Good morning my beloved ✨🤍 I wonder how is the creative process for your kinktober fics? Is there a movie or song that inspired you to create them or where did you get the idea? How are you working on it? Is there any fic you're more excited to finish than any other?
Take all the time you need and I just want to remind you that this is your hobby and these fics will be ready when they are ready. Don't pressure yourself with a deadline because you're already doing a great job, ok? I love you and I'm hugging you (plz don't forget to drink some water)
Aww hey hey hey babe 💗💗
This is such a sweet ask!! I love talking about my stories and the process of writing them!! Thank you so much!!
"Brother" (Yuuji x Reader + Sukuna x Reader) was a spontaneous idea. Usually, I love to write a softer version of Sukuna, but I thought that Halloween would be the perfect opportunity to finally write a truly evil version of him. I can't say too much about the story, though, because I don't want to spoil it. I am excited to see what people will think at the end. There are several ways to interpret it.
The song that I picked for this fic is "Pink Party" by Isaac Dunbar. I have it on my Itadori Twins playlist for another AU, and I love the vibe of it. This story starts at a party, and in my mind, this is the song that is playing in the background while Reader is trapped in the bathroom with Sukuna. The evil twin gets explicitly mentioned in this song, so it is really perfect ;)
"Mine" (Megumi x Reader) has been in my drafts for a long time. It was originally planned for a You collab (the tv show). But I never finished it. So when I saw my friend Loni make a Halloween collab, I remembered this story, and I thought it would fit very well. And it's a good motivation for me to actually finish this story finally.
I love taking a character like Megumi, who I think is a pretty good person in canon, and then taking one of their character traits or one of their super relatable insecurities and twisting them into something dark. With Megumi, those are his abandonment issues after his dad left him as a little child and after suffering the loss of several people he loved. I love the horror of seeing someone who started with good intentions lose control and become the villain.
I picked the song "King of Shadow" by Kat Cunning for this story. It is one of my Megumi songs anyway, and I think it fits this story very well. To me, it is a song about becoming obsessed with the person you love and refusing to let them go again, wanting to be as close to them as possible, wanting to know them better than anyone else could, wanting to be the only person who can give them a good life. Megumi sees Reader as his light while he is in the dark. She is like a goddess to him, like his perfect person, and he CANNOT lose her.
"Death's Bride" (Sukuna x Reader) was an idea I had when someone close to me was very sick, and I kind of needed a story about Death that was comforting to me. I once read an explanation about Sukuna's hand signs and that they are associated with the tale about the King of Hell, who judges the dead souls and decides which part of the afterworld they have to go to. I really love this idea and so I decided to write Sukuna as the personification of Death.
The song I picked for this story is "Don't Fear the Reaper" by HIM. I love their songs and the ongoing theme of death + romance in them, so this fits super well for falling in love with Sukuna as Death ;)
I can't really pick a fave because all three stories are very different, and I enjoy writing each one of them a lot. The Itadori Twins story is the darkest, in my opinion. The Megumi story is dark too, but in a different way. And the Sukuna story is actually pretty sweet, in my opinion.
I am super excited to share these stories with y'all!! And this ask was so sweet!! Thank you so much for your interest and for giving me an excuse to talk about my fics!! I am hugging you!! I love youuu 💗💗

Day 03- A picture of you and your friends
Tumblr media
This photo was taken at the La Jolla Cave Shop for my friend Arnou's birthday on May 18, 2022. From left to right—Loni Blair, Arnou Zanti, me, Ryan Vergeldedios, and Matt Vergeldedios. While this was actually only my third time hanging out with Loni and Matt in person, Arnou and Ryan have both become dear brothers to me since I met them four years ago.
I had just graduated from university the Spring of 2017 and had begun exploring music more seriously as a creative artist when I first encountered Arnou at the Encinitas Farmers Market. Wandering around with my banjo looking for a place to go busking that day, I instinctively knew a Farmers Market could provide a receptive audience for my music. When I arrived, Arnou was already posted up with one of his friends Tony and they were both playing acoustic guitars. I stopped to listen and judge their peculiar style of indie folk music. What captured my attention after a few minutes were some of Arnou's lyrics speaking truth about chemtrails, esoteric knowledge, and the resilience and power of the human spirit; I could tell right away that they were playing original songs, since no other artist I knew of at the time came close to addressing those types of lyrical themes so directly while allowing them to cryptically remain open to interpretation. I went up and gave them a dollar in their instrument case, complimenting their songwriting and encouraging them to keep it up.
I was about to continue on own my way and look for another place to busk when Arnou noticed my instrument case. "Hey man, is that a banjo?" I told that it was, and he invited me to come jam with them. I excitedly accepted his offer and we were soon interweaving our musical melodies like spiderwebs with each other much to the delight of the Farmers Market crowd. Once the vendors started to pack up, one of the farmers selling goat cheese told us that although we were both good musicians on our own, the real magic started to happen when we began to play together. Little did I know that would be an omen of the remarkable adventures to come.
Arnou and I kept in touch after that day. With my college career finished, I had plenty of time that season to explore the creative realms together with Arnou. He introduced me to Ryan, a percussionist he had met outside his credit union one day upon the observation of a friend who happened to notice a random guy sitting on the sidewalk playing his cajon and suggested to Arnou that he should go up and talk to him. Arnou approached the cajon player and in a similarly spontaneous matter that our own paths converged, they began jamming and sharing creative energies with each other. The three of us eventually joined forces one night over a meal of vegan Indian curries and played some music in a parking lot till the late hours of the night. We eventually began practicing together as a group, establishing a repertoire that combined my boisterous old time folk songs and Arnou's meditative acoustic melodies. We coined our new group Fossils & Flowers, emblematic of Arnou's and my style of music working together in synergy, fused together with the beat of Ryan's world percussion instruments.
Our band debuted at a local coffee shop called The Kettle in Escondido, and after that show we eventually linked up a local musician to play stand up bass with us, befriended a singer songwriter who expressed interest in playing mandolin with us, and recruited a rapper and auxiliary percussionist to diversify our ensemble. Performing alongside various permutations of this lineup, I played shows with Fossils & Flowers all over California, mostly throughout San Diego but also embarked on road trips to Lake Tahoe, Nevada City, and Humboldt County. We were an unfunded, scrappy DIY project that barely had professional equipment and sometimes played unpaid shows for drink tickets and free food, but regardless, we manifested magical opportunities wherever we went and formed unique and lasting connections with people near and far.
