Inspired by Kurō Hazama (aka Black Jack), and his work on Pinoko, Dr. Mohou Han decided to save a teratoid cystoma. However unlike Pinoko, this cystoma does not have a complete set of organs necessary to construct a full human being. In fact, it had multiple copies of certain organs and missing on some. But Dr. Han was persistent. He arranged what organs and tissues were available into something that was at least barely alive. He knew that whatever creature he will be creating will lead a life of pain, a monster if ever it will survive. So, he decided to sever all nerves into its thalamus to spare it from feeling pain. After hours of painstaking surgery, finally, Dr. Han had finished and declared “You are Kiruto!” Kiruto stood up laboriously. From its multiple eyes tears started flowing. Dr. Han pondered “Krito may be free from physical pain, but did I spare him from emotional pain?”  Another drawing challenge from @monsters.go , with amazing monster design by kid artist JacksonH. Since you didn't specify whether you meant manga, OVA or anime, I will try to encompass what I'm familiar with, aka manga and OVA.

Favorite character: hehe, who else could that be other than the star of the show himself, Kurō the man Hazama! Seriously, not only can he keep your attention as is, he can be many other things. He can be grim, goofy, sexy, dreamy and more!

Second favorite character: wasn't easy trying to decide on that, but this is what I'll say. Kiriko can be pretty cool. Yeah, that's it.

Least favorite character: the world of Black Jack isn't the happiest place. Can't just say "everyone but Black Jack and the closest people". I could say Pinoko, but it's actually the fandom that can be more annoying. She just doesn't know better. So, for my final guess, I chose Maria from OVA. Yep. And I don't see why Rokuro Makube is so popular either. (And can we please nuke the entire island of Sicily too?)

Character I'm most like: oh, weeell... Keeping to themselves, pensive most of the times, lonely... And immature at times. You guessed it, Black Jack and Pinoko.

Favorite pairing: ohohohoh, if you know me, you know that I adore Black Jack and Kei. I just do, what else do you need to ship?

Least favorite pairing: Black Jack and Pinoko. Ya heard me. She's a child, he's her guardian. Yes, she is a child. No, she did not learn about the world from inside her sister enough to become fully mature. Would you call such behavior mature? She's a freaking kindergartener who knows big words! And you wouldn't ship a mentally/physically disabled person with their able caretaker, right? Same here. The fact that she's in love with Black Jack doesn't make that pairing okay.

Favorite moment: several, actually. Such as, Black Jack pretending to be Dracula and getting "defeated" in the manga(yeah, you go, good guy!), Pinoko and Lesley singing a lullaby in the OVA (beautiful song, bizzare episode...), and last but not least, saying goodbye to Kei in the manga 😭(don't get me wrong, it was really sad, but it stuck with me, so it counts, right?) I could add much more though, the franchise is a golden mine.

Rating out of 10: 100000000/10. Okay, for real, the manga had its flaws, so did every other adaptation, but still, it is forgotten classic and the fifth most sold manga in the world. And honestly, no wonder. 7/10

Friendly reminder that Kurō Hazama didn’t admire Rock despite his lack of empathy, but rather, admired him for his lack of empathy. Reminder that the entire persona of Doctor Black Jack was based on Rock’s personality for this very reason. Reminder that we live in a society that constantly demonizes low empathy so seeing the protagonist of one of the most popular manga of all time admiring and emulating low empathy is honestly super important and I’m never gonna shut up about it.

OMG I think I've never shown you that I made My babies on The Sims 4.

To make Kurō's face I based on the Young Black Jack's (live action) actor and the Ovas' BJ.

I don't really remember which mods I've used, I'll search for them. I can't find a Half-white-half dark- Hair, so this is how I made Kurō.

These are Karen, Kurō, Keyrah & Pinoko Hazama. At least I tried my best to make them look like them. 😂

Excessively Detailed Headcanons

26. Do they have any plans for the future? Any contingency plans if things don’t work out?

Ok I’m like someone who has a really hard time planning out long-term goals so I’m struggling to answer here to but I THINK in terms of the long-term Rock’s current plans are just to like, finish his studies and make sure he remains finically stable. Like at the moment he just wants to make sure he’ll have a name for himself instead of having to rely on his father’s name because he doesn’t want to be a burden, which he already feels he is. He doesn’t really get too ambitious until he’s older.

27. What is their biggest regret?

Having regrets would require him to ever be at fault for anything. Moving on :/

28. Who do they see as their best friend? Their worst enemy?

His BFF minus one F is Kurō Hazama AKA Black Jack. They’ve been friends since grade school and Rock has had a huge crush for just as long. I’ve gone on extensively about how gooey and gay they are already but if I ever stop just let me know and I’ll correct myself.

As for enemies I don’t think Rock really has like, one big enemy? Like IDK there are just a lot of people he doesn’t like an a lot of people who don’t like him and he doesn’t feel any need to prioritize any of them over the others. 

29. Reaction to sudden extrapersonal disaster (eg The house is on fire! What do they do?)

There’s a lot of yelling, screaming, and blaming other people. If it’s something that really can’t be fixed right away he’ll eventually begrudgingly accept it but he’s still... a huge brat. 

30. Reaction to sudden intrapersonal disaster (eg close family member suddenly dies)

I suppose it would depend on the type of disaster but uh let’s just say the above example is what we’re talking about. In which case this has already happened but it was at a time when he was too young to properly process it so kinda difficult to say how he’d react now. I’m sure he’d be upset but like, not to the degree that people would expect, and not for as long either. He’d probably pretend to be upset about it longer just so people don’t start questioning him.

Not to say that Rock isn’t absolutely terrified of losing his father at this point (he is) just that if it actually happened he wouldn’t really be able to react properly. That and like he’s already kinda lost his father? Like the man clearly doesn’t give a shit anymore. At this point he is still desperately trying to salvage that relationship, but it’s not like things would actually be too different if his father straight up choked.
