I will say that I think I’m going to go ahead and leave the recommended guide alone and do:

Clark next (whatever ending the good Lord gives me) --> Sam (GOOD ENDING ONLY I cannot consider otherwise --> Tom (my soulmate by default if Sam did not exist) -->Doug/PopTart/Garth

...and then maybe I’ll try Peter’s route again.