While I cherish the musical memories I made with my brothers in those two years being in a band together, the most rewarding experience I shared with Arnou and Ryan was our backpacking adventures throughout Japan. As an enthusiast of anime and Japanese popular culture, Ryan had always dreamed of traveling to Japan, so in the Spring of 2019 he began planning an epic three week backpacking journey that he invited Arnou and me to go along with for the ride. Once we secured our traveling supplies, trekking gear, and other survival essentials we would need while sojourning in a foreign country, we embarked on a once in a lifetime journey, traveling by planes, trains, and country lanes throughout Japan. We completed two full length treks through Yakushima Island—where we traversed the real life Princess Mononoke Forest to see the largest and most ancient cedar tree in Japan—the Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage Trail—where we camped for two nights throughout alpine forests and rural mountain rice paddy villages—and a day trip to the Hakuba Alps. In between our wilderness treks, we spent some much needed down time in the major cities—Kyoto, Osaka, and Tokyo—to enjoy the luxuries of civilization and gourmet cuisine in hyper futuristic Japanese society.
Following this trip, I parted ways with Arnou and Ryan, leaving San Diego to return home to Hawaii, live with my parents while I studied for the GRE, and apply to graduate programs. Although we still kept in touch while I was away, I maintained a strong conviction that I was called to do more with my life than just play banjo in my friend's band. I did not wish to forsake my college education and professional aspirations to just be a bohemian, and a financially unstable one at that. I set my sights on graduate school and did not look back.
But as fate would have it, I ended up back in San Diego in November 2021 after three years away living in Hawaii and later New Orleans for my graduate Musicology program at Tulane. This time, though, I returned to San Diego on a medical airlift, strapped to a mobile hospital bed, hooked up to a transport ventilator and ECMO machine, fighting for my life and awaiting my double lung transplant surgery after 50 days of being hospitalized in Shreveport, Louisiana. While I was hospitalized in San Diego, Arnou and Ryan both individually came to visit me after my surgery, bringing me clothes, souvenirs, video games, hopped teas and refreshments, and a cornucopia of good memories we had shared with one another. Although at the time I could not yet talk because of the breathing tube that was still in my trachea, we each had full length dialogues with one another, with me barely whispering or mouthing out most of my statements, and—as a testament to how well they each knew me—them fully being able to comprehend everything I was telling them.
This photo above is the first time that I had seen them once I had been discharged from the hospital. That day, we all celebrated Arnou's 28th birthday with an all-day San Diego adventure, starting off with tea and scones at a Turkish cafe in Del Mar, sightseeing at an underground sea cave in La Jolla, eating brunch at a vegan Jewish deli, reminiscing on our Japan Journey at the Japanese Friendship Garden in Balboa Park, getting lunch at the Mexican-Mediterranean fusion eatery Medina, going for a light hike at the San Dieguito River Park, waiting for the evening to unfold at Sunset Cliffs, grabbing a snack at Peace Pies, and ending the night with dinner at Cesarina. After months of hospitalization, it was a supreme treat to feast my way through San Diego with my brothers again, enjoying the day's festivities and celebrating Arnou's birthday. This photo commemorates our friendship and the precious life we've been privileged to share together.

Congrats once again on 1k!! I'm happy to see your blog grow so much, it's so well deserved! 💜💜
I'd love to join the match up event (last minute, phew!)!

Loni, she/they, 21
I'm an ENFJ, 2w3 and I'd describe myself as optimistic, entertaining, empathetic and creative!
I have a preference for men (although I don't care a lot about gender) and I like people who are quiet, calm and direct. The types that don't beat around the bush, yet they're sensible enough with their words. The type of person who can stay rational when I'm too emotional. On the other hand I also just love people who are cheeky and extroverted. Who can lift me up when I'm feeling low.
My favorite drinks are Bellinis and Peach Ice Tea!
As for kinks, I think my favorites are: Praise Kink, anything to do with hands, Bondage, Thigh riding, pet names and breeding!

"Today is going to be my day!" you say with a bright smile while standing up from the bench in the change room, "Cant keep up with you" a colleague says while trying to put her collants on, "I know a reason why should be happy though" another says while pointing outside the door. Perking your eyes you notice the young corvine man drinking with a friend in the bar, "If I had someone like him, I would be happy to work here!" she continues checking the handsome duo, "Wanna know the other one?" you say innocently, "He's hot! Of course I wanna know him!" she shouts jumping up and down excited.
"Oh hello sir" you say while caressing his shoulder, “Loni, finally I brought a friend hope you don’t mind” he says while kindly smiling at you, “Not at all!- actually this is Akari” you say while she pleads with fond eyes the white haired man, “Nice to me-” “Heyy Loni, it’s good to finally see you” the other man says while putting an arm on your back trying to adress your attention to him, “I’m sorry bu-” you stop when you see Suguru slapping his friend on the face, “Shut the fuck up idiot, she’s with me and you know it! Know your place if you don’t want a blue eye next time” he says with his cold smile making his friend hiss with a smirk, “Ok Ok, Satoru Gojo, we will see each other again!” he says taking Akari and guiding her to a table ordering tons of desserts.
“The usual?” Suguru says looking at you and you nodd, “I hope you may forgive silverass, he is kind of an attention whore, sugar addicted and a bit obnoxious” he adds chuckling, “Don’t worry I got it, I would have just ignored him, you came for me after all” you say with a smile caressing his thig, “Mh wanna go somewhere else?” he says with a smirk and he moves knowing this place just like the back of his hand, “Here pretty, drink” he says giving you your bellini and patting his lap you sit only to feel something pocking your clothed pussy, “Mmm Suguru” you say with a smirk looking fondly at his and feeling his hands caressing all over your body.
