Prior to that he completed his Internal Medicine residency at AUH in 2000, received a Master’s degree in Internal Medicine, and completed a Nephrology and Hypertension Fellowship from the University of Kentucky in 2014. Dr. Hazem Kakaji, MD is affiliated with Baptist Health Lexington and St. Joseph Hospitals.
