning home. As well as the horrors of war these young men and women face daily. Adapted from David Finkel's book. Writer / director Jason Hall said he hopes that it causes people to start a conversation with a vet in their life or even a stranger. It certainly did with me. Eye-opening and heart opening. Shines a light on the underfunded and understaffed veterans administration, too, which is a tragedy that Congress needs to fix. Also shows some dedicated VA workers who go above and beyond.