“Here!” you suddenly feel your hands trapped tightly, “Don’t worry pretty, you’re going to enjoy it” his hands caress your cheeks and you can’t help but blush feeling the warm feeling tracing wherever his fingerprints go to. The legs trying to move to give you a sense of relief but it’s difficult moving, “Straight back!” he orders and adjusting your position on your lap, if you grind this thig correctly I may reward you with the cock you really like” he whispers into your ear making you shiver and feel your liquids go down his pants, “Go on doll, I know you can do it” he encourages you starting to move your panties and helping you rubbing into his thig “Are you enjoying this?” he says while taking your boobs out of the bra, “So pretty” and pinch at your nipples making you hiss in pain but going faster, “Ah fuck sir, wanna cum!” you say and bit your lips trying to concentrate over the delicious friction his pants give you, “Go on doll, make a mess” he says while looking at your expression and taking your hips he helps you coming undone and pour out all your cum. “Mmm Suguru” you moan while smiling at him, “Wanna fuck me now?” he says and before you know it you’re bent over the mini couch.

I shall join this, so here - have a delicious strawberry! 💕:
🍓
a sweet delicious strawberry just like you?
my biggest compliment to you is definitely how you seem to have a good balance on many aspects of your life. I've seen you talk about school, cosplaying, going to the gym, playing music, and you put content out on here! pre-pandemic and when I was still in school, I could only manage school, work, and going out with friends. I put aside any creative stuff or only could do that on long breaks. it’s amazing that you can fit that in with a busy schedule that school brings. that was long omg I just find that so admirable and want you to know that you’re accomplishing something that isn’t easy.
also, you’re very nice and I like hearing you speak all the languages you know! you’re also an amazing writer and I love how versatile you are with several characters, you have many flavors <3 I think you’re a gem and I can tell that the people in your life cherish you Loni :)

Can we have a situation where one of tge brothers misunderstands a conversation shes having with claire on the phone about a group of 10 somethings like say plush toys or tv characters abd says “out of all 10 of them i gotta day he’s my favorite” abd they think she has a favorite brither and theyre all determined to “subtly” find out who it is
I love this ask so much.
———-
~ It would start on a typical Saturday morning. The brothers are in the hallway, doing their normal things: causing chaos. Luke is rockin’, Lars is sitting on the stairs reading, Lane is telling his jokes with Mrs. Coconuts, Lexx and Lynn are racing, etc.
~ Meanwhile, Linka is in her room, avoiding all the chaos. She loves her brothers’ insanity, but she is deciding to take a break for one Saturday. She’s talking to Claudia on her phone about a new TV show they watched that has ten main characters.
~ After chasing his lizard Lizzy trying to protect her from Lexx’s car, Leif grabs her by Linka’s door. But he stops when he hears Linka’s voice.
~ “My favorite. Out of all ten of them?” Linka says through the door. Leif puts Lizzy in his pocket and puts his ear up to the closed door to hear better. “I mean, if I have to choose it’s gotta be him,” she continues.
~ Leif worries she’s talking about her brothers.
~ [pause for a couple seconds] “Yes! It has to be him. Thinking about it now, the choice is obvious.”
~ Leif, now freaking out, he runs through the hallway and calls an emergency brother meeting.
~ The boys meet in Loki and Loni’s room and Leif tells them what he overheard. The brothers are confused, and ask why she would have a favorite out of them.
~ However, immediately, Luke proudly claims her favorite brother to be him. He says it’s because Linka loves his music and hangs out with him more than any of the other idiots. But Levi rebuttals, saying she likes hanging out with all of them, no matter the length she does so. And that just because she loves his music, doesn’t mean he’s the favorite. Which earns him a scowl from Luke.
~ Loni says he could be the favorite because he’s the only one who willingly does girly things with her. Lexx claims the title because their royal fashion shows are actually her favorite thing. Lane believes it’s him because he knows how to make her laugh. But Lars thinks it’s him because he’s the only one she can go to for deserved peace and quiet and she likes his poems and drawings. Levi states it’s him because he allows her to play with his machines… sometimes. Then Lynn claims to be the favorite, making the other boys laugh because he makes her more angry than any of them, which Lynn retaliates. Leon says “fav Yinka!”
~ The boys start arguing over each other. Loki bangs his show on the table to stop them and get their attention. He asks why they should care because she doesn’t have a favorite, she loves all of them.
~ Leif suggests that they should figure out who the favorite brother is. And states that if she does have a favorite, it will be a younger brother, i.e. him.
~ Loki repeats that they don’t have to, she doesn’t have a favorite. [pause] And adds that even if she did, it’d be him because she goes to him for advice before any of the other idiots and that he helps her instead of bothers her.
~ The idiots continue to argue about the reasons. Loki bangs his shoe again and asks them if they really care about figuring out who Linka loves more than the rest of them.
~ The boys say they should. And Leif tells Loki to admit he cares as well.
~ …Loki then asks them what they should do to “subtly” figure out who the favorite brother is.
~ “Subtly” in quotes.
~ Their first plan: the boys ask their sister subtle questions, definitely not having to do with the favorite brother topic.
~ Linka walks around the house talking with Claudia. And she gets pestered by her brothers.
~ “Hey, little sis! I got a question. Take yer pick: would you rather spend yer whole day jamming’ to music or-”   “On the phone, Luke.” [Luke sadly looks down as she leaves]   “Hey, Linky! Wanna help me with a debate about-”   “Lexx. I’m talking to someone.” [Lexx looks down frowning]   “Hey, Link! About our playing sports together-”   “Lynn! On the phone!” [Lynn looks after her worried]   “Hey, Linka! Out of all of our brothers, who do you-”   “Oh my Gosh, Loni, I’m on the phone! Tell the others that, too, stop interrupting me!”
~ Plan A doesn’t work. The boys are in Loki and Loni’s room again. As they talk about their next plan, Levi suggests he could build something to get the truth out. Loki is hesitant, thinking Levi will electrocute her or something. But Levi assures them she’ll be alright.
~ Loki still doesn’t trust him, but whatever.
~ Levi spends a few minutes building and comes out with a satellite-like gadget. He explains if it corresponds with her phone signals, they’ll be able to hear what’s happening on the phone.
~ Loni is against this, saying it’s bad to spy on her phone call, even for a very important answer. But Levi ignores him and prepares to set it up in the living room.
~ Linka walks into the living room from the kitchen, still on her call. When Levi sees her, he starts using a controller to the satellite to turn it on and point it towards her cell.
~ It immediately gets a good signal, and Levi’s smile grows a bit sinister.
