Dr. Hazem Kakaji, MD, obtained a certification in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology from the American Board of Internal Medicine. Prior to that he completed his Internal Medicine residency at AUH in 2000, received a Master’s degree in Internal Medicine, and completed a Nephrology and Hypertension Fellowship from the University of Kentucky in 2014. Dr. Hazem Kakaji, MD is affiliated with Baptist Health Lexington and St. Joseph Hospitals. He currently holds membership in the American Society of Nephrology, National Kidney Foundation, and International Nephrology Society.
