No offense to anyone, but mxtx was right when she said Lan Xichen got where he is due to nepotism, like, i love that guy but trying to fix the relationship between your besties with a bromance cerimony would only work with no horrible repercusions if they were just fratboys, not sect/son of sect's leaders because in that case it certainly looks like a political power block made up by three of the five main clans.