~ However, the curious sister spots the machine and delves in for a closer look. She touches the antenna and her phone starts getting staticy. The squealing of the phone rings in her eardrum, causing a stinging in her ear. Holding her ear with her left wrist, she spots a button. Out of curiosity and thinking the satellite is responsible for the static, she presses the button. Before walking into the kitchen.
~ Panicked, Levi runs down to the machine and right after he arrives, it explodes, leaving him hurt and dirty.
~ The boys run down and see Levi all messed up. Leif adds injury by punching him for installing a dang self-destruct button.
~ They grovel over how their stupid plan B didn’t work. Suddenly, Luke’s ear twitches and pokes his head in the kitchen doorway.
~ “I don’t know, Claudi, it’s hard to choose a favorite.”
~ Luke pops back in the living room, telling the boys he’s heard Linka talking to Claudia about her favorite. They all gather round to listen to her.
~ Linka mentions the musician, making Luke smile and pose in triumph… before she says he’s cool, but he is super loud and obnoxious. Luke looks down heartbroken. The other bros secretly smile at each other.
~ She states the goth should stop being dreary once in a while and smile for once, making Lars gasp, thinking she doesn’t like him more.
~ She says she ain’t a fan of the sporty one, thinking he’s a jerk and dumb, making Lynn gasp in anger.
~ She complains that the dirty one is way too disgusting for her, making Leif scoff.
~ She says the funny one needs to work on his comedy cause he barely makes her laugh, replacing Lane’s smile with a frown.
~ She thinks the prince is a selfish brat, infuriating Lexx.
~ She says the small one does nothing but cry and whine, which makes Leon put his pacifier in his mouth to keep him from crying.
~ She mocks the “dumbest of them all,” making the boys look at the oblivious Loni.
~ She’s annoyed that the smart and gifted one should shut up about his intelligence, everyone knows already. Levi furrow his brows.
~ That leaves Loki. The oldest brother stands and smiles smugly, believing his prediction as the favorite brother to be true, while the other boys are left shocked and hurt.
~ However, Linka suddenly says the phone talker could put down his phone and actually act like being with his loved ones. This angers Loki, knowing it to not be true, but still hurts him. The boys look at each other disappointed and sad.
~ But then, she starts another odd chain. She says while the musician can be obnoxious, he’s still cool and fun; the dark one deep and creative; the sporty one tough and strong; the dirty one knowledgeable and cute; the comedy one clever and potentially very funny; the prince fierce; the small one adorable and huggable; the dumbest one open and honest; the smart one inventive and intelligent in a good way; and the phone talker does care about his loved ones and looks after them well. The boys are cheered up, but they’re back to square one.
~ They meet back up in Loki and Loni’s room and sit in silence for a few minutes with disappointed smiles. In the middle of their silence, they hear Linka’s footsteps on the stairs and down the hallway to her room. They’re salty and upset they weren’t able to figure out which one of them Linka favors. She said both negative and positive things about them. So they have no idea what to do.
~ Which one of them could their sister love more than the others?
~ One of the boys breaks the silence saying how much time they wasted to come up with nothing. Soon enough, all of them start to argue why they would and wouldn’t be the favorite. Though, they don’t notice they also argue about why she would have one in the first place.
~ The brothers then all get into a fight cloud that leads out into the hallway by the stairs.
~ After that, Linka leaves her room, hears her brothers and greets them, but notices their fighting. She gets annoyed and asks what they’re fighting about this time. The brothers stop fighting and look up at her. They then confront her and ask her who her favorite brother is.
~ Linka asks them what in the heck they’re talking about. Leif tells her he overheard her telling Claudia who her favorite brother is, angering Linka for eavesdropping on her call, and they all argued today about who it could be. And they want to know who it is.
~ Linka laughs and tells them she wasn’t talking about them. She was talking about a new show she and Claudia discovered that has ten main characters and she was trying to choose a favorite out of them.
~ Standing dumbfounded for a couple seconds. Lexx punches Leif and Luke berates him for misunderstanding her.
~ Linka teases them, thinking it’s sweet they felt insulted that they thought she had a favorite out of them. The boys stand awkward and embarrassed by their fatal mistake.
~ Linka looks at them with a sad smile, and she tells them she could or would never pick a favorite out of them. She thinks they’re all awesome idiots in their own ways and she loves them all equally. Leif hugs her and the boys have small smiles, all secretly satisfied their sister loves them so much.
~ They settle that and Linka threatens them to never eavesdrop on her calls again, and heads downstairs.
~ The next morning, the brothers are causing chaos in the hallway again. Linka is in her room talking to Claudia again. She tells her about her brothers’ crazy thoughts the previous day.
~ “Don’t you have a favorite?”   “Of course I don’t! Why would I?”   “I mean, you do have a lot.”   “Well, they’re my brothers, not cartoon characters.”
~ Hearing the insanity outside her room, Linka bids Claudia goodbye and hangs up. And happily joins in on her brothers’ chaos.

So sorry this took so long! (this is one of my favorite stories) Hope you like it :)

American Horror Story: Double Feature Tackles Pill-Popping, Blood-Sucking Addiction
https://ift.tt/2WPzD7t
This American Horror Story: Double Feature review contains spoilers.
American Horror Story Season 10 Episode 3
One of my favorite things about American Horror Story has been the fact that if something isn’t particularly working for me, be it a character or a setting, I know that in a few episodes, it’ll be gone. Such is the nature of the seasonal anthology; if something isn’t working for you, check out for ten episodes and when you come back next season, it’ll be something completely different in tone, setting, and content, even if there’ll be members of the cast crossing over and possibly a few references to witches or cults. By putting two ideas together in one short season, Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and the rest of the AHS: Double Feature team is taking their anthology idea to a logical extent. There’s a bit about vampires, and a bit about aliens, and go to the bathroom now because Ryan Murphy is not stopping until the trip is complete.
In a way, it’s an interesting way to make the most of ideas that don’t lend themselves to an eight or 10 episode season arc. Think of it like when a comic book is delayed or doesn’t have enough pages to fill a full issue and a second story is added onto the back to fill in the gap. Such is the case with Double Feature, because it seems as though AHS is blowing through Red Tide as quickly as Macaulay Culkin’s Mickey the hustler could blow through a bag of meth.
