Sensex, Nifty Move Higher, Today’s Tops Stocks In Action

The benchmark indices, Sensex & Nifty, opened on a flat note on Wednesday, and quickly moved higher with gains in IT, Pharma and realty sectors. At 9:50 hrs, the BSE index Sensex, was trading up 48 points at 38,411-mark. The Nifty50 index of NSE was up 6 points at 11,538.95. Asian STOCKS were mixed as investors followed a careful stance prior to the Fed Reserve's policy result and further news on US-China trade discussion. In the Nifty50 pack, shares of IndiaBulls Housing Finance, Infosys Wipro, Hindalco and Vedanta were among the top gainers, whereas the Zee Entertainment, Indian Oil Corp, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum were the top losers on the NSE. Among stocks, DLF was up2.35% after the company announced its joint venture (JV) with Hines. Shares of Muthoot Capital Services were up about 1% to Rs896 per share after the company completed a securitization transaction of Rs236.36crore. Shares of Jubilant Life Science Ltd falls 5.42% to Rs.796 per share 3.3 million shares change hands in a block-deal.
