Thurrock Thameside Nature Park - Centre Assistant

Are you great with people? Our Thameside centre is looking for extra help in the cafe and on the reception desk.

Our friendly team at Thurrock Thameside are looking for volunteers in the visitor centre. We also have opportunities out on the reserve. 

Tasks include welcoming visitors, using the till, encouraging donations, stocking up the shelves, answering the phone, serving refreshments and taking event bookings. 

We are looking for volunteers particularly on a Friday and Saturday but you may be able to help on other days if prefered.

Dress codes🙄

So my friend Jimmya got dress coded today for her shorts bein “too short” when she really just has long arms 1. 2. Her shorts were perfectly fine cuz there was nothing poking out and they came down to her mid-thigh. So all the girls (and some boys) in 8th grade are wearing something black to represent her because she’s black, and breaking the dress code. They can’t put all of us in ISS or suspend all of us cuz it’d look bad on their board thingy. We’re bout to look like some rebellious BO$$ A$$ PEOPLE$