It seems as though only last week Alma (Ryan Kiera Armstrong) was dropping her first dose of The Muse and playing violin until she dropped, and now she and her father have a literal blood pact arranged. As in, Harry (Finn Wittrock) goes out to get blood and Alma tries not to eat any more rabbits in broad daylight and wander around suspiciously covered in the red stuff. The addiction for Harry’s little girl is getting bad, and children aren’t known for their ability to delay gratification and control their impulses. But, Harry, for all his faults, is a devoted father who was creative enough to get a TV job even before he started taking creativity pills, so he’s willing to think up new ways to slake both his and his daughter’s growing thirst. (Except she never says she’s thirsty, she just says she’s hungry, which feels like a missed opportunity.)
It’s pretty clear from the moment that Harry fishes pills out of the trash, only to be caught by his daughter and come to an agreement about their use, that things are spiraling out of control for Harry pretty quickly. The complication of his agent Ursula (Leslie Grossman) showing up to intrude on his idyll only adds to his problems, as her presence in the town offends Austin (Evan Peters) and Belle (Frances Conroy) while giving Mickey a glimpse of a way out of his life as a hustler and a desire to do anything to move into a place with heat and a working toilet.

American Horror Story Season 10 Casts Macaulay Culkin and More
By Joseph Baxter
Ursula rolling into town has become a catalyst for a lot of upheaval. Harry has to try and hide Alma’s addiction—as well as his own—from her. She gets Mickey to do a lot of her dirty work, including introducing her to the Chemist (Angelica Ross) and upending her careful arrangement with Belle and Austin. The same Belle and Austin who resent the intrusion of New York life into their quiet, blood-soaked respite from the world. The same Belle and Austin who have work to produce and deadlines to meet, and way too many people snooping around their off-season hunting lodge.
In short, it’s a set-up for a lot of drama in a hurry, with multiple characters playing off one another and amplifying the stakes, if you’ll pardon the vampire pun. Brad Falchuk has served up another great episode, with plenty of pithy lines from Ursula that Leslie Grossman knocks out of the park and some equally pithy rejoinders from the always game Frances Conroy’s Belle. Ursula’s introduction is an immediate game-changer, and just her presence upends every character we’ve met so far, with Falchuk’s script making it clear that her abrasive, inquisitive nature is going to upend a lot of apple carts while seducing people like Mickey into doing her dirty work thanks to her promised revolutionary, and much more profitable, change in how the Chemist does business.
The actors get a little bit of stuff to work with, but most of the storytelling is carried by the visuals of Loni Peristere. Those sweeping shots of cars traveling towards the tip of Massachusetts will always be evocative of loneliness and desolation, and Peristere does great work making good use of red porch lights and the general emptiness of Provincetown in the off-season. Every frame seems absolutely filled with empty space, even if there are other people in it, with both the shots of the bar—emphasizing just how empty it is with nobody in town—and the shots of the beach being especially desolate. Peristere and DP Andrew Mitchell do a wonderful job of just having lots of empty space, in the foreground or the background, which goes a long way towards explaining just how Harry and Mickey can kill hustlers on the beach and get away with it. There’s no one in town except for a few busybodies and lots of Nosferatu, so who is going to notice or care if a guy gets his throat cut on the beach aside from the cops?
cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ playerId: "106e33c0-3911-473c-b599-b1426db57530", }).render("0270c398a82f44f49c23c16122516796"); });
And if something happens to that pesky, prying police chief (Adina Porter)? Well, she wasn’t a local, anyway. Just another tourist, basically, getting into trouble with the other leaf-peepers and snowbirds. Just another vampire sucking the life out of a small New England town.

Mercury - Ascendent Aspects
Mercury Conjunct Ascendant
Those with Mercury conjunct the Ascendant come across as youthful, active, and busy. They are usually ready to chat, although if Mercury is in the twelfth house they may need some encouragement at first. These natives can be quite fidgety and restless, and often move quickly. Their faces are quite expressive and there is a twinkle in the eye. Their expressiveness is not as warm as that of Moon-Ascendant people. Instead, it has a distinctly mischievous quality.
Others get a distinct first impression from a person with Mercury conjunct the Ascendant of a curious, youthful, intelligent, mischievous, or nervous individual. Writing and/or speaking figures strongly in their lives, although listening skills may not be as well developed. They are typically very forthcoming with information about themselves. They might identify strongly with their intelligence or ability to make connections with others. They are at ease with almost anyone, and easily put others at ease. Always curious, they pick up a lot from their immediate environment–sometimes too much.
These are “busy bees” who are insatiably curious. They love to relate personal stories. Their charm is of a youthful, mischievous, and lively kind. They thrive on change, social contact, and communication. Some are noticeably nervous.
Some Famous People with Mercury conjunct the Ascendant: Loni Anderson (Mercury in Virgo conjunct the Ascendant from the first house); Ed Asner (Mercury in Scorpio conjunct the Ascendant from the first house); Alexander Graham Bell (Mercury in Pisces conjunct the Ascendant from the twelfth house); Johanne Brahms (Mercury in Aries conjunct the Ascendant from the first house, also conjunct Jupiter); Jamie Lee Curtis (Mercury in Sagittarius conjunct the Ascendant from the twelfth house); T.S. Eliot (Mercury in Libra conjunct the Ascendant from the first house); Alex Haley (Mercury in Leo conjunct the Ascendant from the first house); Matt LeBlanc (Mercury in Cancer conjunct the Ascendant from the twelfth house); Paul Newman (Mercury in Capricorn conjunct the Ascendant from the first house – also conjunct Venus); John Ritter (Mercury in Libra conjunct the Ascendant from the first house); Ted Turner (Mercury in Sagittarius conjunct the Ascendant from the first house).
Mercury Squqre Ascendant
Without intending to, you often express yourself in such a way that people misunderstand your meaning or are offended. You may use flattery to win people over, but they can usually detect your insincerity if you choose that route! As your own worst critic, you may continually compare your accomplishments to those of your peers.
You must learn to relax and be yourself when you meet new friends and lovers. You project so much nervous energy that this is sometimes all a person sees when they meet you. You send out body language that at times directly conflicts with your verbal message. Ask your partner to pay more attention to your words until you improve your communication skills to bring your verbal and nonverbal messages into agreement. Avoid talking about your problems with your partner to just anyone. This could cause serious damage to your relationship, even if you mean no harm. — From our LoveStyles report.
