Honda WR-V 2022 ra mắt vào tháng 8, đấu Raize, Sonet

Tại Triển lãm Ô tô Quốc tế Indonesia Gaikindo 2021, Honda đã gây bất ngờ khi trưng bày một mẫu xe mang tên RS Concept SUV. Chiếc xe này được dự đoán là sản phẩm chủ lực mới nhất của Honda với vai trò làm đối trọng của Toyota Raize, hay Kia Sonet tại các thị trường Đông Nam Á.

Tên chính thức là Honda WR-V

Được biết, phiên bản sản xuất của RS Concept SUV sẽ được đặt tên là Honda WR-V và chắc chắn sẽ là một trong những chiếc xe được mong đợi nhất tại triển lãm tại GIIAS 2022 diễn ra tại Indonesia vào tháng 8 năm 2022. Sau đó, Honda WR-V sẽ gia nhập phân khúc SUV cỡ nhỏ vốn là thị trường của Toyota Raize, Kia Sonet. Và Honda WR-V ra đời cũng sẽ là cái kết cho dòng xe cỡ nhỏ ra mắt vào 2018 của hãng: Honda Brio. Bản thân Honda WR-V là tên một dòng xe được bán trước đó ở một số quốc gia như Ấn Độ và Brazil, dựa trên Honda Jazz GK5.

Trước đó, tại Việt Nam Honda cũng chấp nhận khai tử dòng xe Jazz có thiết kế khá lạ. Dựa trên cơ sở dữ liệu tại NJKB Samsat DKI Jakarta, nhiều khả năng phiên bản sản xuất của RS Concept SUV sử dụng động cơ 1.500 cc tương tự như Honda Jazz, có thể có có phiên bản động cơ tăng áp. Honda WR-V 2022 được cho là cũng sẽ có các tính năng Honda Sensing như Honda BR-V và HR-V. Cũng phải có đầy đủ tính năng đó mới có khả năng đấu lại Toyota Raize với nhiều trang bị thông minh.
