Hanging Tree

A dumb lil painting I did last night!

Based off a reoccurring nightmare I’ve had for a few years :0

There is a abandoned fox den in the woods behind my house

Sometimes when I walk by it I hear panting or slight shuffling, but it’s too deep to see inside

At night I hear constant wails of something inhuman, raspy and heaving. Screaming into the night air

I try to ignore it, but lately it seems to sound closer each night. Along with that scratching against my window pane.

Not sure if there is much more to this thing, only the upper face ever peaks out.

Hate would see what the rest of the fleshy thing looks like

I just wish that twisted rotting grin’s stench didn’t linger in my closet for so long

The trick is to hide under the desks away from it.

Sometimes it stomps silently, but it’s bleeding sinus’s give it away. Silently stalking the hallways from above, only small drips in the dark giving it away.

Stay under the desks and out of the halls.
