His allotpun is "Jingle Jangle", which is a nod towards the sound of bells and a common clown stagename!

His fathers allotpun is "Jingle Bells" because his full name is Jingle Bellzen Jangle. Topsi Turvy is his mother, and hers is "topsy turvy" because she's an acrobat!

Sparklecare Oneshots lets gooo

Okay, so while I work on the actual fanfic, I figured I'd want to write some Oneshots as well because the amount of fanfiction this fandom has is CRIMINAL. So yeah vote for which one you wanna see the most! I'm also open to suggestions as well of course, in case there's something else you wanna read!! (Note that Jinkles, Plug, and Bree are all ocs of mine)

So, building onto the last ask, Jinkles knew Cuddles from a pretty young age (they were both around 11 when they first met)

At first Cuddles was really weirded out by Jinkles. They originally met only because their parents scheduled a dinner party between their two families. This was mainly because Cuddles was born into a very wealthy family, whereas Jinkles' parents were very famous showdogs. His dad was a decently popular mime and entertainer named Jingle Bellzen Jangle, while his mom was a renowned acrobatic named Topsi Turvy (she kept her maiden name). The dinner party was originally just meant for the adults, but Topsi and Jingle couldn't find anyone to babysit Jinkles and just brought him along because they were feeling nice that day (they usually just left him alone when going on long trips)

They sort of just threw Cuddles, Jinkles, and Cuddles' sister together in a room while they had dinner because they didn't want to be bothered since it was business related. During that time Cuddles begrudgingly spoke to Jinkles because he had nothing else to do other than speak to his little sister (who he has always found very annoying) and ended up becoming friends with Jinkles, who would come over to his house regularly afterwards due to having no want to stay home since he was- usually all alone there. Jinkles' parents weren't very interested in him, at all really.

Cuddles didn't really start off as a bad guy in my sorta kinda au (? I'm not sure if it would count as that considering we don't know his kinda backstory) it was a gradual thing caused by both himself and his parents, who basically taught him everything he knew about being selfish, greedy, and power hungry.

Even as Cuddles became more concerning in his ways Jinkles still cared deeply about him. Jinkles didn't actually find anything wrong in the way that Cuddles was, considering his parents were very similar to Cuddles' own. Even when Cuddles got plastic surgery and founded the hospital, Jinkles didn't move from his side at all, even being willing to help with the whole thing. Jinkles doesn't really care about what happens to others, as long as he's able to see Cuddles happy.

Sorry if this was more heavy than you were expecting!! I think I'll make a post about more lighthearted stuff about Jinkles to make up for this, lmao

OHHH MY STARS YESSS YES

Okay, so, Jinkles is the one I'm gonna talk about because honestly he has the most fleshed out backstory and personality! He's both the ringmaster and clown of a circus that specializes in doing "acts" for the patients at Sparklecare, which don't usually end up with all the patients participating going back to their rooms without a scratch. I'm still working on the other circus members, but I can say that one is an aardwolf and another is a maned wolf! Generally speaking the circus is mainly made up of canines, considering Jinkles himself is a mudi dog!

He's good "friends" with Cuddles and has known him since childhood, around about middle school! Jinkles didn't have the best parents, so he grew up watching and doing stuff he probably shouldn't have been. This in turn ended up with him believing that violence and other not so legal things were fine to do, because he didn't have really any guidance from any good sources :(

Cuddles (Or Cutta/Cuts, as Jinkles calls him) was really the first person to show Jinkles any form of attention or care, so Jinkles is extremely attached to him and would do anything to make him happy. He really REALLY cares about Cuddles but isn't really sure if Cuddles feels the same way.

In other smaller notes, Jinkles is like 5'11 and nobody knows what age he really is, just that it's over 20. He's trans male and panromantic, as well as demisexual! You'll know a lot more details about why his parents weren't really around because there's actually gonna be a special chapter in the Sparklecare fanfiction I'm writing that's going to be focused on his middle school years and how he came to meet Cuddles in the first place!

Anyways I changed S!Jinkles' gown a bit to, y'know, actually look like a hospital gown, and made his little freckles hearts instead. Also I forgot the dots on Plugs hospital gown but he'll be fine (I am so tired)

Random facts about my Sparklecare OCs because I am in an info dumping mood

I love my OCs a bit too much mayhaps. Anyways (feel free to send asks as always)

Jinkles was raised on Spinch's equivalent to Newgrounds. He actually did a few of his own animations on there

Jinkles, Cindy, and Meowsk (Cindy and Meowsk are both circus performers) live in the same house. They've got a weird somewhat QPR thing going on, even they don't know what it is but they don't really care

In Cometcare Bree uses a cane sometimes to help her stand up straight due to its fatigue. Although it's just a plain dark purple cane Puppy likes to put random stickers on it to make Bree feel better about its disability

Bailee (Puppy x Bree fankid) actually has a decent relationship with Jinkles in Cometcare, though she obviously doesn't know what he's done. She calls him "Uncle Jinks" because of the friendship between him and Bree, plus he was the one to expose her to babymetal music

Jinkles is completely declawed in the Cometcare au as a "safety regulation" by the government. He's super insecure about it and therefore always wears gloves, even when he's completely alone. His mental health has taken a bit of a toll because of it and he doesn't enjoy taking showers because he has to look at his bare hands. It's not really the claws themselves that upset him, it's the fact that they're missing to remind him of what he did

Cindy and Meowsk end up having a kid together in Cometcare! Jinkles never has any children in that au because he is deathly afraid of doing something wrong as a parent, but he helps the two when they need it

When Jinkles was a teen the first person he came out as trans to was Cuddles; he didn't tell his family until he was almost an adult. Not really because his family wouldn't accept him, moreso because of his own dysphoria and self-hatred. It took him forever to even tell Cuddles in the first place because of how nervous he was internally

Plug loathes Jinkles for many reasons, especially since Jinkles continues to eat all of the shredded cheese in the employee workroom anytime he brings it in to make omelettes for breakfast. Considering he has very early hours he just tries to make breakfast on the workroom stove but Jinkles somehow always finds a way to eat the entire bag before he makes any food. Nobody knows how but everyone is equally concerned

Plug becomes a movie director in Cometcare :) he's also in a relationship with Barry. He has another relationship but considering part of the full-length fanfiction plays into that I'm just gonna leave it blank for now

Building onto Cometcare jobs, Bree becomes a popular taxidermist because of her expertise in the field. Jinkles doesn't have a job. Jinkles is not doing well in that au if you couldn't tell. The only reason he has anywhere to live is because he still shares a house with Cindy and Meowsk
