LCD TV
LCD TV
LCD stands for Liquid Crystal Display. The main technology in TFT-LCD displays is liquid crystals. These crystals block the passage of light or release light. TFT is a thin film transistor. This technology is used to produce images from LCD panels. Today, LCD monitors using TFT technology are standard.
The working principle of LCD TV: LCD panels consist of hundreds of thousands of liquid crystal cells sandwiched between two layers of polarized glass. The light coming from the powerful lamps behind the panel is spread homogeneously on the screen by passing through a layer that provides diffusion. The light then passes through a layer of thin film transistors called TFTs (Thin Film Transistors) and then passes through color filters that adjust the amount of electricity delivered to each liquid crystal cell. Liquid crystals are activated according to the voltage difference. According to this movement pattern, the intensity and direction of polarization of the light that is given from behind changes. As a result of these processes, hundreds of thousands of pixels are obtained, which create red, blue and green colors with different proportions and brightness and provide the final image.
LCD lighting technology: LCD TVs are lit by a fluorescent lamp. This lamp starts to turn on when the TV is turned on, and the light it sends from the back to the screen always stays on. The light from here is sent to each pixel that creates the image on the screen. Since the lamp is always on, the energy consumption is very high. This fluorescent lamp is thinner than the domestic fluorescent lamp. Although LCD technology is a very new technology compared to CRT televisions, this backlight technology has been the most important weakness of these types of televisions.
Advantages of LCD TV: Thinness: It is thinner and lighter than CRT TVs. The thickness of an average LCD TV is 7-10 cm. Accordingly, its weight has also been reduced. However, it is thicker and heavier than LED and OLED TVs. Brighter Clearer: Provides a bright and high resolution image. You cannot see the dot spacing of the screen on LCD TVs. Images are equally excellent from a distance as well as up close. Of course, these superior features appear in comparison to CRT TVs, as they lag behind LED TVs in technology, in terms of color vibrancy and Lighting is behind LED TVs.
Support for new technologies: Another feature of LCD TVs is support for DVI output, which enables digital connection. In this way, you can use LCD screens both as a TV and as a monitor, apart from these there are many technological advantages such as the input of a memory card and internal satellite.
No scan lines: CRT TVs scan the tube from top to bottom with an electron beam to create the image, so lines appear on the screen. Since pixels are used instead of these lines in the LCD, these scan lines are not included. The image is evenly distributed across the entire screen.
Disadvantages of LCD TV: High energy consumption: Since the lighting in these TVs is made with fluorescent lamps that are constantly on, their energy consumption is twice or even slightly more than LED TVs. If a 42-inch LED TV consumes 80 watts, it will be about 200 watts for an LCD TV.
Image distortion when viewing at different angles: In LCD TVs, a clear image can only be obtained if the TV is viewed from the opposite side (at a right angle). This problem, which exists in laptop computers today, causes the image to become distorted and dark when viewed from another angle.
Black Color Problem: One of the negative aspects of continuous-on fluorescent lamp technology for backlighting in these TVs is the black color problem. Even if no light information is sent to the system for black, perfect black is not available because this fluorescent lamp stays on all the time. This makes the contrast difference between the black and white areas not exceed a certain limit.
Unreal colors (lifeless) compared to LED TV and plasma TV: technology is getting better and better. LED TV is actually an advanced version of LCD TVs. Display technology and color vibrancy are gradually improving in these widescreen and thin-screen TVs. In this respect, LCDs lag behind LED TVs.
Burn effect: It can be said that the problem is the burn effect or damage to the screen. Today, this problem is over. Thickness: It is thicker and heavier than LED TV.

