It's hard to believe that I won't ever again bump into him at a music event, be greeted by his reassuring head nod, hear his deep, hearty laugh, talk to him about music, or tease him about not giving him a ride uptown after some late night hang with @kaialce.

Sending love to Funmi's family and friends, (especially Kai), as we grapple with the immense loss of this towering, ever-present fixture in NYC's music & culture spaces.

Today feels particularly cruel with the passing of #AmpFiddler and Funmi. 😢

As the old saying states, “The proof is in the pudding.” House in the Park ATL 2018 was a huge success! Tickets sold out before the day was finished! Despite all of the backlash, negative energy, criticism and threats of non support, it was a sell out event! I know change is hard and difficult to adjust to, but it’s necessary for growth and evolution. You have to mess up before you “success up”. You have to try something new in order to be triumphant. The new vendor market space, easier access to food trucks that were closer to the dance floor, larger space to dance in & more. Today was a major step for House in the Park Atlanta and it was a successful one.
