Clothing representing the 11,500 Palestinian and 36 Israeli children who have been killed in Gaza were laid out on Bournemouth beach this week.

The 5km line of second-hand clothes was created by activists were laid out to illustrate the scale of child deaths in Gaza.

Each set of clothing represents a child who had been killed.

Reminder for everyone attending ANY protest!

Wear masks or bandanas. Cover up your tattoos. Do not bring any unique or easily distinguishable clothes. Just wear The Normal PersonTM skin for the event.

Do NOT bring your cellphone. Or buy a Faradei bag. They will at least try to track your devices. Do not make it easy.

And obviously, do not share your name or anything remotely identifiable with ANYONE who you don't know already.

Be loud, but don't be stupid. If you leave crumbs of donuts to your fucking door, they will absolutely find you, even if you didn't do anything "bad".

I'm sorry but it's way too sketchy to have to "sign up" for a protest. There's no reason you should have to give anyone your full name, email, phone number, and/or address in order to march in the streets. People are getting arrested left and right because cops have access to information that connects people to the protests they were at. If an organization is having people "sign up to join the fight," all the cops need to do is access that list.

Just go. Don't leave a fucking paper trail.

Vastly different than my normal content, but I really need some help. I'll be running medical in D.C. for a week in order to assist during the 24/7 sit in. An even that is scheduled to continue until 47 gets his grubby ass hands out of office.

Medical supplies are far from cheap, so I made this flier, as well as a linktree and the event poster for what I will be attending.

Under apartheid, publishing radical books was an act of resistance. Ravan Press, (founded in 1972 by Peter Randall and others) amplified banned voices, Black Consciousness writers, and critical texts that commercial publishers wouldn’t touch.

Ravan published the first novels by authors like J.M. Coetzee and Miriam Tlali, often risking raids and censorship to do so. Its work was one part of a broader liberation struggle across Southern Africa, building political awareness from the grassroots up.