Best ways of getting electricity savings in home appliances
Best ways of getting electricity savings in home appliances Want to know how to reduce electricity bills in the home? This article provides general and helpful tips/ habits which save electricity (reduce energy) when using electrical/electronic appliances like TV, refrigerator, air conditioner, dishwasher, computer, oven, hairdryer, etc. Service Center in Hyderabad,Repair Centre,TV,LED TV,LCD TV,Washing Machine,Refrigerator,Geyser,AC,Micro Oven,Samsung,LG,Sony,Whirlpool,IFB,Panasonic You have to be very careful to save electricity by proper care and handling while using electronic/electrical appliances. Nowadays electric/electronic appliances are so common that it is not possible to imagine living without them. Everyone has to use them but these appliances increase your monthly household bill also. So, if proper care is not taken in terms of use, the electricity bill may increase. You can follow these power-saving tips/handling tips to reduce electricity bills and eventually you are contributing to saving the environment. Electricity savings in Electric Stove Use flat bottom and tightly closed vessel to use in the electric stove. Use vessel with the material having higher heat transfer capacity (i.e. thermal conductivity). This will require lower heat and cooking will be easy with lower power. A vessel having a smaller bottom than the size of the coil (of an electric stove) will eventually waste the heat and this will increase power requirement. Electricity savings in Air Conditioner (A.C.) Set the temperature of A.C. according to use and according to season. Keep in mind, A.C. is an accessory, not the necessity, you can even turn off when it is not required. Generally, A/C is required in summer conditions. Service Center in Hyderabad,Repair Centre,TV,LED TV,LCD TV,Washing Machine,Refrigerator,Geyser,AC,Micro Oven,Samsung,LG,Sony,Whirlpool,IFB,Panasonic You can alternatively use AC means when comfort atmosphere is set by A.C., you can turn it off. Hence you will reduce energy Change or clean the filter of your A.C. because inefficient filter may use higher power than required. Follow maintenance schedule and do as per instructions are given in the appliance manual. Electricity savings in Refrigerator Almost every house is occupied with a refrigerator. So, proper care must be taken to save power. Clean the backside (condenser) of refrigerator properly at some regular time interval to keep heat release efficient otherwise, this will increase the load on your refrigerator and eventually higher power will be required. Do cleaning by vacuum cleaner once a year. Always close the door of the refrigerator properly. Open or partially opened door will increase the load on the evaporator of the refrigerator. If the door does not close automatically, put some inserts on the front base of a refrigerator to tilt the refrigerator somewhat to the wall side to have gravity effect on a door. Change the rubber gasket/seal of a door if it found loose. Occasionally defrost the freezer section of the refrigerator to avoid layers of ice inside the freezer. These ice layers will cause the refrigerator to take a longer time to cool the fruits/vegetables/things kept in the refrigerator. Do not put anything warm in a refrigerator. This will increase the load on the evaporator. Do not put the refrigerator too close to the wall. This will give less space for heat release from the condenser. Always load the refrigerator 75%. Do not overload the refrigerator. Have some space between each thing for easy circulation of cool air. Electricity savings in Dish Washer Do not open the door of the dishwasher too often. This will save power. Have use of the full capacity of a dishwasher. Use a dishwasher when required, you can wash the dishes when you want the change. This will save electricity too. Electricity savings in Clothes Drier Have a proper filling of clothes in the cloth drier. Too few or more than the specified clothes will use more power than required. Too tight filling of clothes will put the load on a machine to move. Have separate placing of soft and hard clothes. Clean the filter of cloth drier before filling clothes to it. Use cloth drier in monsoon or when you have less time to dry. Always have a habit of drying clothes in the open area by sunlight and wind. Electricity savings in Television (TV) Use the television when required. Set the volume of a TV to the audible range. A higher sound will require more power. Do not keep the DVD player in ON condition when not in use. This will increase the load on the system. Use energy-efficient TV like LCD and LED. The initial cost will be higher for LCD and LED but eventually, it will save enough power. Electricity savings in Computers Keep the monitor in standby mode when not using the computer for some time. Turn off the monitor or screen of the laptop. This will save enough energy. Use LED, LCD monitors for PC. Usually, CRT monitor requires more power and nowadays they are outdated. General Electricity savings tips Replace old ceiling fans, this will run efficiently compared to old ones. Replace conventional old fan regulators with electronic regulators, which will use the power according to the speed of the fan. Have a proper sealing of the home when using A.C. and room heaters. Use an automatic door closer like hydraulic door closer. Use solar equipment whenever it is possible. Cultivate the habit of switching off the appliances when not required Use sunlight in the home during day time. Have a colour in the room light so it will reflect more light and room looks brighter. Always use an electric iron with automatic temperature cut-off facility and do not iron wet clothes. Dust the light appliances to have proper illumination Replace conventional lightning with CFL tubes or if possible use LED only.

