Scarabella shifted nervously on her feet. Marinette had told her tons about the cat hero, but outside of being Rena Rouge, a couple of interviews, and now this, she hadn't talked with him much. He'd normally been goofy, distracted, or highly emotional.

Now he just seemed.

Sad.

It wasn't some loud thing, it wasn't obvious, it was just the way his shoulders slumped and the way he wouldn't lift his gaze from the ground.

“Cause obviously that's what we'd hold most valuable, right?” She continued weakly, hoping for some sort of a reaction. Something other than this eerie stillness.

“My Miraculous isn't what I hold most valuable,” Chat Noir whispered, still looking at the ground, “Ladybug is.”
