After taking a considerable break from Tumblr due to personal reasons, I do believe after I am back from Fanfest next week, I will be returning to post more here (considering Twitter is not looking too well as of late). I will also be changing a few things around here like how my blog looks, though I do intend to keep the Caleb W. aesthetic because he means a lot to me.

It is a combination of Basil, Strawberries, Raspberry liqueur, cranberry juice, pepper and Sagitiba Pura Cachaca.

I haven't updated this tag in a long time, it only felt right to do so. The Lyra of last year and years before deserves to see how much progress they've made and live with the fact that more progress is to be made, even if the fire is agonizingly too hot to bare. I think today brought a good lesson, a realization that I have some habits and mentalities that I am still unlearning, and that's okay. I've come so far, very far, even when I didn't wish to keep walking because the pain was unbearable. I wish I have the power to know how the summer will be, but I do not possess that power, as much as I wish I did. Maybe being with friends will help ease the pain of years of trauma, I am not sure, but I will keep walking; I have the strength to crawl if I must. To the Lyra of yesterday and to the thousands of her before yesterday, there are not enough stars in the sky or drops of water in the sea to express how sorry I am for the pain and suffering you've endured, but you're so brave and strong for still being here, even when you felt like giving up. Summer will come and it will hurt, it will hurt unbearably, but you are strong even if you don't feel that way. Summer will come and it will test your limits, but whatever happens, your friends love you, both old and new, they love you for you. Summer will come and no matter what happens, the world is as colorful as it once was all those years ago. You'll be okay, I make no promise, but you will survive, though not the same way you've had to for years.

Hearing of KT’s passing is saddening. YGO was a small part of my childhood and was a big part of my adulthood. I met amazing people and though many came and went, I still hold fond memories of my time in the YGO Tumblr space and I face the bad memories for the rest of my life. I owe YGO a lot of gratitude and thanks as well as anger and woe, but at the end of the day, I owe KT so much for creating something that meant something to me then and that means something to me now despite the fluctuating emotions. Thank you KT, I hope the legacy of YGO lives on, even when you’re not here to see it.

Long time no post/reblog on here but, Upon seeing ex-friends/abusers congregate yesterday, I am going to start being cutthroat with the people I follow. I stopped using this site so much because I knew they were still kicking around, and it didn’t help my paranoia or stockholm syndrome. If I do unfollow you, I’m sorry, you’re just too close to people who I don’t want haunting me anymore.  I will start posting/reblogging more after I’ve done some spring cleaning.

Tonight’s episode starts in a couple of minutes and while I usually don’t post my twitter liveblog memes, I thought this one was really good to not share on Tumblr so here y’all go; a treat before tonight’s episode about tonight’s episode.

I watch Aikatsu! Planet on Wednesday’s because that is the day when English subs are released and I did watch episode 2 and this made me incredibly happy, so much to the point that I teared up. Aikatsu has Idols who do dance ballet but there have been none to be so bold and to have stated openly that they know how to dance ballet and love it like Mao and as someone who danced ballet for 15-16 years of my youth, this made me extremely happy.  Her Aurora Pegasus dress is absolutely perfect for her because it’s somewhat similar to Akari’s Odette Swan coord with the intentional ballet aesthetic and theme. This Hana being a Fairy type user is perfect because she is the Sugar plum FAIRY. I do hope that in the future they do give Hana a solo where she dances ballet or a fusion of it sprinkled in there because it would be so fitting and mean so much to me. I want a Du-Du-Wa-DO IT!!! and a Piroquette of the Forest Light 2.0 but for Hana.

I am a bit behind on Healin’ Good Precure at the moment because of senior year courses but I am up to date on the general plot of the story and I now realize why a lot of people don’t enjoy Healin’ Good. Not only is it easy to fall out of it but the new plot element of Daruizen being the sole reason for Nodoka’s illness is absolutely the worst thing the show has pulled off. To set up a character with a dire health issue as if she was going to lose her life and then whip out the plot device of the bad guy who keeps physically and emotionally hurting her at any given opportunity he has being the main reason to that health issue is pretty fucked up. Especially to those who watched the show for a chance at representation of those with health issues and concerns and wanted to feel seen, heard, and validated. It’s so disappointing and quite frankly foul. It’s a kid show you would say. True but the fact that they’re going for such a mature plot with Nodoka’s illness in the first place makes it above the PG rating. This show might as well be in the middle of PG+13 to mature at the moment. I don’t know, if they didn’t introduce that and kept her illness an actual illness then the show would have been a bit better and more cohesive but that no longer is the case and that makes me sad and I truly am sorry for those who watched the show for representation and were stripped of that.

So it recently (like a week ago, I just watch Aikatsu planet late) occurred to me that Meisa returns to Aikatsu Planet as Rose and that is very interesting considering that she left Aikatsu Planet without much of a warning and left Mao to pick up Hana and basically commit identity fraud while most of the world has no idea what’s going on.

Also interesting because Rose is a flower type user and Meisa’s Hana used flower types as well and Meisa still has the Luxe Sunflower coord so I suspect that when Rose battles Hana she will be using her Luxe Sunflower coord or not considering I don’t think you can level up a final level (level 8) swing coord to another level 8 swing coord but I mean Rose does seem very endgame so the battle could be a restricted battle, it is all very interesting.

Episode 4s “You are you. Be yourself, don’t fit into someone else’s image of you because you are you and that’s already so lovely.” message can apply to Meisa being Rose because if Meisa left Aikatsu Planet so suddenly then perhaps Meisa was sick of being Hana, she didn’t want to be at the top like that, not when Hana aesthetically did not fit the flower type theme anymore and she just left. Rose fits the flower type and that is already enough for Meisa. She just wants to start anew perhaps but she will be talking to and battling against Mao/Hana because why wouldn’t she?

~ ✨ Now not to over analyze but do you ever just think back to Caleb’s “I don’t want you suffering in a little ruby prison.” line to Jester and then think back to how Marion’s work name is The Ruby of the Sea and how Marion kept Jester in her room for most of her life so she already was essentially trapped in a little ruby prison before? YEAH MAN. ✨ ~

Aikatsu Planet episode 1 English subs are out and I sat down to watch it and I gotta say, I really do enjoy the live action segments of the show way more than I thought I would and that’s rather nice to think about because I know it’s a new step for Aikatsu. So far, I’m impressed. However, I am a bit concerned because Aikatsu likes to sprinkle in some love plot whenever it can to spice things up because obviously this anime is for young girls and romance is a big and important thing. I know they will still apply the “An Idol cannot date.” rule just as they did with the predecessor series’ but seeing as boys do attend the school that Mao and Shiori and the other three important girls go to, I am a bit concerned over how that is going to play out IF there will be a romantic subplot. IDK, maybe I am just raising my eyebrow in concern considering how Aikatsu! Stars handled it’s romance here.

Back from Twitter ranting about Shiny Day, the newest Aikatsu 8 song for the winners of this years Aikatsu 8 and let me tell you, it ain’t looking to pretty on Twitter but in any case, the song is decent. Yurika, Ako, and Hana’s voices save the song here which is eye opening considering Ruka is there but she did great too. The art direction for this though... oh boy what a recycled ‘lyric video’ flop.
