something that makes me. A little insane when i think about it is how, before the events of the durandal vn, kira DID achieve her goal of being a "perfect idol" thanks to one of blade durandal's gems, and gave it away willingly..... because achieving it in such way wasn't Enough.

it's something very integral to her character i think. because in theory, there's not much in kira that should even drive her to be an idol. she's Very far away from that ideal! because an idol is always kind and uplifting and perfect, and she's... well. kira is a bit of an Ass, and i say that with all the love in my heart. she's jealous, and proud, and holds grudges, and. well. can't sing. but in practice, she's exactly what an idol Should be!!!!!! because kira is completely aware of all that. no matter if she, at any given moment, acts according to her heart or her mind, she's aware of what she lacks- and she Works on it. through training to sing, yes, but also through going against her instinct and being just a bit... nicer. this really shines in the later stages of her dynamic with misteln, i think? as in, kira is still petty and gets annoyed easily but she tries. she apologizes even if it's pretty awkward and she Tolerates misteln, inwardly more than she does externally. and even despite her general demeanor, it's obvious that the "idol spirit" that she thinks herself to be incapable of truly achieving Does exist in her, even with all her flaws... she Does lift up whoever she can, whenever she can.

so when kira obtains the gem, it's a sort of... perfect solution. a miracle cure. she can sing! and she Does take it, and does perform with it, and... gives it away, when needed. she doesn't even try to fight to keep it because it goes against the very point of her journey- self improvement. kira is a perfectionist, you know, and there were far too many things she failed to keep perfect... she didn't keep the snowwolves safe, and didn't attend that final concert they wanted to put on, and kept running away into the sea of quanta instead of confronting what's left for her on earth. except she Knows that she has to do it eventually, and that keeping the gem is- ironically- only holding her back, because it prevents her from working on herself. it's no wonder she gave it away! kira is all about looking forward.

Besides height, is Blood Moon Kira mostly the same as Wayhaven Kira?

Ahaha, that would have been really good! I do love a comical difference between one form and another. Thank you for this question! I think it really got me thinking. I think their core values are mostly the same - Kira cares for her people very fiercely, be that the town of Wayhaven or the werewolf pack. They're both quick into action and aren't afraid of physical challenges.

I think Blood Moon Kira has one main difference - with having had family she grew up around, she has a level of self esteem that Wayhaven Kira lacks. Wayhaven Kira is too used to people leaving her, or not seeming to want her, that she doesn't really expect people will and has a hard time letting herself hope for it. She often thinks something about her isn't worth sticking around for. Blood Moon Kira's (for the most part) always had some sort of family, and by my understanding Blood Moon werewolves have a inherent level of interdependence, so she's never experienced the things that ruined Wayhaven Kira's self esteem.

Hey, guys sorry for being dead again. I didn't have enough time lol, anyways. I'm on the cookie run fandom after going back to anime from chinese stuff (istilllovethemtho) now im obsessed again with crk which i didn't mention about it a lot that i knew about that game before. I played it on my aunt's phone but she sadly moved away and it was only just small experience about it but i really loved, i actually got twizzling gummy cookie and herb cookie in one pull that you get 10? did i got that right? anyways, also i posted right after my red jelly exploded as i opened its cover, it reminded me as if its the blood of a cookie or what thing that is related to crk. it's funny, really. Now, the art i am posting is crk ocs named " Ancient Milk Cookie " (also he has a brother named " Beast Milk Cookie " [these "two crk ocs" HAVE OBVIOUS reference lol also another which is their youngest 'Spirit Milk Cookie'] and I basically made a whole world about it lol and it's very hillarious also thanks to @tea-the-not-understanding, it's been along time with them since they were the first person on tumblr that made me remembered about crk. I think Kira's one habit that would make Nat keel over sideways is how Kira meal preps. Typically what she does is go to a bulk-buy store like costo, buy everything she needs for at LEAST four or five weeks, cook it all up in one day, portion it out into her little glass containers, label them and pop them in her freezer to bring out and microwave as she needs them. She has two time-consuming, demanding hobbies, she doesn't have time to COOK every day!

Why the adults didn't think in put sugar in coffee to sweeten and don't taste bitter? Or it didn't work because of soot can't be sweetened?

That, I am not sure either! I'm mostly guessing that they didn't know, don't care enough, or just going with the flow on how things were done in the past. But it's pretty unlikely that they didn't know, since for example, Suzanna herself adds sugar and milk to John's coffee that one time so the taste is bearable.

Regarding the soot part, I thought it's mostly just because soot don't really mix with water nor sugar, so they can't be sweetened and perhaps stand out a lot in that aspect. But coffee is out of question, it can still be sweetened regardless.

I don't know how and when do they add the soot into the coffee, how much there is, or what side effects does it give other than brainwashing- But maybe that gives another reason as to why the coffee is bitter.