Mercury Sextile or Trine the Ascendant
Even if other positions in your natal chart suggest otherwise, this aspect aids you in communicating and getting your point made to others. Your wit is sharp and your curiosity is intense. Others find you to be a stimulating conversationalist, and your optimism and enthusiasm can become contagious. Your chances of realizing your goals in life are quite good because you won’t accept defeat. If you are knocked down a rung or two, you will get right back up and try again. Whether you win or lose, you learn something from everything you experience in life. You are well read and therefore can speak with authority on many subjects. In your dealings with others, you generally approach situations from an intellectual rather than emotional perspective. With your talent for detached observation and your way with words, you could also be an excellent writer.
In your love life, you have a natural talent for communicating your needs and desires to your partner, and your gestures and facial expressions sometimes tell more than your words. You can help your partner to communicate more freely with you so that tensions and frustrations between you can be expressed without being allowed to build up. You are a never-ending source of new and clever ideas. You are a master at combining verbal language with subtle body signs to further convey your meaning. It may take your partner a while to learn to read your subtlest communications, but once you are familiar with each other you will be able to communicate very well, even without words. You are attracted to others primarily through their minds; if they measure up intellectually, then you get to know the rest of them. — From our LoveStyles report.
The trine aspect is the more dynamic of the two harmonious aspects. Those with the sextile can call upon these traits when needed, and those with the trine between the Mercury and the Ascendant have incorporated the traits of the aspect into their personalities, expressing them naturally and consistently.
Mercury quincunx (inconjunct) the Ascendant
You may have difficulty communicating with others at times because they (or you!) often misinterpret who you are. You are very practical and sensible, and you are disappointed when others don’t give you the credit you deserve. You have a nervous nature, which can lead to a tendency for disorder and confusion around you.
You love to talk and can sometimes talk too much, especially with your close friends and lovers. You’ll make a better impression if you thoroughly think through what you want to say before opening your mouth. This way you can avoid contradicting yourself or becoming redundant. You need a partner whose mind is as active as yours, and who doesn’t misinterpret your energetic mind for flightiness. — From our LoveStyles report.
Mercury Opposition Ascendant
Communication is very important to you, and your mind is sharper and more creative when you have a partner you can bounce your thoughts and ideas off of. You are an excellent conversationalist and can fascinate your partners with your sharp mind. You love to debate issues just for the mental exercise, even if you don’t feel strongly about the position you argue! You play devil’s advocate often, and your ideal partner understands that your debates are, in fact, mental exercises–certainly not attacks! You are also prone to exaggerate or stretch the truth when trying to make your point, especially when it comes to your own background or experience.
In your close relationships, your partner serves as a mirror, reflecting your thoughts and ideas back to you from a different perspective. You are rather independent and will not allow anyone to restrict your freedom, but you love to talk things out before arriving at a decision. Truth is, you won’t always take others’ advice! However, you do enjoy looking at problems from all sorts of different perspectives. You may choose partners who are considerably younger than you, or who are not as academically smart as you. In some cases, this position indicates partners who are tricky, mischievous, or two-faced. Conversations with you are always stimulating and lively. The ability to share your thoughts with a partner is vital to your sense of fulfillment in a close personal relationship. — From our LoveStyles report.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
CELEBRITIES BORN ON THIS DAY: Adam Yauch, Maureen McCormick, Loni Anderson, John Huston, Neil Armstrong, Ami Foster, Patrick Ewing, Faith Prince, Kajol
ARIES (March 21-April 19): Fun is very much the order of the day for you today. Even if you are at work or have a busy day at school there will still be plenty of time for some laughs. In the evening it looks set to be a whirlwind of socializing with friends and family. You are in the mood for playing some pranks so it looks like being a riot!
TAURUS (April 20-May 20): You’re facing some challenges today from your ruling planet Venus. You will be in the mood to be fairly virtuous by catching up on some outstanding work or school assignments. However, someone very close to you will be in the mood for spending some special time together.
GEMINI (May 21-June 20): It takes an awful lot to throw you off your usual steady self confident course in life. Your natural flexibility and quick wit allows you to deal with anything that comes your way. However, the indications are that a surprise will be revealed today that will stop even you in your tracks if only for a little while!
CANCER (June 21-July 22): Romance continues to be very highly indicated in your chart and so you need to make sure that you capitalize on this opportunity to boost your love life. Today is very definitely a day for making a grand romantic gesture. Take that special someone out for a slap up meal and let them know just how you feel!
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): Your leadership skills will be coming to the fore today as some kind of organizational crisis looks set to hit your personal environment. While you will relish the chance to take charge and put everything back to normal, this is also an opportunity for you to develop your listening skills.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): A particularly challenging planetary aspect affects you today. This aspect will force you to reconsider your tendency to be too amenable to the needs and wants of others in your life. Today should be a moment when you make a conscious decision to put yourself first for a while!
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): If there is any major job that you have been putting off for a while then today is the ideal day to finally get round to making a start. The influence of Mars in your sign is giving you enormous reserves of energy and it would be a real shame to let all that potential go to waste!
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): Finances have never been your strong point, as you feel much more at home with emotional issues than with budgeting. However, now is a great time to have a good look at your current money arrangements. A few small changes could lead to some major improvements in your spending ability.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): You like to think of yourself as one of the more easy going signs of the zodiac. While you are at your happiest when simply going with the flow this can sometimes lead to resentment that you then have to carry around inside. A powerful pattern today in the planets means now is the time to let that resentment out!
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): Family is very important to you, but you are not always as good as you could be at keeping in touch with those who are close to you. Today the planets indicate that there is some important family news on the horizon. Dig out your address book and check in with your relatives to share in the happiness.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): Creativity is still very high on your agenda today. You will be feeling in a very spontaneous mood and will be dying to act on all those creative urges. However, the planets are telling you that you also have some serious work to do before you can indulge your more artistic side!
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20): There is a strong likelihood that you have been burying your head in the sand lately in relation to a romantic relationship. This is unlike you as usually you will be the first to discuss any issues that need to be resolved. Whatever the problem is needs to be aired today in order to avoid some conflict later on.
