jungle boy and luchasaurus have a disagreement.

“But-”

“No! For the last time Jungle Boy, you can’t have ice cream for dinner!”

Jungle Boy was not a fan of that response. His facial expression changed and he went silent, clearly showing off that he was mad. He started walking over to the freezer.

“What are you doing?” Luchasaurus asked

Jungle Boy didn’t answer. He slowly pulled out a bag of dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets.

“Are those dino nuggets? I told you to stop getting those when we go to the store!”

No answer. Jungle Boy grabbed a plate and started scattering the dino nuggets on it. He made sure to get at least one of every shape before walking over to the microwave.

He throws his plate in the microwave. It’s not his preferred method but, he’s not allowed to use the oven and he’s too mad at Luchasaurus to ask for any help.

He went to grab his food out but pulled back when his fingers came into contact with the hot plate. He stared at his slightly red finger and pouted from the pain.

Luchasaurus sighed. “Do you want me to grab it for you?”

Jungle Boy turned back to face him. He was still visibly mad. He shook his head no.

He improvised, using his shirt to grab out the plate and place it on the table. He walked over to the fridge to grab out condiments.

“Do you really have to use ketchup?”

Luchasaurus was ignored yet again. He watched as Jungle Boy shook the bottle and poured the ketchup onto his plate.

Jungle Boy stared directly at Luchasaurus as he dipped a dino nugget in ketchup and bit the head off. He repeated the process for every single dino nugget on his plate. Dipping the dino nuggets head in ketchup and biting it off, all while maintaining eye contact.

“Alright. Totally not concerning or disturbing at all.” Luchasaurus remarked.

When Jungle Boy finished, he stood up to drop his plate off in the sink. He opened the freezer and grabbed out the tub of ice cream. Luchasaurus immediately grabbed the tub, placing it back in the freezer and closing the door before speaking up.

“I didn’t even say you could have ice cream and if I did, you still have to wait an hour. Go sit down and wait while I’m cooking.”

Jungle Boy went to leave the kitchen, not before trying to grab a banana to snack on.

“Put the banana back! You can’t have that either!” Luchasaurus said.

That comment pushed Jungle Boy over his limit. He turned around and threw the banana at Luchasaurus. It didn’t hurt at all but, he was almost in shock that Jungle Boy actually threw something at him. He reacted in the way he thought was best.

“THAT’S IT! GO TO YOUR ROOM!” Luchasaurus pointed down the hall.

Jungle Boy huffed and stomped his foot before going to his room. He slammed the door shut, walking over to sit on his bed.

Luchasaurus facepalmed, shaking his head in the process. “Kids.” He sighed.

Sometimes I wonder if the way Luchasaurus was observing and tilting his head at Jack was his way of conveying how much he didn't recognize him anymore,,,
