He is located in Lexington, KY, and has over 25 years of experience in the medical field. Dr. Kakaji completed his residency in Internal Medicine at The University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2006. Prior to that he completed his Internal Medicine residency at AUH in 2000, received a Master’s degree in Internal Medicine, and completed a Nephrology and Hypertension Fellowship from the University of Kentucky in 2014. Dr. Hazem Kakaji, MD is affiliated with Baptist Health Lexington and St. Joseph Hospitals. He currently holds membership in the American Society of Nephrology, National Kidney Foundation, and International Nephrology Society.
