Whyyy am i so affected after UST lost game 3 against DLSU?When in fact im a huge fan of the green archers ever since?... Whyy? My heart literally breaks when i saw jeric teng crying...man! It's his last year...he gave his all...everybody saw that! Definitely has the biggest heart...sad to say it's a team game...let's face it... He can't win the game alone especially when they are up against a tough team...jeric don't worry you may have not won a title in your uaap days, but believe me/us your supporters...you will definitely bag one or more in your pba career! Pba is waiting for you! The UST community is sooo lucky to have you... <3 Hats off to you...KING TIGER! You are the real MVP! Jeron... I know how much you wanted to win the championship but i also know that deep in your heart you wanted your brother to win the title more... Recognizing your brother as well as raising his hand is one great act! Kudos to you my love... Seeing your face confused how to feel...is another heart breaking...you wanted to fully smile but just couldn't... Man you deserve to win too...you did your best...congrats! :) Anyway jeric wins too... everyone knows that, it's just his team who didn't. I just can't believe that how i felt earlier was just so similar to how i feel everytime ginebra loses a huge game... The game has that kind of impact... Totally a blast! Congrats DLSU and UST for putting a great fight! Congrats too UAAP76 for another memorable season... Jeric & Jeron you guys are ball monsters! I love you both... We'll meet soon...i know haha :)))

Dear Tigers,

First of all, Thank you! Thank you for playing your hearts out for the whole UST community. We may not have gotten the result we wanted, I just want you to know that the whole Thomasian community is still proud of you guys! Personally, I am proud of this team. I just can’t imagine how big your heart is to survive not one, not two, but THREE do-or-die games just to get in to the Finals. That right there is something to be proud of already. For me, that championship trophy would just be an icing to the cake. For me, you are already the champions!

From the moment you ousted ADMU, taking the last Final Four spot to winning back-to-back against NU to get in to the Finals, I was already awed by this team. Honestly, I was losing hope when I found out that you had to play a do-or-die game against ADMU to get that last spot of the FInal Four , but then, you proved me WRONG! Not only did you get that last Final Four Spot, you even entered the Finals (and once again proving me WRONG and defying those statistics that no number four seed has beaten the number one seed twice to enter the finals.). I don’t know how you did it, but you guys did it! THOSE WINS ARE GREAT ACHIEVEMENTS ALREADY!

Maybe, this season wasn’t really for us. Maybe God has better plans for this team. Think about it: Last year, when you lost to ADMU, you were all devastated, but then, come the PCCL, you were the one who came out on top. Just because you didn’t get what you wanted, it doesn’t mean that God didn’t hear your prayers. He did.  Believe me when I say that you are still BLESSED.  Plus, we all know that God answers our prayers in three ways: He says “yes” and give us what we want, “no” because He knows that we deserve something better, or “not yet” because He’ll give us the best in His time.

I know it’s hard right now. I know it’s still painful. Go ahead, be sad, cry if you want to but I hope that at the end of the day you won’t lose hope and you could still keep your heads up! Just BELIEVE that someday, your day will come as well. We just don’t know when but for sure, when that day comes, that would be the greatest day for all of us and all of you would be able to say, “This day is worth the wait!”

To coach Pido and the whole coaching staff, I know this is heartbreaking for you as well. But THANK YOU! You are also the reason why the team’s playing the way they’re playing, especially for those crucial wins! Props to you for that as well! I hope that you won’t give up on this team. I know that you could continue to bring out the best in them just like what you have been doing for the past 8 years.

Lastly, I just wanna give credits to our graduating players: Jeric Teng and Clark Bautista. Thank you for choosing UST. Thank you for always playing your hearts out for UST. I know being a student-athlete is one hell of a tough life, but somehow you managed to do it! I’m no student-athlete but I know how hard it is to maintain grades in UST. So for you to do that plus those tiring practices you do after class, you two must be one tough cookie. ;) I salute you for that! Your time donning the UST jersey may have ended, but I know that it won’t be the end of your basketball careers. UAAP is just the beginning and I know that, given your skills, you two have a great future ahead of you. and hey, I might even see the two of you wearing a PBA team’s jersey. ;) So, to the both of you, I have 7 words: THANK YOU, GOOD LUCK, and GOD BLESS YOU!
