azul who is utterly obsessed with getting Jamil jewelry. Pearls sea glass diamonds aquamarine rubies- if it’s blue, ocean related, pretty, expensive, gold, red, and/or compliments Jamil’s complexion, he’s getting it for him. Azul knows how to budget but he is RECKLESS with spending for his boyfriend bc like, what do you mean that his BOYFRIEND. His darling. Angelfish. He gets whatever he wants

this leads people to believe that Azul has Jamil wrapped around his finger, bc “well he dresses up Jamil however he likes” but they are dead wrong. Azul is willinginhly completely under Jamil’s control and he loves it. He wants to help Jamil and is completely willing to be his little service boy if it means he gets to see Jamil’s greatness.

I also managed to track down some of her initial concept sketches from 2018 - why 2018 considering I called her one of my oldest OCs?

Well, her design has always been rather elusive, even more so since she spent so much time in my head without being brought to paper - even these sketches make mention of it!

Pretty sure she got “Cure” in 2018 too - starting to take form!

Latest would be 2010 #Part of her having such a range of uncertainty is that it took me many many years to consider putting her to paper!#She might've existed in 2007 but there's no record! She might've existed in 2010 but no record! I don't think I even wrote about her #She was a completely mentally-extant OC for many many many years #Partially because at the time I had just started drawing and knew I wouldn't be able to put down what was in my head to physicality #And then the longer she stayed in my head the more she became that kind of mental kaleidoscope ever-shifting impossible-to-draw design #But screw that! I have a few years of doodling under my belt now! Even if I can't get her quite right I can at least make an attempt!#It's especially funny because outwardly she is meant to be a pretty generic teddy bear lol - not Exactly but more like the vibe of one #Round and plush and innocent - innocuous #And really she's not like Nefarious or anything lol - she's not what she seems but she also is?? It's hard to explain lol #A lot of it does still come down to subtleties so it actually is still hard to capture but it'll only keep getting harder the longer I wait!#So at least pinning down Some things about her design that I'm happy with and can refer to helps the me down the line haha #The first one is actually pretty close! It's always a coin flip on whether the first one is a disaster or nails it haha #The heart ears and straight body are pretty good tho I gotta say #And honestly it was the little lace-ribbon bracelet that was the deciding factor for me to try drawing her again haha #I had an idea I thought was silly but to do it I needed a design to work with!#Getting there getting there - every little bit closer

"Kun3h0 Design Timeline"

I made this to look at how Kun3h0 has changed over time and to help figure out what I don't like about her latest version.

What I've come to notice us that she's really been stretched the f*ck out. She is supposed to be on the tall side, but this is just too much. Even though I think the latest version is the best artistically, I probably dislike her proportions the most.

Her features are too uniform, and her details are too busy. There's not a lot of contrast in her shape, so she's missing that "toon" quality that I'm really after. I think the second version is the closest I've gotten to the proportions I really want, but it's still not quite right. She needs to be pushed to further extremes: either make the limbs even thinner and/or the hands and feet even larger.

Those who’ve been here for a while (and have seen my art) have probably heard that I have weird moments of phantom limbs that I realistically wouldn’t ever have- wings, spikes, horns, animal ears, or a tail (which is the current bother)

Idk if it’s a furry thing or an alterhuman thing or a therian thing or whatever it counts as but it fuckin sucks

and the closest analogues I have- mechanical wings, a belt tail, barrette ears- don’t line up right and have no nerve-feelings so it just feels awkward on top of the phantom sensation

Idk, I feel weird talking abt this… like I’m a “freak” and a “furry (derogatory)”

but it genuinely gets in the way sometimes- like right now, when I can’t sleep bc I can “feel” my tail even though it isn’t there and it’s making my brain go nuts

Some of my one piece self insert ideas I'm still not satisfied with LOL hes a mythical zoan devil fruit user.. The most recent idea is a qiongqi based zoan.. the other 2 is tiangou, both are chinese mythological beings.. you can Google them, qiongqi is very cool it's a tiger-bull with spikes and wings..
