want to pop in and say im alive!! barely, but im still here!

i’ve been swamped with some real hard-ass frighteningly-real-life shit that have all decided to show up all at once.

for me writing is something i find time for because it’s completely therapeutic but right now i’ve been having to delegate my time to some not-so-fun stuff and i haven’t had the time to write. im hoping that changes soon but just want to give y’all a heads up that there’ll be (even more) of a lull in the near future :( but the light at the end of the tunnel is that krcg will 100% be completed—i have everything mapped out and it’s just the logistics of time that stands between me and the story being completed!

I only knew I was pregnant for a week, so I didn’t expect the emotions to hit me so hard when I started having a miscarriage, but they did. Last week, lots of years of hopes and dreams we weren’t sure would ever be fulfilled suddenly came to life. This Christmas season felt so exciting and full of promise. Now everything is tinged with grief, and I know I’m going to have trouble navigating through it all

DA:I had some really good and compelling themes about faith and the nature of divine will that they seemed to just drop at the end in favor of kicking the shit out of Corypheus.

After the big deal they made of it with the hymn scene, then carried on by multiple conversations with even not-that-religious companions, I thought they were going somewhere with it, but lol nope

In Trespasser they could have at least done something with the juxtaposition of the idea that the Maker was guiding the Inquisitor/Inquisition with the reality that the unwashed hobo apostate & reluctant Elvhen god was pulling the strings, but nope. Guess not.
