There’s so many different types of #sunflowers. Who would’ve thought there were so many types? My favorite are these #LemonQueens. Sunday, I wanted to beautify my space and bring some joy to my life. I bought these flowers. I’ve been feeling like their my substitute babies. I change their water everyday. I cut the stems this morning. The baby breath petals get so messy and fall everywhere lol. It’s funny 2-3 years ago I thought I would be married and have my own babies. The young woman I was 3 years ago probably would’ve been satisfied with that life. Or at least thought she was. I know I will probably feel confined within any monogamous relationship. And it’s not the monogamy that’s the issue. But the utter lack of reflection and appreciation that comes from being with one person for years on end. Being a woman inherently there is sooooo much responsibility I take on in a relationship and yes, men do tend to forget that as a woman your partner needs to be appreciated and shown you care as much as you did when you were courting her. I too have been guilty of forgetting. I spent this pandemic trying to get ahead in my education and career and guess my now ex felt forgotten about. Doesn’t excuse his actions and words but I def can see in hindsight that I tried to spend more time focused on me and less on him and it was def a reaction. I probably will continue finding activities like taking care of flowers to self care and substitute having a family because I don’t foresee my interest in a relationship ever coming back. It’s for the birds. I thought I had everything I wanted but looking back I gave up a lot of my freedom for a relationship. Now I gotta heal and go to therapy and build myself back up. This isn’t for me. Relationships take a level of patience and dedication... that after 3-4 years of this go round... Nah... not something I want again. Kool to have memories of what I thought I had but I really feel like wtf did so spend 3 yrs doing? Like wth was real? WTH lol 😂 At the end of it all ole dude doesn’t even want to go to counseling to get a chance to “win me back” as he claimed to want to do. to newcomers of the stealing my own art joke;

i had a blog named frisk-quartz-universe running alongside whimzy-the-bee at one point. i used two different aliases at the time, with lemonqueen being the one for fqu, and cucipi being the one for wtb. (i go by both alongside vee now.)

at one point, i got the most ridiculous ask on fqu, telling me that someone was stealing my art, and linking to wtb. 

my followers subsequently lost their shit in a fit of laughter and as a result, many memes were made. m a n y . so much so that i even made a fucking post mimicking the sans fight about it. ( pt 1 and pt 2 )

tl:dr; 

this is one of my many legacies. i hate it and love it.
