oh hey its a new au lol

this one is a little idea ive wanted to make for a while with the benchtrio and big q as kids, I've called it LimboMan AU

benchtrio go to the same middle school and quackity goes to the highschool down the street. T, T, & Q are friends through the supernatural club at the local library. Ranboo is a recent transfer student that gets roped into the trio's shenanigans and becomes friends. At first Quackity has some animosity towards him, but its purely just because he is mad that ranboo is three years younger and so much taller XD

Extra notes:

Tubbo transforms into a small icelandic sheepdog (pic below) during the night of the full moon. He really likes baking even though he's not the best at it. He always brings a baked treat to the library meetups.

Ranboo's true shapeshifter form is pure black with 6 arms and stands at 7 ft tall, the group have dubbed it the "Limbo Man". He is an artist and loves cosplay. He is wary of cameras, since they often show his eyes reflecting the light in weird ways that could reveal his abilities. He also has really sharp teeth, so he keeps a face mask on at all times.

Tommy's camera is full of selfies of him and his friends, as well as pictures of frogs. The desert rain frog is his favorite (pic below) and he tries to imitate its war cry daily, to the dismay of his friends and parents. He wants to be a photographer and vlogger.

Quackity has always been able to see and communicate with spirits, but was made fun of in elementary so he usually keeps quiet about his powers except for around friends and family, but he thinks about opening a small business in the library where he can offer his services to help people who have lost someone or with small hauntings.

in this au, Ranboo has a twin sister who is a changeling. Her name is Belle and she is trans!

Its a funny story actually, because when Ranboo was a baby, a fairy came to take him and replace him with a changeling. It was going smoothly until the motion sensing light went off as the fairy was leaving with Ranboo in their arms. His shapeshifter parents came out and scared the fairy so much that it just left Ranboo on the lawn. Ranboo's parents brought him back inside and when they saw the changeling where their kid was supposed to be, they went "welp now we have two kids I guess" and raised her as their own.

Belle is biologically the same as Ranboo, but since she is a changeling copying a shapeshifter, she can only do minor edits to herself and doesn't have a "true form" like Ranboo.

Belle's nickname is Miss Beloved.

Tommy and Turbo actually met when they were both in preschool, but not at school. Tommy was playing outside when he saw a puppy walking down the sidewalk and went to chase after it. Turns out that puppy was Tubbo in his werewolf form! Tubbo didn't reveal this info until the two of them got to know each other better in school, but Tommy was obsessed when he was told the puppy and his best friend were one in the same. Tubbo introduced Tommy to his parents, who then met up with Tommy's parents to discuss keeping their family's ability a secret but still allow Tommy and Tubbo to be friends. It ended up bringing the two families closer.

in your limboMan au- how are shapeshifters, satyrs and weredogs etc treated by the public? You mentioned that quackity was bullied for his medium-ness, so how about the others?

generally, non-humans are rare (probably like 0.01% of the population), pure bloods even rarer (closer to 0.002%)

they tend to stay away from big populations and prefer rural towns, so they tend to end up grouped together

the general public either doesn't believe in that non-humans exist, and those that do usually don't see them as a threat, often times because they know a mixed blood non-human

there are however certain groups, like would be expected, on both sides of the support scale. There are those who want the non-humans to be safe and welcome in society. There are others who want them to be experimented on or even killed.

Mediums are more common than non-humans, but the general public still sees them as occult obsessed individuals. They do find friends in Pegan and witch covens however, it's just that Quackity wasn't allowed to join any because of his parent's skepticism.

LimboMan update!

I wasnt quite sure what I wanted to do with this au, since the plot I did have wasn't really enough to make anything substantial with

so I'm turning the LimboMan AU into my own story with my own ocs!