Tips and Tricks on Microwave Oven
If you've purchased or going to purchase a microwave oven for your home; but you don't know how to use it and what're its side effect, pros and cons etc. then read this article completely. You'll get information on how to handle, use, and maintain a microwave oven and what're its safety parts etc. from this article. What is unsafe and when things go wrong? Even though microwave ovens save space, time and energy, still people fear to purchase this thinking that it can make some dangerous issues like, bursting, flaming, electric shocking, killing nutritious values, etc. which actually never happen if followed the instruction and guidelines given in the product catalogue. The first and foremost thing you must know about the types of container to be used for liquid and solid items. Wrong container, with or without cover, wrong timing may cause something wrong while making items in a microwave oven. Here I've given some safety tips for microwave oven users: Children love popcorn and in most of the microwave oven there is a special option / button to prepare popcorn. Read the complete instruction given in the product manual how to prepare popcorn, how to pack and what kind of container requires for making. While making popcorn, don't open the container immediately after completion of the process. Wait until the steam gets release from the container. Otherwise, steam blast may occur and create serious injure to you. Better to bring the container just after 2-3 min of preparation and don't bring it towards yourself to get safe from heat steams. Some microwaves heat quickly the liquids without appearing the steam and any sense of heating. Hence, follow the timings mentioned in the manual for liquids and prepare accordingly. Don't allow for excess heating / reheating that may spill on you when you open the cover. Don't tight the cover completely; leave a small gap to release the steam. It also helps to remove the cover easily after cooking. Removing tight lids may cause steam burn to your hands and face directly. Stuffed poultry and boiled eggs. If you're preparing stuffed poultry in a microwave oven, at first check its temperature with a thermometer and set appropriate temperature in the oven. Stuffed poultries cook immediately in ovens. Similarly, don't cook or reheat boiled eggs in oven, as it may burst and perform as a small bomb. Remove the yolk of egg and then cook it. Don't run the empty oven. Check the doors of oven, whether it is safely covered or not. If found bent or unsealed door don't use the oven; repair immediately for safety reason. Don't allow your children to come near the oven when it is working. Additionally, teach them about its safety issues and don't permit nearby while it runs. Testing a safe microwave container: To know whether the microwave container is safe or not, put a cup/mug with cold water in the container and high heat for a minute. If the water is hot and container is cold, then it is safe. If the water is hot and container is also hot, then it is unsafe. The specification of microwave oven is when we cook or prepare a food, only the items will heat, not the container. The complete process happens with the help of radioactive rays only. It is a complete blunder that people thinks the radioactive rays can cause cancer to the people eats microwave preparatory items. Tips to save more energy and time Microwave oven is a high electric saving device than that of other cooking or reheating products. It saves more than fifty times of energy than a normal induction cooker and stove. People used to purchase this only for time and energy saving. However, some additional electric saving tips are here, which can save extra energy while using the microwaves. While reheating any item, stir or defrost them to cook quickly. Otherwise, while heating excess amount of food the center contents may not heat, whereas the exterior gets heat extremely. If we stir or defrost the food that might have kept in fridge for a long time will heat immediately. If your items are similar, you can keep them in multiple tracks to save energy and time. For example, if you want to reheat two curries, you can keep in two leveled boxes and heat them. If some items are more time taking for frying and browning; you can first prepare on a normal oven and then keep in microwave to complete the preparation. You can use small toaster oven for preparing items for 1 or 2 persons; and big oven for big lunches. It will save time and energy, as well as ease for making. Turn off the switch instantly after the preparation and let the door closed for 2-3 minutes. Cooking tips While cooking or reheating doesn't pack your bowl; give a little gap so that the lid shouldn't touch the food. To remove bad smell or last cooked item's odor from the oven, heat a cup of lemon water for a minute and keep the door closed for a minute. Open the door and wipe after getting cold. Stir the item while cooking for better preparation. Check the reheated curry with thermometer injecting in several places to know whether the internal content got heated or not. Follow the stand timing notes mentioned in the manual. Don't heat baby bottle in a microwave oven.