FOR THOSE OF US BORN ON THIS DAY: Happy Birthday! A challenging year lies ahead and at times it may feel as though the road ahead is strewn with obstacles.
However, if you face these challenges as learning opportunities by the end of the year you will have discovered an awful lot about yourself and your true capabilities.
Never forget that you have a lot of friends around you who will be only too willing to help you find your way. Watch the cash flow in December: it might seem obvious that you’ll want to spend more at the festive season, but shop early for those bargain gifts to ease the financial pressure!
After the New year, your finances will pick up nicely again, as will your love-life, in the form of a new, budding and sweet romance!
CELEBRITY GOSSIP: Beyonce has been a global star for many years now, but unlike many of her contemporaries she is still producing interesting and innovative music. It is no surprise that yet again she has been nominated for a number of awards and the planets tell us that she should do extremely well when it comes to the video awards!

Tips To Make Online Meetings Less Exhausting
youtube
Recently I facilitated an online session about how to get better at online meetings for Lightful in the UK where I am a Senior Advisor at Lightful, among other activities, facilitate online master classes for their BRIDGE programme.
Here’s an overview the tips and resources I shared.
Don’t wing it alone
It’s easy to wing meetings with no formalised planning or an agenda. According to Beth, a good meeting is based on good design. You can plan the topics, the minutes you allocate on each topic, the speakers but also the roles for each attendee (facilitator, tech steward, note-taker, etc).
An online meeting is more effective when you have at least two facilitators. This makes it easier to focus on the content while handling additional questions, troubleshooting and technical problems.
Embrace new workplace norms for meetings
We need to embrace the new workplace norms. It’s hard juggling parenting with work and you need to acknowledge it.
Children (and pets) are welcome
We all need to be more understanding of the new norm. Children and pets can be welcome in your meeting if needed.
Encourage being on camera
We are not used to seeing ourselves on camera. And it can be exhausting staring at a screen most of the day. But it can also help you feel closer to your colleagues when attending a meeting. If you want to look better on camera, you can raise the level of the laptop or use a light close to you!
Use Zoom backgrounds if you want to hide your messy house
Zoom backgrounds have become very popular lately. It’s a quick way to hide your background but also to have fun with your colleagues when picking a background. Canva have even introduced a template to create your own Zoom backgrounds now! Reminder: when you are not using it anymore, make sure you change the settings.
Use ice breakers and energizers
Ice breakers and energizers are helpful to check in with your colleagues or even to share optimism and fun. You can find out more about them in this blog post on virtual meetings and check-ins during a pandemic. You can also check a few ice breakers and energizers on our video recording of the session.
Just say no when you have too many meetings without a break
Try to avoid a busy calendar with too many calls. Aim for a break after 60-90 minutes of a call. It’s helping you to stay focused while avoiding the so-called “Zoom overload”. If you need to have a longer meeting, consider splitting it into two meetings instead.
Use Zoom breakout rooms
Breakout rooms are a feature in Zoom that allows you to put people in smaller rooms for more intimate conversations. They can be very useful when you want to have an icebreaker, brainstorming, decision-making, etc. We’ve modeled them as part of the session and it allowed us to brainstorm in smaller teams on how to be more engaging in our meetings from now on.

On Completing The Cultural Trifecta     It's here where I'd like to complete the circle of All-Time Favorite Theatrical Offerings by, now that I've disclosed to you what my All-Time Most-Cherished Etc. is and what my All-Time Second-Most-Cherished Etc. is--and now that you know categorically and for all time that during the entirety of my adult life I have been and still am a Meghan McCain-esque geek--letting you in on what my All-Time Third-Most-Highly-Regarded Theatrical Work is. And what has that title is the leonine writer-producer-director Garry Marshall's final creative object Mother's Day.               I know--I've talked about this work before. But here I want to go into delicious detail as to just why this project has such a large and strong hold on my affections, why exactly I hold this work in such monumentally high esteem.               .The flick's trio of leading ladies are perfectly showcased. The Aniston/Hudson/Roberts trio radiate the kind of beauty and sexiness that would have even a marginally heterosexual man panting to beat the band (They all have extremely professional assistance from costume designers Marilyn Vance and Beverly Woods and from cameraperson Charles Minsky). And their interplay, not to mention their individual portrayals, are nothing less than stellar--interestingly, Aniston is the only one of them who hadn't worked with Garry before, with Roberts, of course, being a Garry cinematic regular. It was because of his expert knowledge and his expert guidance that these chicks are in top acting form.       .The supporting cast comes through and does so with flying colors. The backup players, without exception, adroitly show that they know their business, going about it in an observant and polished manner. Margo Martindale and Robert Pine effortlessly exhibit trailer-trash backwardness as Hudson's rather philistine--Trump-supporter-level, shall we say--parents. Sarah Chalke easily draws you in as Hudson's sassy, sexy sis. Timothy Olyphant and Shay Mitchell reflect enticing parental concern and enticing sex appeal, respectively, as Aniston's ex and that ex's second wife. Jessi Cage and Ella Anderson make sprightly and lovable daughters to Jason Sudeikis's Dad (I'll make a point about Cage that I've made before: Considering her tender age, she is appealingly leggy and has an appealingly-sculptured pair of bare feet). Britt Robertson and Jack Whitehall are so attractive and so likable a young married couple that we unabashedly yearn for them to be our next-door neighbors. Loni Love, as Sudeikis's galpal Kimberly, is beguilingly warm and beguilingly supportive. Jennifer Garner makes her one scene as Sudeikis's late Armed Forces-serving wife--actually, she's only seen in a video singing karaoke as her brother enlistees are happily watching and listening--stand out due to her bouncy college-coed good looks and her open-faced charm. And of course the Garry theatrical-film regular Hector Elizondo makes his role as Roberts's agent/close buddy memorable, thanks to his usual stylish dignity and avuncular warmth (To his great credit, Garry at last finally freely acknowledged Elizondo's status in his pictures, as he had the closing credits read: "And, As Usual, Hector Elizondo"). It was the veteran character actor Vito Scotti who told TV Guide that the relationship of character actors regarding the star is that of "the peas around the steak." It is Mother's crew of supporting players who are the intensely tasty peas around the equally succulent steak of Aniston/Hudson/Roberts.                   .There's a marvelously casual air to the entire production. Garry's prior holiday-themed theatrical films--Valentine's Day, New Year's Eve--as qualitative as they were, tended to make big deals of themselves. Mother's, commendably, never, ever does. All during said picture's unspooling there's a very engaging matter-of-factness about it all, an entirely ingratiating throwaway atmosphere throughout. It's this relaxed demeanor, this consistent refusal to in any sense thump its chest that is such a significant factor in making Mother's so resolutely worth watching.               It was Robert Blake, the 1970s rough, tough undercover television cop Baretta, of all people, who best voiced what should be the attitude of the real and true creative person: "My job is to please me and hope the audience agrees." It is abundantly clear that in making Mother's Day Garry Marshall and his actors set out to please themselves and majorly succeeded. And it we, the audience, who do not at all hesitate to agree with them.

