If i had a nickel for every time grizzlyplays has made a sapphic pirate captain npc whos girlfriend is dead and shes now morally questionable because of it, id have two nickels. Which isnt a lot but its weird that its happened twice, right?

in jrwi riptide ep 107 at around 1:31 gillion punched one of a persons limbs off by accident with a nat 20 and for some reason the ensuing scene reminded me of that bit in the snapcube real time fandub of sonic 06 where mephiles/memphis tennessee kills sonic with a laser spike through the chest and then he's like "oh my god that was an accident oh im sorry oh are you ok" etc. idk they just have the same vibes to me

i would like to add this because i forgot to post it during my liveblog but gillion never introduced himself as "champion of the undersea, hero of the deep" even though he was set up for it multiple times and everything. he just introduced himself with his name. good for him good for him
