all characters live in a fictional town. not so big, not so small. no one has ever left this town, even though it's possible, people just don't really have enough information about the world outside it and they are afraid to leave. but there is some people who have moved here, tho there is VERY few of them. for example, j is the first person who wasn't born here in 50 years. she moved here because she thought it was an isolated place and no one would know her, but her not being from this town have attracted a lot of attention. she wants to build a theatre where hu jing and other musicians and actors could perform.

charles never leaves his house. he is kinda paranoid here because he believes people here will try to hurt him any chance they have (dont blame him tho theyre suspicious as hell). he sells medicines and all that stuff (with whit's help since charles himself can't communicate) which brings him a lot of money since the outside world doesn't provide it and there is no one else who can make these

and finally whit, who is kind of famous here. he lives with charles and helps him, like communicating with people for him which i mentioned earlier and basically just not let him die. whit also knows like a lot about all that is happening in the town so he tells all important news to others (and it's pretty helpful due to frequent power outages and poor media)

hello fellow aliens!! i never thought this would become a daily thing, but i really like doing it and hearing your guys thoughts, so if you guys genuinely like this kind of stuff please tell me. it would help. THANK YOU!! so instead of discussing ships, im going to talk about one of my suspects, j. i REALLYYYY dont want it to be her but some things that shes done has made me a bit suspicious of her.

(SPOILERS FOR CHAPTER 2 EPISODE 12 DRDT)

one of these not being her fault, but just something i noticed. the drdt episodes in the past have had key moments as the thumbnail, most of the time. but then we look at chapter 2 episode 12's thumbnail and we see j. (or julia) and to me, it kind of seems like shes hidding from the silhouette while having this kind of.. sad look to her face i guess? so maybe regret?? but i dont really know how to explain it.

going to the next topic, i will be mentioning stuff thats in the trial. for example i found it REALLY WEIRD that j was really quick to put the blame on arturo right after charles statement. which would lead them back to step one, making them retrace their steps. maybe im really overthinking all this, and maybe she did this all out of anger, but this could also be an attempt to draw less attention to her so that they don't end up concluding she's arei's killer.

now to her weapon. i genuinely think she could have activated the remote to turn on a spinning contraption to pull on arei's rope, leading to her death, since the remote has an unknown usage.

i really hope j isnt the killer, and that im just overthinking, but we never know. once again, thank you for reading all this. whats your opinion on the new episode? id like to know! any theorys you guys want me to address??(if any of this information is wrong, please tell me so i can correct it! THANK YOU!!)

trial 3 death prediction

so i was rewatching drdt chapter one and i noticed something in episode 8 when whit reveals everyone’s custom weapons. he wrote j’s full name, julia, before it ever came out that that was her name. her name being julia had never been established before chapter 2, right? so how could he even know that?

sadly this only supports the theory that whit may be the mastermind but i really don’t want it to be true. i know j had scratched out her name on her bedroom door but i don’t think there’s any way whit could have known in chapter 1

As for my favorite line, I’ll have to say literally any time she’s yelling. Maybe the one where she’s roasting Ace about something that I can’t remember right now. I think it was during the cafeteria scene? I hope I’m not crazy

it's a b-cember to remember here at spooky tuesday! to finish the year in festive fashion, we decided to do one last lil theme month and dedicate december to b horror movies, so of course we had to start with a classic. creature from the black lagoon (1954) may have marked the end of the monster movie era, but it laid the ground work for a whole bunch of famous scary movies that followed. guillermo del toro's the shape of water is an obvious one — but steven spielberg was taking notes for jaws, too. on our latest episode, we're talking film history, four foot dicks, and lighting things on fire.
