Ông đã vượt qua thử thách và chẳng mấy chốc, dòng sản phẩm thời trang và quần áo may sẵn của Dior đã đủ mạnh để tự mình đạt được sự công nhận riêng biệt. Dòng ban đầu được đổi tên thành Christian Dior Couture. Ông vẫn ở vị trí này cho đến năm 1997.

Năm 1997, Arnault đã chỉ định nhà thiết kế người Anh John Galliano thay thế Gianfranco Ferré ở vị trí giám đốc sáng tạo.

“Galliano có một tài năng sáng tạo rất gần với Christian Dior. Anh ta có cùng một sự pha trộn phi thường của chủ nghĩa lãng mạn, nữ quyền và hiện đại tượng trưng cho quý bà Dior. Với một mô tip biểu tượng lặp lại hình dạng đặc biệt với một dây đeo vai nhỏ, túi đã được chọn bởi những biểu tượng phong cách như Sarah Jessica Parker, Sienna Miller và Mischa Barton.

Có một khía cạnh gây tranh cãi trong cách tiếp cận của ông. Bộ sưu tập của ông mang tính sân khấu và thường nghệ thuật hơn là mặc. Ông đã làm việc với nhiếp ảnh gia Nick Knight để tạo ra các chiến dịch táo bạo, đưa ra tuyên bố với khuynh hướng tình dục, đôi khi lấy cảm hứng từ nhạc punk. Galliano là giám đốc sáng tạo của Christian Dior cho đến tháng 3 năm 2011 khi ông bị sa thải sau những lời nhận xét chống Do Thái.

Giám đốc thiết kế cũ của Galliano, Bill Gayten đảm nhận cho đến ngày 9 tháng 4 năm 2012 khi công bố sau nhiều tin đồn và suy đoán rằng Raf Simons đảm nhận vị trí giám đốc nghệ thuật tại nhà mốt.

Có lẽ để đáp lại điều này, người kế nhiệm của ông, Raf Simons đã đưa ra quan điểm khác biệt với Galliano kể từ ngày được bổ nhiệm làm giám đốc nghệ thuật vào năm 2012. Không kém phần xuất sắc nhưng đáng chú ý hơn, các bộ sưu tập của Simons có thể mặc được trong khi các chương trình thời trang mang đến sự kịch tính. Các bộ sưu tập đầy tính nghệ thuật, thường là xúc giác của ông đã thu hút một hàng ghế tiêu biểu nổi tiếng bao gồm Jennifer Lawrence và Rihanna.

Khi Simons rời khỏi nhãn hiệu, có nhiều cuộc thảo luận xung quanh việc ai sẽ tiếp quản. Nhưng cuối cùng đó là Maria Grazia Chiuri, cựu giám đốc đồng sáng tạo Valentino, người đã trở thành người phụ nữ đầu tiên đứng đầu nhãn hiệu này vào năm 2016, và bà vẫn giữ vị trí này cho đến ngày hôm nay.

Rayne is the name synonymous with the best in British 20th-century shoe design. Re-launched as a British-owned company in 2013, the remarkable design achievements of the company in the 20th-century are illustrated in this sumptuous book.    The business began in the late 19th-century as a theatrical costumier and soon added shoes to its products, with a factory in Bermondsey near the current Fashion & Textile Museum. Early clients included the Ballet Russes and Nijinsky. By the 1920s, members of the British Royal family and aristocracy were clients and a shop was opened on Bond Street with a new factory based at King's Cross. By 1950, the company had three royal warrants, had suppiled shoes for the wedding of Princess Elizabeth (now Queen Elizabeth II) in 1947, and had a strong American presence with Delman Shoes at Bergdorf Goodman, NYC, amongst other locations.     Sir Edward Rayne became a celebrity in his own right and collaborated with many famous designers such as Roger Vivier, Bruce Oldfield, Jean Muir, and the "Fashion Knight" Sir Norman Harnell, and Hardy Amies. In the 1970s, Bill Gibb designed collections for Rayne, and Rayne supplied the shoes for several leading French couturiers houses such as Lanvin and Nina Ricci. In the 1980s Bruce Oldfield designed collections for them. Oliver Messel re-designed the famous Bond Street Store, which attracted stars of stage and screen, such as Elizabeth Taylor, as well as society ladies.