what'sloni like in your headcannon?
Thanks for askin! 💚 Hm, Loni was a hard character to write for. But I’m glad with how this came out. So, here ya go~! Enjoy~
Edit: Updated!
Loni Loud
Loni is a major dimwit, despite being the second oldest of the Loud siblings. His simple-mindedness and naiveté is expressed throughout the series when he shows he doesn’t understand simple facts or logic and usually gets him into dumb trouble. He doesn’t know how to keep a secret for his life, either. His siblings are constantly annoyed by his extreme stupidity and forgetfulness, but they love to make fun of it all the time.
Despite his major dimwittedness, Loni has a heart of gold. He is very kind, friendly, and gets along well with all of his siblings. He is very compassionate, always showing concern for his siblings if they have a problem and will gladly help them, and considerate, paying attention to what people like and throwing perfect surprise parties. What Loni lacks in smarts, he makes up with his heart.
His simplemindedness also causes him to act like a child and he has proven he can be irresponsible, as he has absently forgotten favors for his siblings.
He is skilled in fashion designing. He designs different kinds of outfits, a majority of his closet containing clothes he made. And he occasionally makes cute outfits for Linka when she convinces him to. While he is skilled in the fashion making, he sees it more as a hobby.
But he is a very fashionable boi. He has a dressy casual look, aiming to look fancy. Somewhat like an actor’s casual due to his biggest passion. Speaking of which.
Loni’s biggest passion is acting. He’s in theater and improv in school. He is a very impressive actor, especially for his young age. He is able to bring out strong emotion and heart into his act and can almost perfectly portray any character he’s given. Everyone in the club and his coach are very impressed by his talent. Occasionally, he breaks into a character at home. He dreams of becoming a famous actor in the future.
His passion for acting gives him a love for movies. He’ll go see whatever new movie comes out that interests him, which is almost every movie. He goes to the movie theater at least 3 to 4 times a week. He was happy to get his new job at Reininger’s so he had his own money for movie tickets.
Loni may be a complete dimwit in all areas. But when it comes to critiquing movies, he becomes a genius. He’s like the Stephen Hawking of movie critics. He’s very knowledgeable, almost gifted, in what makes a good quality movie or a bad movie and gives intelligent, well opinionated reviews- almost professional critic levels. If someone finds him talking about or critiquing a movie, they wouldn’t think he’s a dummy in all other subjects.
He runs an online video channel called “The Loud Critic”. On the channel, he reviews movies and films, and sometimes TV shows as well. He reviews and criticizes movies in both a serious and comedic way and he writes one or two skits parodying the movie he’s reviewing, with costumes he made himself. Think of him as the “Nostalgia Critic” of the genderbent Loud House. Except with all kinds of movies and fewer skits. His video channel is pretty popular, with 300,000 followers, and his theater classmates are influenced by his reviews. Sometimes, he lets his siblings star in his videos, either in a skit he writes or, in much rarer cases, a Loud collaboration for a movie. If he doesn’t make it as an actor, he’ll make his channel his career. (his title character is based off Nostalgia Critic as well :P)
He also gets emotional in many ways watching a film. If it’s so good, it punches him in the heart with feels. And the things that pisses him off more than anything in a bad movie is bad acting and exposition with no humanity.
He is shown to be creative and artistically inclined. Besides acting and fashion designing, he also knows how to wood carve, lock-pick, and make teddy bears. He is also skilled in hairstyling, even having a second part-time job at a barbershop. His family doesn’t have to pay for a haircut thanks to him.
He’s actually the one that styled Luke’s faux cut. :3
His other hobbies include taking selfies, reading plays, making smoothies, watching TV with his siblings (especially Dream Boat), playing badminton, hanging out with his friends.
Loni is quite popular with the girls in school. With his conventional good looks, dressy fashion style, acting skills, and sensitivity with emotions, girls are always looking at him with affection and love struck heart eyes. They often leave notes or presents in his locker or on his desks, compliment and flirt with him, and even ask him out. Half the time, he can’t tell when they’re flirting with him, but he knows how to treat them with courtesy. Because of his kindness and compassion, he takes the girls out for one date night. And he treats them like the gentleman he is. However, he usually doesn’t reciprocate their feelings and tells them the truth. A majority of the girls will thank him for each date and a nice time, despite him not returning their crush. Because of the numerous dates, he is often mistaken for a playboy, much to his chagrin.
He is not a good driver, surprise. He’s failed his driver’s test twelve times and everyone has given up on teaching him. As a result, he doesn’t have a driver’s license yet. He tries really hard to learn, though. But something always happens to make him fail.
He suffers from arachnophobia. He’ll kill any spider he spots.
Sometimes, Loni is too nice for his own good. His siblings have even tried to toughen him up, but he prefers to be kind, sometimes concerning his siblings that he’ll become a pushover.
Out of all the siblings, Loni is the only one entirely emotionally open. He doesn’t mind showing his true emotions or telling how he feels. He is also aware of when they make fun of his stupidity and hates it. He constantly tries to prove to them that he is smart and able to take care of himself. While he prefers his compassion, he isn’t afraid to stand up for himself. “There’s more than just air in my head!”
And he wants to show his siblings it’s okay to express vulnerability and sadness and fear. It may take awhile, though XP
Overall: VERY dimwitted, simple-minded, forgetful, heart of gold, compassionate, talented actor, genius movie critic, creative, artistically inclined, popular, bad driver, arachnophobia, too nice for his own good, emotionally open, wants to prove himself
